The broth that comes with it was great. The bok choy was cooked perfectly, and the noodles are soft as well. The beef was very tender and complements the contents of the dish. The BBQ chicken skewers were not that great. But still, the texture and char on the chicken was pretty good. I would recommend stopping here if you're in the area and want to try Filipino food.

I have yet to visit the restaurant, so this review is for the food truck. I first discovered the food truck at the Beachwood Truck Park (now closed). I then rediscovered the food truck during the World on Stage Concert at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens this weekend. Both memorable food experiences! Food: My order during the latest visit included Chicken Tocino ($17) and Ube Cheesecake Cookie ($5). I felt like the food was much tastier the second time around. Chicken Tocino included generous serving of meat and was perfectly marinated. The dish was so plentiful with egg, meat, rice, and marinated veggies. I ate with my eyes closed! Ube Cookie always satisfies my soul. It had a good amount of Ube, was sweet, and delicious. If I wasn't already very full, I'd go for seconds. Almost forgot, you get a buzzer/pager that rings when your food is ready. It's a great idea for large scale events and venues where the truck might be. Service: Everyone working the food truck was nice. Asked me about my meal, wished me a pleasant meal, and provided me with to go bag for my leftovers. Interactions were very warm and friendly. Find the food truck: Street Food Finder site will allow you to find their food truck locations. You can mostly find them at Lakewood Truck Park. By the way, cash is the preferred payment method. Credit cards are accepted. I look forward to visiting the restaurant and further exploring all the menu. I also want to see if the brick and mortar location also has cute palm vibes like the food truck. I'll certainly catch Parilya food truck around the town too!

Overall the burger was pretty tasty, the star of the show was definitely the beef patty that tasted homemade and was well seasoned. Cheese was grilled and therefore melts, it was great. What let this dish down honestly to me was the bun. They advertised it as a fresh bun, never frozen; although I agreed that it didn't taste like it had been frozen previously, the bun was served to me cold! So to me it wasn't fresh. At least they could've heated the bun up a bit by, oh I don't know, maybe putting it on top of the grill. Get that grill marks, you know. So that kinda let down the whole thing a bit. Another point deduction definitely came from the price they charged. $11 for a regular-sized cheeseburger to me was a bit much. And the size was not that big either.

Sweating profusely, I walked towards the cashier and asked her what she recommended. She said the 'High Rise Burger' - without a second thought or glance at the menu, I acquiesced and ordered it. The high rise burger ($10) was delicious although my senses may have been clouded by thoughts of the cashier. Succulent pulled pork piled on top of a fresh beef patty with onions and slaw. The beef patty was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of texture and juice. Tasted like being at a summer cookout in the backyard. I came to learn that it was their first day ever at Walnut Wednesday and it is run by an ex-firefighter chef. Cool looking truck, yummy food and cute cashier. Go to Firehouse grilling co next time you see their truck around!
