I do not believe i have ever given 5 stars to a pub/dive bar...but these guys deserve it! We came while in town to visit CVNP and frankly wasn't expecting too much. The menu is what one would expect in a dive bar, except it didn't have all the greasy bits! I had a corned beef sandwich which is grilled, but crispy not greasy! The French fries are outstanding...crispy so very crispy on the outside with fluffy potato on the inside. Hubby had a club sandwich and was very happy with it. The service was prompt, very friendly and upbeat. It is noisy with all the patrons talking, but its a joyful thing. Give this place a try!! read more

Food was good but service was terrible. We ordered 2 Bloody Mary's, one not spicy for my friend. They came to us the exact same. So she asked for some tomato juice to lessen the heat and she charged her $2.99 for a small can when she screwed it up and didn't listen. Breakfast was amazing but not once we were asked If everything was okay or do we need anything else...nothing. guess the reviews are true. If you aren't a regular they don't care about you. Despite living in Northfield Center for 40 years, we had never tried Pat Dee's. We saw such great reviews on yelp that we decided to give them a try. We have obviously missed the best pizza in town for years. Two large pizzas(Pickle Pizza and Meatlover) with tons of toppings were only $28. They were delicious and we will never order pizza from any place else in this area, including Farinacci. Since I did carry out, I'm not sure how the services is. It's definitely a dive bar with original paneling. It did appear to be very clean in there. read more

We get lunch here at least 2x week! Food is oddly spectacular! The atmosphere is definitely "bar" but wow, the salads, lunch sandwiches and chili are SOOO good! Fries are always crunchy. I want to try everything on their menu! Prices are half what Panera would charge. read more

We've eaten here a few times in the past couple of months and the food has always been perfect. Surprisingly delicious pizza that will rival any pizza shop and scrumptious burgers, wings, Rubens, club sandwiches and their daily specials are amazing (the Tuesday meat loaf is incredible!!) Service is friendly and prompt and yea, it's a smallish "bar" but that adds to the enjoyably casual feel and phenomenally reasonable (ahem...cheap) food and drinks prices. Try it. read more

Lovely place to eat, definitely a bar feel but if that doesn't bother you then its perfect. I sat at the bar and she was lovely and attentive. Food came out extremely quick even with the restaurant half full. If you are on a budget look no further because a full breakfast is about $15 with 20% tip. I love little holes in the wall and this was definitely one of my favorites just because you can feel how the staff is actually a family and works together. 10/10 would come again read more

I had the pickle pizza. It was salty and greasy and delicious :) caution if you suffer from high blood pressure. :) the waitress consistently came back to the table to check on us and refill drinks. Ambiance is your typical greasy spoon but it appeared clean enough ( tables and chairs were clean , nothing was sticky etc ) will go back when I need some good bar food. read more

I often stop here while out riding with my friends for a beer and a burger. It's kind of old school with many tables which they move around to accommodate the number of people in your party. The major emphasis is the bar, and it's clean, with courteous bartenders and servers. Not really a place to visit for an upscale dinner, although I've never had a bad sandwich there. My brother and I went to breakfast here. Really good food! He got the country fried steak and eggs. I got bacon, eggs and hash browns. The hash browns were outstanding! This is a quaint little place. Small bar setting and the bartender was not that nice. Didn't seem to want to be there. Took about 10 minutes for them to greet and take our drink orders. We finally got drinks and decided to order food. Decided on a pizza, and boy was that a great choice! The pizza was an 8 cut and it was delicious! I'll come back for that. Although if it is just you and one other it might be a bit much depending on your appetite. The price wasn't bad either. Not sure I'll go back, did not feel very welcomed. What a place. Sunday morning at 10am and the place has a good crowd. It was full of blue collar, bearded guys that were some of the friendliest people I have come across in a long time. Moved to the area a year ago and thought we would try this place. The food was decent. Service was mediocre and went from bad to worse. The service is horrible with very rude servers, unless you are a regular you're lucky to get waited on at all. Two servers were arguing loudly in front of everyone about taking too many breaks. Same server named Beth-who is mentioned in the next fiasco.... My husband went for breakfast and the waitress charged him $42 for 2 eggs and juice-never gave him his coffee and then accused him of lying saying he was sitting with another guy who told her my husband would pay the tab. luckily a regular was sitting at the bar and vouched for my husband. The waitress, who's name is Beth responded "whatever" and walked away. The manager said she would credit the bank card, but only voided it out in the register. We had to file a claim with our bank for the refund. Not my idea a great place to relax and be treated with respect. Not going back and suggesting that our friends don't support this place either! read more

I am surprised that there is not a lot more local buzz for Pat Dees. The food is surprisingly good. My first visit to Pat Dees was when I needed to get some food to help the contents of my stomach from a recently completed pub run. So I was going to like about anything placed in front of me. A very nice French dip was a great choice. But I made sure to go back twice after that before forming an opinion. So after an awesome patty melt and above average pizza, here you go. Pat Dees is above average food, great portions, and amazing price. During happy hour, 3 22 oz., and the afore mentioned patty melt, I got out of there for less than a 10 spot (not including tip). The only con of Pat Dees is the service is a bit slow. All three times I had to ask for a menu. *disclaimer: It's very good bar food. read more

No. Just no. Stopped for b-fast on a Saturday morning about 7:30. The coffee is terrible. The toast is burnt and I didn't like the taste of the non-burnt parts. The overall quality and taste of the whole meal was not good. Had eggs over medium (those were fine), bacon was chewy, cubed hash browns fine, I paid 50 cents extra for green peppers and onions and there was literally like 5 tiny onion pieces and a few more diced green pepper. I would call this a Cuyahoga Valley experience unique to itself. I was told about the place by a cyclist/skier friend who I met in the national park. Well I finally went for breakfast today and the place blew my expectations away. You walk in... You think, locals joint for sure. Which in my opinion, is awesome. Best sausage, hash browns, eggs and coffee I've had other than at grandma's house. Best part? 2 coffees and 2 breakfasts, $15!!! In Lakewood or Tremont this would've been $40. read more

Definitely a little neighborhood bar, with the feel that comes with it. But the burgers are made fresh and are served on really good bread, the fries are hot, and the pizza is tasty. The ribeye steak dinner is a good bargain for your money, but be warned it won't be the best steak you've ever had. The wings are large and also tasty. We didn't have bad service, but you can definitely tell there are regulars who probably can take precedence. But you can't beat the bar food for the price. read more
