There's a reason why I still come here for all my automotive needs and it can be summed up in one word: INTEGRITY. The Utica location is the absolute best one of them all in SE Michigan in my opinion. The staff is professional and courteous and they continue their MO of only providing the services you want and need without "finding" any issues with your vehicle. The staff is honest and the mechanics perform excellent service. I've had several services performed on my 25 year old car and it still runs smoothly. I've tried other locations in the past and the service just isn't the same. For the past few years, I've been devoted to this one in Utica. They're courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Although they're very busy with many repair bays, they can still do a fairly quick turn around on your repair. Their towing service has also come in handy once or twice. No matter the problem, Lakeside Auto Care is the place to go. Repairs are never cheap, and they never happen at a good time, but it's good to know that they'll get you back on the road quickly and efficiently.

My Mercedes had an ongoing problem of eating Drive Belts. I spent a lot of money replacing it twice…read moreby two different repair shops, along with idler pulleys and a power steering pump. When the belt started squeaking again, I was told I needed to replace the alternator. I was lucky enough walk into South Street Auto Repair. They diagnosed an oil leak was causing the squeak (not the alternator LOL). Drake stayed in touch with me daily, as they walked me through different diagnostics, repairs and costs. They fixed my squeaky belt, oil leaks, manifold leak and failed ignition coil. Brian my mechanic was very cleanly working on my car and paid attention to every detail. Finally, my exhaust is quiet, my belt is not squeaking and a slight engine hesitation that has been on going is resolved. I can't say enough good about this repair facility. I would have saved a lot of time and money if they were the first shop I would have been my first repair shop!!!
