I had a very good experience here while dining with my husband and some family. We had not been here in years, and were happy to see the quality had not changed. The only disappointment for me was discovering that the goat cheese guacamole was no longer a menu item. That was my very favorite thing to order! The tacos were very fresh (loved the pork w/ pineapple and cilantro aioli) and we loved filling out a card to make our own creative taco selections without feeling rushed by placing verbal orders. I ordered the skinny Margarita and thought it was very tasty. Regarding service, our server was extremely friendly and helpful in answering some menu related questions. This barrio location is definitely not the best. It can be hit or miss in my experiences here. Service is usually pretty quick, I've noticed busier nights usually means faster service which is not the norm. One great perk is there's tons of parking nearby. read more

I identify as a burrito man. I almost never order tacos at restaurants because they are small and don't last too many bites. Visiting from out of town, I had to trust my sister and order a few taco specials. Delicious flavors and huge portions! The flavors they used were aggressive, heavily seasoned, and memorable. One taco impressed me because it superimposed a toasted tortilla inside the taco, stealing crunchwrap vibes. Gave it great texture! They have a pencil-and-paper, sushi restaurant type ordering system which felt a bit overwhelming and like homework, so I'd recommend just checking off a few tacos from the specials list and calling it a day. The service was pretty good, but either from inexperience or perhaps sneaky intentions, they doubled the number of tacos we ordered on the bill. I door dashed the El Jefe Loco bowl with chips and this was packed with flavor. My first time ordering and honestly I will order this again. The chips were fresh and they went great with the bowl. I've been to several Barrio locations, but this was my first time at this one. The service was great, and the food was just as good as I expected! The Mango margarita with a Tajín rim is always a win. I love building my own tacos, and the steak is definitely my go-to. And if you're a salsa fan, the salsa roja is the best--I didn't grab any this time, but you can purchase a jar to take home! Overall, a solid spot I'd definitely visit again. read more

We came after playing a game in a near by stadium. Barrio is a good concept, with fresh ingredients to create delicious tacos and bowls. The main concept is build your own, with different shells, proteins, veggies, and salsa. Possibilities are endless with the combos. They start you off with some warm chips and fresh salsa. Our service was good and the atmosphere is casual with a Hispanic flare. Its a good spot for sure. Downtown Hudson is a great little town. I have two comments about this place. They need a real menu with real choices. Filling out a piece of paper is ridiculous. It did not save time as it took forever to get our food. Second, the single use restroom should be improved. Put a stall around the toilet and it is a restroom that can handle three people. Single use restrooms are an automatic down grade. read more

We had a great experience at the Hudson location. Our server, Austin, was so helpful and friendly and helped us pick out some really good food. I like how you can easily make substitutes to your order and they have a build your own tacos/bowls too to cater to whatever your dietary needs are. The service was fine except for the point that they refilled our chips once and came back and gave me a drink. Once after even after I'd asked five times started fine. We were chilling. We got chips. We got drinks, but then we ordered it took a full football game about two hours for us to get our food. Food is okay but they serve cold toppings ICE cold. They probably chipping the ice off before putting them on. So that means if your food sits in the back for any length of time, the protein gets cold as well. So as you could imagine, we waited nearly an hour for our food while watching others around us who were seated after us get their food with one group even checking out. When we asked, "Oh look at that, your order just came up!" Bro, the tacos were like you made them the day before and put them in the fridge then served them without heating anything up. When we complained to the manager, she said yeah taco toppings are cold. Bo offer to comp drinks, free tacos next time. Not even for the ridiculous wait time. Terrible food, worse customer service. Barrio is a fav for our family. We usually go to a different location by us but we're in the area and stopped by for dinner. Pretty sure we'll stick to our location and drive the extra to get there. The hostess sat us and we waited and waited AND WAITED... watched 4 more tables get seated, get drinks and place their order. We were just about to leave and a guy stopped by to ask if we've had any service... we said no, nothing. He scurried to get our drinks and gave our order sheets to the waitress.... The service level remained less than desirable through the whole dining experience. Biggest struggle... watching the manager lean on the wall by the hostess looking at us not getting service. This is a great spot!! I'm a huge Barrio fan and couldn't wait to try this location. The food was amazing (as it always is) and of course the margaritas were on point! Our server was very nice & gave us just the right amount of attention. Only issue I had was the bathroom only being one stall, but other than that good job Barrio you did it again and made yet another great spot to enjoy the best tacos & margaritas in Ohio! read more

Our group stopped in after a class in Hudson. We took 4 seats at the bar and then another 4 at a table adjacent to the bar. We were talking amongst ourselves and the manager cam over and told us we were being too loud. Mind you, the restaurant was pretty full with people talking and the music was blasting. he was rude and disrespectful. We decided not to spend our money there and left.
