The manager told me I still had a lot of life in the brakes and there was no need to replace them yet, and there was no charge for the inspection. I recently stopped by Morgan's Auto Service after my wife was involved in a minor car accident…read more There was a piece of plastic from the other vehicle lodged in the rim of the tire, and it looked like it could have punctured the bead. Since I didn't want to risk pulling it out myself and ending up with a flat tire in my driveway (which is only a few houses away), I brought it in for a quick check. To their credit, they took a look right away, removed the plastic, and re-inflated the tire. The whole process was quick and the staff was courteous. That said, I was charged $75, which they have posted in the front office as a diagnostic fee. I had essentially diagnosed the issue myself when I saw the large piece of plastic sticking out of the tire, so the charge felt a bit high for what turned out to be a simple fix. While I was paying, I asked what they would charge to mount and change a tire, and I was told $30--which made the $75 charge feel even more out of proportion. Overall, I appreciate the prompt service and professionalism, but I did walk away feeling a little undervalued as a customer given the simplicity of the issue.

I was an hour from home and my car started making the WORST sound after driving on a dirt road. It sounded like the worst grinding and screeching of brakes when I would drive. I called the shop and told him my issue and he said he was full today but could drive it and see if he could figure out what was wrong. As soon as he heard the sound he said "sounds like you got a rock stuck in there". I asked if he thought he could fix it tomorrow if I left it there overnight. When he heard I lived an hour away he made room to get me in today and sure enough, it was a rock stuck in my caliper. Fantastic service and very reasonable! So happy this shop was nearby!

I'm not happy that I was charged 100% more than the cost of the part from the Mazda dealership. I don't object to a small up charge but double the price is excessive! I took care of the suspension problems and brought it back at a discounted price.even then the alignment is still of and I'd rather just go somewhere else then have them attempt it a 3td time, also had them balance some tires for me.. after picking up the car they said the tires weren't capable of being fully balanced and still charged me for the balancing, any good shop will call you to inform you of tire problems before performing a balance. they also broke a hub spacer on the process and failed to inform me, I drove the car home and now the rim is completely screwed. place is money over service and it couldn't be more clear.
