I used Off the Griddle for my son's graduation party. The staff was friendly and professional. Everyone loved the food. Service was also very fast. My biggest concern for the party was not having enough food. I wasn't sure if we would have 70 people or 140 people attend. The owner assured me that they could handle it no matter who showed up. It was so nice not to have to worry about replenishing food throughout the party while more guests continued to arrive (we ended up somewhere around 110). Off the Griddle came to our neighborhood and they were great. They were fast and kept the line moving. We tried 4 things. The fries with garlic aioli were phenomenal. The Big Pig was also phenomenal. It had a great crunch from the cole slaw and good flavor. The Cuban was also tasty. It was your basic Cuban flavors. We used Off the GRIDdle for a conference at Bellwether Farm Center of 35 adults. Greg was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Kathy and her team mate who came on-site in the food truck (I'm sorry I didn't retain his name) were amazing and the food was a hit! What a great operation, Ashley and Cathy were a great team! We had them for a wedding shower. Our fire dept did an inspection (which they passed) he commented how clean everything was. Between my wife and I we had slightly different opinions on this place. She decided on a 3 and I decided on a 5, together we averaged it out. While somewhat pricey, Off The GRIDdle creates some amazing plates. Of all their choices, the fries with garlic aioli were my favorite. First food truck of 2020! The truck came by Edgewater yesterday which was awesome to get out of the apartment for some food during this virus craziness. Ordered the pig big and was impressed! The sandwich was very good and big. I'm personally not the biggest bbq fan in the world so I could have went with a little less sauce and maybe a creamier coleslaw but it was still very good. Off The GRIDdle was located outside a friends apartment the other day so we decided to give it a try. Food trucks are one of my favorite ways of trying new places because the service is quick and the food is usually really good. The staff was super nice and welcoming! I got to check out this truck last trip to Cleveland and absolutely loved it. I stumbled upon this food truck while it was parked outside of our Cleveland office and decided to give it a try. I had the veggie pita and it was awesome: fresh veggies topped with a creamy sauce all on a chewy pita, I was in heaven. It came with a side of fries topped in garlic aioli and I couldn't get enough of that amazing sauce, I wanted it on everything! The lady at the order window was wonderful. She was willing to answer any questions I posed and explained the menu options, making sure I was one happy vegetarian. Several times I saw staff come from inside the truck to insure everything was clean, napkins and condiments available, and everyone had what they needed. The booth at the IX center claimed not to have tap water (asked for a small cup instead of spending $5 for a bottle of Aquafina); and wouldn't even give an empty cup to a paying customer to fill in the bathroom. The sandwich and fries were far too greasy; I heard the tacos were good from someone else but that's hearsay. Initially the stated lack of tap water was revolting because it called hand washing practices into question (and this did color my experience of the place) but the owner messaged me later to say that they have water but they aren't allowed to give it to thirsty people. Denying a cup of tap water is illegal in a number of states (including where I used to live) and while Ohio does not have that law it's still a jerk move to not even give a paper cup to fill in the bathroom. read more

I hired Off The GRIDle for my son's surprise 21st birthday party. The event had a combination of adults and kids and everyone was raved about the food. There was something for everyone! I couldn't believe how delicious everything was and how quickly they were able to prepare the orders for each guest. Everything was made to order and so fresh! The truck popped up in our neighborhood and I thought we'd try it. I got the chicken tacos with corn salsa in flour tortillas. I also got the french fries with aoli sauce. I had the pleasure of visiting this food truck on Public Square's Food Truck Tuesday event. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy some street food between meetings! Even though there were tons of options, we chose Off The GRIDdle because 1) it had the longest line so we thought it would be the best and 2) had the healthiest menu items amongst the bbq-heavy lineup. Even though the line was long, it moved very quickly and our instinct was right - it was very good food! I ordered the chicken taco salad and let me tell you - they do NOT skimp on the chicken! There was a solid layer under the black bean/corn salsa and it was about a 2:1 ratio to the actual lettuce. I love meat, so I was really happy! I normally am not a fan of corn, but the salsa was really tasty. The fries are also a must-have if you like spicy, well-seasoned fries! They're super addicting. Off The GRIDdle - Pulled pork tacos and Cuban - Food Trucks Near Me

I'm not a huge fan of food trucks despite the fact that I hit them up whenever they're available to me. Their unique menus reel me in. Cleveland's food trucks in particular tend to follow a pattern: put some kind of meat (usually Korean BBQ) on some kind of carb (usually a flour tortilla), and throw all kinds of toppings on it (usually some kind of slaw, aioli, spicy mayo, and tots). All these things sound good, but the end result almost always disappoints. Enter OTG. Their menu consists of waffle and naan sandwiches. No Korean BBQ? They already won me over. I love KBBQ, but whatever those other food trucks are serving up is not KBBQ. I got the "Acapulco Pulled", which is adobo-rubbed chicken, black bean and corn salsa, and avocado-lime sauce on a buttery naan. This was really good, and very filling too. So good that I ended up getting a "Strawberry Banana Almondine" also, which is strawberries, banana puree, and almond slices on a waffle. This was not so good. The toppings were straightforward, but the waffle was not very good. It was just soft, mushy, flavorless dough in the shape of a waffle. Overall I was pretty satisfied and would probably go again. I'd steer clear of the waffles though. read more

Oh, I really like this food truck. It's a brunch-inspired food truck, which means..... that they use flatbreads and waffles as their vessels rather than subs. You can really have it anytime. I've tried their cuban and their chicken bacon club. The Cuban is probably their most popular item - it's pulled pork (which was amazing!), ham (which was okay), cheese, mustard, and garlic, on flatbread. The chicken bacon club is pulled chicken, bacon, ham, cheese, lettuce and tomato, on flatbread. Both of them had very good mixes of flavors overall and I enjoyed the flatbread concept. This is definitely one of the "higher quality" food trucks I've ever eaten at. My workplace frequently has food trucks in the spring/summer and this truck just came by. A lot of these trucks tend to have a grungy/worn appearance, but this truck looked very new. There is also a pretty extensive menu for food truck standards, so there is something for everyone! I had a taste for the Cuban, so I ordered that! It was presented so nicely and was HUGE! Loaded with pulled pork, ham, Swiss, pickles, plus mustard and garlic aioli drizzled on top. The flavors were delicious and all blended nicely together. That was all I was going to get, but I caved and got the fries after seeing several people in front of me order them. The garlic aioli complements the fries well and they were also flavorful. It was quite a pricey lunch, $15 for the sandwich and fries, but well worth the money in my opinion. The high-quality food was amazing (I'd recommend the Big Pig) and the staff was very nice and easy to work with during the event. Our neighborhood planned a Food Truck event for every Wednesday this summer. It started this week with a BANG with amazing food from Off the GRIDdle. The food was fresh, service was fast and the staff was very friendly. My family devoured their food. Our favorites were the Cuban with pulled pork and grilled ham, the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which is served on a flatbread and the Acapulco Pulled Salad. I was called to serve on jury duty Monday 8-12-19 in Cleveland. Myself and 2 other jurors decided that 3 tacos a piece were too much to eat and we would split an order because they come as 3 with no exceptions. I specifically explained this to the lady taking my order and asked for 2 extra cardboard holders so we could all share. She agreed and when our order came up it was a Buffalo sandwich. I stated that we had the tacos to share. She was very rude and unprofessional and made myself and the 2 older ladies I was buying lunch for feel terrible. Then the cook guy was yelling there goes 10 dollars down the drain. This all in front of customers who heard me order and the workers messed it up and treated us like crap! TERRIBLE!!
