Food is great, but service can be absolutely horrendous half the time depending on who they have on staff. Willow was our most recent server, and she didn't check on our table a single time after getting our drinks and orders - and we were there for over an hour. When we recognized that this was the same server that we had the last time we were there, we knew it was going to be a bad experience, because she did the same thing to us the first time. Came here the other night to get the 3 for me special. It's been a bit since I came to Chili's probably 8 months or so. The 3 for me has changed. Now there are levels. Whereas last time they had 4 options all the same price. Now it's only 2 options and the other 2 selection are a few dollars more. I get it prices all go up. I got the new QP burger and my partner got the old timer burger. The old timer is what we use to get that is now $2 more from $10.99 to $12.99. The QP is $10.99. Anyway on to the review. It was crowded. We decided to sit at the bar. It was open and there wasn't any issues. Bartender was busy. But nice and accommodating. She gave us a taste of the cider boys cider on tap to try. There were a good amount a couple and singles at the bar. She was handling all of it. She took our order of the 3 for me. She brought everything out in a timely manner. The salads were fine. Pretty small. But tasted fine. Burgers shortly after. Lots of fries and pipping hot too. Very good. Burgers were big and tasted good. Overall, this is a great value meal. And honestly it's good. I know Chilis has a lot of other menu items but this is so good and such a value I keep going back for it. Decor and place is a typical Chilis chain. Service is always decent and food is good. I met a friend for appetizers and drink. We sat at the bar. The bartender acted as if we were see through. No " welcome, what can I get you" Nothing. Eventually when we were acknowledged we ordered our drink and appetizers at the same time because God knows when we would see her again. We placed an online order to go, and it was ready at the quoted time. There's a well marked pick up/to go door that made it easy to park and pop in quickly - very efficient. We got boneless wings with Buffalo sauce and the new House BBQ sauce, with ranch for dipping, and the kids Pepper Pals cheesy chicken pasta with broccoli. Just meh. This was a very busy Chili's with only available seating was at the bar. Not a problem normally but the gal was too busy to keep up. There was a long wait to be acknowledged, long wait to order, long wait to our ticket. The bar needed wiped down. The margarita special was good and sweet but the sugar calories weren't worth consuming with so little alcohol. I feel like I'm saying this more and more with adult beverages. I don't drink a lot so typically one drink will give me a buzz. The previous Chili's I had visited, didn't skimp on the tequila! We ordered a variety of appetizers as our meal but everything came out at different times and I forgot to take pictures! Everything about this visit was just OFF. I have been coming to this Chili's location for many years and normally do not have many issues. I recently drove about an hour to come dine here with my family and was treated very disrespectfully by the General Manager, Jim Glenbocki. We had six people and the table we were seated at was very small and uncomfortable to fit six people. We asked to be seated at a slightly larger table and were told that this section was "closed." Our server was very nice and stated she would not mind taking care of us at the table 15 feet behind us, but Jim told us there was no way he could accommodate this request. He stated the small table was for six people and he would not allow us to move. He had a very "smart" attitude and was not professional at all in dealing with the simple request. We waited in the car for almost an hour with no notification, so we went in and they said our notification was never sent. SO that was frustrating. Wait times and staffing are an issue. Quoted 20-25 minutes when checked in. At 40 minutes I asked about how much longer to expect and was told another 30 minutes because the manager instructed them to stop seating. I understand that issues arise but clearly the system was not working properly. This and there was no communication from the staff. By the time I got any information we wasted too much time when if properly notified we could make a change of plans without too much impact. Staff was very pleasant. My carryout order of BabyBack Ribs was a huge disappointment, the ribs were overcooked, dry and tough, the asparagus was way undercooked and not seasoned. On a good note, the loaded mashed potatoes were delicious. Our previous visit the ribs were tender and fell off the bone. It is obvious that the standards are not being met. The service at Chili's in Macedonia is truly terrible. I've gone many times and it only gets worse. Every server, even the bartenders, have terrible attitudes and seem to be annoyed that you even want to visit their establishment. There's always a long wait, and the most recent time I went, they brought me the wrong food and when I told them that, the server said, "what do you want me to do about it?". i absolutely love chilis but this one is sub par at best. our waiter wasn't very friendly and didn't see us until about 20 minutes after we sat down despite it being a wednesday and pre-dinner rush. i got a triple dipper and my boyfriend got a steak. he ordered his steak medium rare, but it came out well done. my food was good other than the dirty oil taste my chicken tenders had. our waiter never once checked on us nor provide us refills. we ended up paying our check on the self serve machines because our waiter wouldn't come back to the table. if you have the option, perhaps go to another chilis in the area as this one seems to be a step below the others. read more

What a terrible experience. We placed an order for two for carry out, which included three margaritas. Our order was ready on time but upon arriving home, we realized our order was missing the drinks. We called and the manager was very nice over the phone. She offered a free desert to come back and pick up the drinks. We drove back to pick up. Not only were the drinks not ready but they were made classic style and we had ordered frozen. While waiting to pick them up, another gentlemen came in, also missing his drinks. The told him he'd have to wait and it was clear they weren't about to get it any time soon. I haven't been here in awhile. It used to be so good. Our waitress was very kind and nice but not tentative enough. We ordered the bottomless chips, finished one and just wanted a second before we ordered our meals, so we put that in. We never got them and received our entrees before hand and asked for them again. Didn't receive them for another 10 min after we had received our entrees. I was never given a refill of my water as well. I ordered the Bacon Rancher Burger which is supposed to have 6 slices of bacon, house made ranch dressing, American cheese on each patty, onions, and pickles. It was so greasy that my bottom bun had become a soggy piece of bread which was not great, it had no ranch on it, only 1 slice of bacon and no onions or cheese. Now I had just glanced at this menu item so I thought maybe the patties were ranch infused and the other toppings weren't apart of it. So I didn't bother to ask about it. I know, I know... "why would you go to Chili's in the first place?" The answer is I'm a west sider & didn't really know where else to go. This location is probably the worst chain restaurant I've ever been to for a myriad of reasons. 1) There were 10 tables open, but a 30 minute wait. I get it, the kitchen was probably getting a little backed up & you don't want to double sit someone. However, 30 minutes is pretty insane. "Why didn't you just leave?" Well, see above & honestly.... there's not that many options in Macedonia to be honest :/ (don't @ me). 2) The service is garbage. Our server wasn't the absolute worst but only because she was nice. But the other times I have gone no one cares & "they're super busy" but NO ONE is hustling and bustling. It's like the same pace whether it's empty or slammed. I was impressed though because this one server was taking some HEAT from this lady because the wait to get food was insanely long & she was obviously upset. The server did a good job calming the situation. 3) The kitchen is garbage. They truly are the ones causing 99% of the issues. They can't keep up with orders regardless of the time of day & it took forever to get a medium well burger & quesadilla to us. Also the quesadilla was definitely overcooked but I guess it's better than undercooked. The quality isn't awful, I mean it's a Chili's so calibrate yourself, but it's not "very good." 4) I'll still go to other Chili's locations if I'm in a pinch or trying to have a Michael Scott moment, but I'm definitely not coming back to this one. Stopped in for a happy hour drink and to dine this week. Have been to this location in Macedonia many times over the years. Always has been one of the highlights of my trips...not this year. Went in after 3 pm and was told happy hour was only for people sitting at the bar. Never have I heard of that before. Makes no sense....what do you have happy hour for a few customers and unhappy hour for the rest of your clients? Ordered both boneless and chicken wings with bone in. Took forty five minutes to get the order, and was presented with two orders of boneless wings....which the server knew was wrong the second she put it on the table. So, she told me she would get the fresh order done with the bones in. Bit into the boneless wing and it was, at best, barely warm. It must have been sitting in a cold breeze in the kitchen or something. Not good. When the other order of wings came, I took one bite and almost yacked. The chicken inside was not even slightly cooked. It was pink and there was a shiny gel on the bone. Server apologized, which was nice but hardly fixed the issue. It was food poisoning waiting to happen. No offers to help remedy the situation. Got the bill (no happy hour pricing) and left......and chances of going back are pretty slim. I looked other feedbacks about this. So much bad feedbacks for this year, 2016-2017. It makes me feel concerned but I tried to encourage myself and was very curious to find out how's chili's than ignoring it. I admitted.. right now, this is improving much better. They have super nice servers. My friend and I travel to Rochester, New York from Nashville, Tennessee. That's where we stopped at Chili's and take a rest little. Maybe both of lunch and dinner time won't hurt. Believe me, you can go there and enjoy! This service is excellent. The food is extremely delicious. I don't see any problems on food.
