I've never had a bad experience and they stand by their work. Great Mechanics !!! Lou and his team. I don't need to go anywhere else.

Hugo's Garage - My need for good breaks and a working winch

Took my car to Hugo's over a couple of months ago for a blown out brakeline. Quoted me 150 per line…read moreand told me two would need to be replaced for 350 total, including the $50 inspection fee previously. When picking it up, I was also told they'd charge another $50 for bleeding the brakes, since they were "still squishy". After picking it up, I noticed my brakes still felt squishy, but figured with their experience and reassurance from the bleed it might've been my imagination. Last week another brake line blew out while going to the store. After looking at my brake lines with my mechanic, we both realized they only replaced one line, left the old rusty and cut line above the gas tank, didn't clean the distributor block and said nothing about the other lines about to go as well. After we installed new lines and flushed the brakes, we realized they also only bled one brake, the one their new line attached to for $50, while leaving air and old brake fluid in the other calipers. Today I visited Hugo's and confronted the owner, asking why I was charged double and why only one brake line was bled. He said, "That probably wouldn't happen and I'd have to look back at my paperwork..." After saying I could wait, he told me it probably wasn't around. Then when referencing the bleed, he stated "air should've only gotten in that one line". After being recommended to go here by a friend, I am insanely disappointed with the quality and lack of integrity. Would not recommend going here unless you want a possible sudden catastrophy and to get charged double what you got in return.
