Everything is very clearly well thought out and intentional. The odes to Mikey make me smile. The reason I'm leaving another 5 star review? The service. I brought my kiddo in for a quick bite after her gymnastics practice this weekend. It was so warm out that we decided to sit on the patio. We had underestimated the strength of the wind, and her cookie blew off from our table. Was this their fault? Absolutely not. We're Ohioans, we know what we sign up for any time we decide to trust the weather. However, as we went to move inside the owner was already having a new cookie brought out to her. Caring about the guest's experience and that level of attention to detail makes the difference between the good and the great. I truly hope they thrive.

We did a long run and wanted a quick breakfast afterwards without feeling like crap, Yelp to the rescue...so we stopped in the nourishing nook for a quick bite and caffeine hit. The menu was simple, offering a combination of breakfast and lunch options with juices and plenty of caffeine. We opted for breakfast basics, the avocado toast was a big serving, perfectly ripe avocados with a hint of lemon, delicious. My husband loved the maple sausage egg sandwich with cheese. Now on to the star, the chai was fantastic hot and spicy and the coffees, even got it to go, were fresh ground and made to order. If you need to host an event, they event have a gathering room in the back of the cafe. The only downside was the maple-kissed sweet potato sides. Both of ours had no flavor, were under cooked and crunchy, and looked like they had been sliced for a while based on their shriveled appearance. I'm still giving 4/5 stars based on the good amount of chicken in the flatbreads.
