Dealerships are a Dime a Dozen.... This one might be Quarter a dozen! I wanted to test drive the MME prior to putting a order in for one then waiting months to get one. I called over to Dorian and was setup with Colette in Sales and was greatly helpful throughout the whole process. She said she had one on the lot and to come on in ASAP to test drive before it's gone. I went test drive and we spoke after on the process of ordering when the banks open. While waiting patiently for the order banks to open Colette was always responsive to my emails on getting information about the dates. Once ordered the wait began... I received emails through the waiting period about my order and when the time arrived to pickup the vehicle Colette was still very responsive to everything I've requested. If she didn't know the answer she found someone to give me the answer and didn't make something up. On the day of signing everything was ready and lasted less than 5 mins, everything was ready and on tablets not paper to sign. If everyone is like Colette over at Dorian then it will definitely be my go to dealership for repairs and future purchases! Thank you again for a great experience with the process! read more

Bought a used car for my child that was claimed to be "safe," but the dealership failed to disclose prior engine work. After 4.5 months, gas fumes appeared and our mechanic found oil leaks, a transmission leak, and a worn catalytic converter. The dealership only offered overpriced repairs (double what our mechanic quoted) and a trade-in $4,500 less than what I paid. The service manager was defensive, and their repair wasn't even cleaned properly -- I had to pay out of pocket to fix remaining issues. Very dishonest and disappointing experience. But since your service will take so long and be such an inconvenient, expensive experience, just save yourself the therapy and aggravation and stay away! The Service department looks to be populated by group of children who don't know the first thing about what keeping customer in the loop means. Expect to hear plenty of excuses of why you weren't informed of where your vehicle is and when it will be ready to pick up. Remember, it's your fault that they couldn't find the time to call for what's going on. My lady friend purchased a brand new Escape only to have multiple problems immediately (window motor, acceleration and transmission). The dealer then refused to give her a loaner due to her insurance?? Then the dealer damaged the windshield and blamed it on her! This was days after it was turned in for the fix. I pulled around the building to find out that I needed an appointment for their quick lube. What the hell is wrong with businesses today, they must not want new customers. How about you? I had to sit on this review for a minute since I have bought so many cars from Dorian and love my salesman. Reason for 1 star? We took delivery of a vehicle last week that had a problem within 5 miles of driving it off the lot. We called and expressed concern and asked for a different vehicle to swap out since our travel time is about 2 hours. We were directed to service where they agreed to resolve the problem and gave us a loaner. A week later we go back to get the new car again and a very upset service advisor, cussing and swearing, tells us the vehicle has another error message and we cannot take it off the lot. Gave us another loaner and said to call back after the holiday weekend, another week. I called the dealer and AGAIN asked for a new vehicle to replace the faults of this one, I asked to speak to the owner and left a message for Carolyn. Had a call back the next day from a very happy Mark Champ that I found extremely annoying with a very condescending tone regarding replacement, which wasn't going to happen on a vehicle with 20 miles on it. I guess Carolyn was too busy to call. I left her another message and did get a call back today. Same story, no buy back but they "think" they can fix the car and get it back to us next week. The vehicle is considered used now and has depreciated since it has been titled. The dealership would loose money if they bought the car back and used it for their fleet or as a transport vehicle. Well the money loss now comes from a "former" customer that will not continue with myself or my family buying vehicles from Dorian Ford. Our history there and the number of vehicles we have bought is too many to count. Customer satisfaction goes a long way and this dealer fell way short. read more

I went to pick up my car after they said they fixed it. I wanted to try the car's back up sensors etc, they won't let me try the car without paying my insurance deposit. they said I can take off with the car. Guess what I paid the insurance deposit and went to try the sensors and they weren't working like I assumed. I regret bringing the car to this dealership. Unfortunately, I had a very upsetting recent experience with Dean, the parts manager at Dorian. My previous experience with the service department was very good. However, I had a problem with a new battery that Dean sold to me back into 2019. The battery went dead over the winter even though it was being regularly charged. I called Dean and had to leave several messages just to get him to call me back. When he finally did call me back he was quite curt and said he was too busy to talk because of inventory and acted like I was bothering him. He went to complain that he had to work the weekend too. Said to call him back in a week which I did. I thought that a long time to wait but I had no choice. When I did call him back a week later, I again had to leave two more messages over two days. No call back. Week three I left another message and he finally called back acting as though he only received one message from me. No apology for the long wait to speak to him. He said the battery was just out of warranty and there was nothing he could do regarding a replacement. He could have told me that day one instead of making me wait nearly 3 weeks. This battery is for my Thunderbird which I wanted to drive during the summer and not have to wait 3 weeks for the parts manager to me back. What I found the most upsetting is that when I went to remove the dead battery I noticed it has a date code on the side that said 7/13..! I didn't see it until I removed the battery. Also the bar code was scratched out and a "Dorian" sticker was placed over the bar code. Basically, he gave me battery that was 6 years old according to the store manager that sold me a new battery at O'Relly Auto. That certainly explains why the battery failed only after a short time. O'Reily said they rotate their battery stock regularly to make sure the batteries are always fresh. As I say, I was very upset with this recent experience at Dorian. I would appreciate speaking to Dorian's upper management or preferably Mr.Dorian about this experience. read more

I will say however that Dean Wrubel, the car salesman Is a pretty good guy and he was very caring of the situation at hand he did try to fix the mistake but your manager (Tony McCain.... don't know if i spelled that correctly) is a HORRIBLE employee, VERY VERY rude and unprofessional and honestly seems like he just does not care for your customers or even cares for his job. My brother and his buddies, their friends and family have been customers of yours for a very long time and they all will never do business with you again. When your employees clear codes on a car to sell it (which is illegal from what I've been informed by lawyers and other well known dealerships) it will not show up on a scanner for codes. And admitting that your business or employees rather do not check for road safety inspections TWICE by TWO different employees is HIGHLY illegal. I am not pursuing this situation any farther but you should know that you are loosing business from this horrific situation that ALMOST (thankfully it didn't) killed me and my family. If I were you speaking on a business matter i would really reevaluate your employees and how your business is ran. I'm really glad that you like to point out the "as is" feature just as i have although you should be more worried about the safety of your customers and how your employees treat your customers. We just bought a $ 14,000 car from a neighboring dealership and i am so happy they got the business and the sale instead of Dorian Ford. This time I will not be back, made an appointment a month in advance and then took it in and they had my car for a week without a call back so I called...they still hadn't really looked at it! Service department is very disappointing: Despite being a loyal long time Ford customer, Dorian Ford treats you like a second class citizen if your vehicle was purchased elsewhere. I was scheduled for service more than one month in advance and yet was informed upon the day my service was to occur, they may not be able to service my vehicle in a timely manner and suggested I take it back to to the original purchasing dealer. I have experienced a lack of customer service attitude on two other occasions at the service department. Vehicle warranty work is revenue for any dealership. I'm going to make a long story short. My grandfather worked for for so I've always exclusively driven ford trucks. Bought a 2013 F-150 brand new. Had to bring it in to Dorian for check engine light. Was told $3000-$7000 or a new engine. Major problem for a vehicle with less than 80000 miles that was serviced regularly. Decided to take a below market trade in on my truck and lease my wife a new eco sport ($28k). I wanted purchase a new f-150, but couldn't get one in my price range. Ended up buying a 2016 lariat with approximately 34000 miles ($35k). Almost exactly 2 months after purchasing the truck and being 709 miles over my bumper to bumper, the compressor for the ac blows up (major service issue that shouldn't happen before 37k miles). Get it towed to Dorian, $1800 to fix. I'm none too happy. Go back into Dorian, my salesmen quit. Ended speaking/ interacting with Mark (new car sales manager), Carolyn (owner), Shawn (service manager) and Roxanne (assistant service manager). It took some back and forth, but in the end we did come to a resolution on the service charge that I could live with. I have to give credit where credit is due.
