Rare indeed is the company that is family-run and honorable; I am happy to say that Wendel is one such company. Our goal was to build a screened-in room over an existing patio. We interviewed several contractors, including one well known company that specializes in such projects. Their bid was so outrageously high and beyond the scope of what was needed that it was almost laughable. Fortunately, we found Wendel and what a good find it was. Their proposal was just what we wanted and their price was more than reasonable. We are delighted with the finished room and highly recommend this gem of a company.

So last year when my husband and I decided to add a second floor in our house we called Four Decades and were blown away with the results. Again this year, we called them again for a full remodel of our kitchen, work in our backyard and opening up a seperate entry to our basement and again they did an amazing job. I wanted to thank you guys again for making our home construction project such a great success.  This was our first big renovation in our home so there was a lot riding on it, and you and your team made it a real pleasure. You and your team handled each challenge extremely well, from the schedule, our demands, our expectations and the stress of us living in a house while being fully renovated. The most impressive thing to me was when your team came across a challenge, they always came to me with a viable solution.  From the start of the process to the finish, it went very smoothly. I was also impressed with the professionalism of the team and also pricing was fair and I must say well worth it with the quality of the results, specially the finishing. I highly recommend Four decades contracting inc. it was a pleasure working with not only Tim, but Kevin, Timmy, Mark, Carlos, Sam and Chris. A great Team. I look forward to working with you guys on future projects. Thank you.

The original plan was to repair the brick steps and landing at our front door, which had been damaged over the harsh winter. In consultation with Nick -- the son of this father-son-run business -- we turned a routine repair job into a redesign plan that turned out beautifully without pushing the price point! Nick is skilled, knowledgeable and creative enough to seamlessly repair all cracks and vulnerabilities while also adding blue stone as step-toppers. Nick Giroffi Masonry also spruced up our walkways, front and back, with a power wash, followed by the renewal and upgrade of the sand between the bricks. They did a good job with our deck as well. This company earns our praise and trust for not only a job well done, but also for replying quickly to our first call, scheduling the work within a reasonable time frame, and keeping communication open from start to finish. We wish Nick and his company well going forward and will turn to them again as needed. We recommend Nick Giroffi Masonry for any brick or concrete jobs anyone may have.

They are absolutely as good as their word--reliable, honest, and committed to doing the job right. With them, what they promise is practically "set in stone"--solid, dependable, and built to last. The timeframe was given 4 months for a large renovation and somehow finished on time as I was not expecting things to go as smoothly as they did. Barry was my project manager and was visiting numerous times a week to make sure everyone was on the job site and seeing if anything was needed. This gave me a piece of mind that someone was assisting me when I had questions. Definitely had a ton of them. Some items I ordered were delayed and defective, but the team was wonderful in not delaying anything and not having any excuses not to be working. I think the biggest part of my recommendation is that they are Efficient, Well-Organized, and the quality was something I am very pleased with. Timing was great, but I don't feel like any corners were cut during the renovation. The back office with Jenn & Brigid kept me posted on who was coming to the site, and what to expect for each week the house was rebuilt.
