But after meeting the team at A to Z Renovations, I finally felt confident I was in good hands. They were on point, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented throughout the entire project. Every step was handled with care and clear communication. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and I felt completely comfortable from start to finish. I honestly feel blessed to have found them. Trust is everything when you're doing a renovation, and A to Z truly delivered on every level. I highly, highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future.

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

if I could give them a zero I would. Four years ago, All Island Restoration worked on our whole…read moredownstairs of our home after a flood we had in the kitchen. we needed our floor replaced because the water warped our pergo floor. When it was time to pick our flooring, my husband and I went looking for a floor in our given price range. We went to Home Depot and Floor and Decor and picked out flooring that we liked. Alexis kept telling us that she had a place for us to pick out flooring and kept avoiding talking about flooring we like from other companies. Since we were into the project for approximately 8 months already due to COVID, we decided to go with her contact. We wound up picking a floor with their contact, but we're concerned about how thin the flooring was since it was going over tile that was under our original pergo We were told not to worry about it and that they would make sure that everything was done right. About a month after install, the floor started buckling. We callEd All Island to ask Jay, the owner to come take a look at the floor. He said it would cost us $7,000 to redo the floor. We explained that we had reservations about putting this thin floor in, given our circumstances and that Alexis assured us that it would be fine and they'd take care of it. Jay told us flat out that he would replace it for another $7,000. Since then the floor has been separating in many places and even sticking up. We cut our feet on it and my husband had to tape it down. Since we only looked at samples and don't know the company they got this floor from, we have no warranty on it and have to redo the entire floor ( in four rooms of my home) costing us $9,000 more only four years later. The reason we waited these few years was because we knew it was going to cost a lot to redo this floor. Now we are in the process of getting it done right at a big cost. Home Depot professions said they don't even sell less than 8mm thick flooring, but All Island installed 5mm even after our concerns. I have many pictures of this disaster. When Jay visited us, he went around our kitchen kicking the planks to close up multiple gaps. The flooring was a big part of this disaster, but there is way more that happened with the crew that was working on our project. Paint splatter on our brand new windows and screens, holes left in corners of the room, kitchen cabinet handles screwed in crooked, grout started falling out of the backsplash tiles, and I could go on. Wish they would have done right by us.

I took a leap of faith from the reviews on Yelp and can't be happier that I decided to go with…read morethem--and so is my husband. We needed our master bathroom completely gutted and refinished (bad water damage from a busted pipe) and while my other half and I are usually up for doing it... we ran out of steam halfway through gutting because there is just so much other stuff in our lives at this time that we needed help. Like everyone else said, clean, efficient, price is more than reasonable, work is absolutely solid, and gives amazing recommendations when I ask about their opinion on aesthetics. Usually on time or early, if plans change they let me know way ahead of time. They also care about the longevity of their work (an example would be coming to me and letting me know I should buy a metal hose rather than use the one provided with the washer/dryer unit.) They started last Monday and had the rough done by that Thursday during which time they started the tile work--anyone whose done any DIY construction knows the rough takes the longest and they were able to start the finish work that same week. No one tried to upsell me on anything, or recommend work I didn't need done unless I specifically asked/requested. It was all about what my vision of what I wished the bathroom to look like and that is really important to me. My husband took one look at everything they did so far (he's a perfectionist, to put it lightly) and was extremely impressed--he had quite a bit of anxiety about not being able to finish it ourselves but it put him at ease when he saw the skill and care they put into making it our (my) dream bathroom. The workmanship is excellent, and they are meticulous about doing it right. Because of this, I also contacted them to work on another property I have in Queens, and again, the price of which was reasonable and since I trust their work, it was a no brainer to go with them again.

I can't say enough nice things about Voitek and his crew…read more They were efficient, clean and so polite! The quality of work is par none (and I have felt with a lot of constructors!). European charm and craftsmanship, on time and on budget. Highly recommended.
