On my car search, this dealership stood out to me far beyond all others in my experience, solely because of their customer service. I walked in on a Saturday morning to look at Kias and possibly test drive a car or two. Brian M. approached us and was very respectful, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy for a sale. I used to get oil changes here and loved the cheap prices and great service. Recently, the service seems to have gone downhill considerably. I live a half hour away but I come to this location because it's the closest Kia dealership to me, and I also felt they offered better quality oil changes. Over the past few months I've come in for simple, routine oil changes and I've either had to wait an hour and a half to up to two hours just to pull my car in. A few times I've been turned away completely and told to go to another oil change center. Once, I was told to come back another day making my hour drive all for nothing when I desperately needed my car looked at. I work and attend school full time so I don't have the option of coming during the day when they're the slowest, but I always try to come in at least three to four hours before they close. I don't know if they're understaffed or if the real problem is they just don't care about giving proper customer service anymore. Edit: I must be an absolute moron because I decided to give them another chance. They have a deal going for 2-wheel alignment, and I thought why the hell not? I disclose that I was told during my last oil change that I need new ball joints, but unfortunately I can't afford them at the moment. Well, 20 minutes later I'm told that I need all this extra work done, and they can't do my alignment until then. Still got charged 25 bucks for the mechanics to tell me something I told them 20 minutes earlier. Unbelievable. read more

After having dealt with a horrible car dealership when purchasing my last vehicle, I was super nervous and apprehensive about this place. However, I chose it because I was looking for a reasonably priced used Kia Optima with lower mileage, and found one here. Also, I just prefer buying from a dealership because of the certified pre-owned status and the warranty, and feeling comfortable about my purchase overall. It was about an hour drive, but we made the trek to check out this car and hopefully buy it. I should also add that I was desperate for a car as my last one was involved in a car accident, so this was something I needed ASAP. I didn't have much time to research and peruse options. I became focused on the Kia Optima because of their excellent crash rating and manufacture warranty, and the fact that I prefer to drive a mid-size vehicle. Online, I found a blue 2017 Optima with very low miles that was basically brand new, at this dealership. I called, and they were able to work with me on getting things started over the phone. That way, when I got there, I could just test drive the vehicle and make a decision to leave with it that day or not. Needless to say, I bought the car (this was a couple months back) and my car salesman Kola was AWESOME and friendly and helpful and worked so hard to make sure I was happy with my new Kia. Two of the tires had defects, so they replaced them for me at purchase with new ones for free obviously. They also buffed out a couple scrapes on the front end. Finally, they sent me a thank-you package with cookies a short while after buying! That really blew my mind as they really went above and beyond any of my standard customer service expectations. In short, I felt this dealership was honest, helpful, and full of friendly staff, and I'm grateful they helped me as much as they did. My Kia is still running great! Good car. DONOT EVER GO TO THIS DEALSHIP !! Absoloutely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior ! We had called the dealership an hour prior to our arrival to check out a used Kia Sorento . When we arrived at the dealership after driving 2 hours, to our great surprise the car was nowhere to be found. Tom,our sales person finally located it at the cleaners after a 30 min wait time and, we had to drive 10 mins to go to the different location ( i.e ... the cleaners )and test drive the car( Firstly, as a customer you expect that the car is ready and on location when you are calling beforehand to set up an appointment to checkout the car. Secondly, you DONOT have paying customers drive to the cleaners to checkout a car ... you have the car bought down from the cleaners or you let us know and reschedule the appointment.... that's why we SCHEDULE an appointment !! ... Duh !! It really isn't rocket science ! ) ... we didnot see the other red Kia Sorento since we already have a red car and didn't want another red car, which we very clearly communicated with Tom. Never the less,  we spent a few hours at the dealership and finalized the deal on the white Kia Sorento and then drove back home . On reaching home , we get a call from the manager that the white Kia Sorento, that we spent half the day checking out was actually sold yesterday ! He told us that this happens and our sales person has been working really hard for us ( when we asked not to work with him anymore) !! ..... Seriously?? Are you kidding me ? That's like the FIRST thing to check .... if the car is sold or not !! ( And what he means by " it happens" is .... I am guessing...we are not the first people coming to this place to have such a thing happen to them !). And now they are working on getting ready the red Kia sorento for us to check out when we explicitly told them that we DIDNOT want a red car in the first place!! When I did say that I didn't wish to see this car,he also argued with us on how the car is a " sangria " and not really "a red " .... ..... really ?? He also said that the most he can do for us is to let us know if the deal falls through. Unbelievable !! Just unbelievable ! We will not be coming back for sure and are writing this review so that all future customers are forewarned and do not waste their time with this place .Go there at your own risk !  Serra Kia dealership in Washinton MI .... a hundred times thumbs down for this terrible customer experience  !! read more

Purchased a 2019 Kia Stinger GT on July 2nd and regretting driving over an hour to buy from them. We first test drove a 2019 Stinger GT at Feldman Kia in Novi but was white with the 19" wheels. My wife wasn't to keen on the white and found one in micro blue at Serra. According to the add online it was the same model as we tested but in micro blue. We drove to the dealership and bought the car. In the excitement of the purchase, we didn't realize it had the 18"wheel all season wheel option on it until we had reached home. We got in touch with Keith, our salesman, in regards to us wanting the model with the 19's. Keith's reaction was not what we were expecting. He basically said the add was a typo and continue to tell us that in this region they only come in 18's. When we informed him that when we called Kia hotline, we were told that the Gt comes with the 19 as standard with the option of getting the 18's. The representative also added, in our region, we get more of the 18's but also get the models with the 19's. He tried to make us feel inferior by saying" I've been a salesman for this amount of years and I know what I'm talking about. With only owning the vehicle for less then 2 months it's had issues with it not starting 3 times in which one of those stranded me on highway 696 in the middle of rush hour traffic. I had to get it towed to Feldman Kia and has been there since 7/15. When I reached out to Keith to see if I can get any help, he stated "Well what do you want us to do about it? I'll let my manger know and he will call you". We've reached out to Kieth and,the sales manager, Fernando but our cries for some kind of help has gone unanswered. They were so nice before the sale, took our money and closed the door behind us. read more

I got my car here 4 yrs ago and always took my car here to be serviced. I never had any issues with the place and liked the rates on the oil change. But here lately every time i take my car to get an oil change i leave with problems. Last time i had my tires rotated..i leave and my steering wheel was shaking uncontrollably, took it back and they said i needed a new tire. Take my car again to get oil changed and i get asked if i wanted tires rotated it was a $5 special, i say yes and leave with the same thing steering shaking. The lady says i probably need a new tire or that possibly they weren't balanced. Well why would you rotate my tires and leave them unbalanced? She says it would have cost more... More than what? Driving home with my car shaking or possibly causing more damage to tires. Plus i travel a good distance to come to the establishment. I feel like it's time to take my business somewhere else. Sad to because being a single female i always felt i could trust this place but it seems as though that's a thing of the past here now! read more

I would have to agree with Agnes review. I purchased my Kia here over 3 years ago, initially the service was great. Lately they are very not organized. Customer keys laying all over the desk. My most recent visit for an oil change, I checked the oil when I got home and it was black. IMO they didn't put fresh oil in my car! I have noticed their are always new employees, they have a high employee turn over rate. I think the Kia dealership is the "step child" and GM dealership next door is their main focus.
