While en route to my gate at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, the lingering scent of Auntie Anne's pretzels lured me back to the area once I located my gate. However, in a shocking plot twist, I caved and purchased bite-sized cinnamon rolls from Cinnabon instead!
This Cinnabon was literally right next to Auntie Anne's, which did terrible things to my willpower. The employee at the register processed my order in a timely manner. But the funniest part was when I was standing there, completely paralyzed by indecision between the two shops. He looked right at me and said, "You know, you could just buy both." Gosh, I should have stayed away!
After purchasing a cup of warm, gooey, bite-sized center of the roll pieces topped with signature cream cheese frosting, I scouted the terminal for an open gate with charging outlets. I needed to immediately satisfy the cinnamon craving that had been haunting me since making it through TSA. Kudos to me for planning ahead: I was wearing my most forgiving stretchy pants and a pair of highly accommodating panties, fully prepared for the midsection expansion that follows an 760-calorie snack. Honestly, trying to eat just one of those soft, doughy bites is a losing battle. The second it hits your tongue, it's like a firecracker going off in your mouth--if a firecracker were made of pure, unadulterated, buttery bliss.
I had a great experience at this Cinnabon location. Because of that, I will definitely visit again whenever I'm in this terminal at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Going through airport security is stressful, but this Cinnabon is the ultimate reward.
