Cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Javier helped us review our options and ultimately get us our dream vehicle. Chris, the finance manager, made the pricing and paperwork easy. No pressure whatsoever. read more

I had a decent experience with my salesperson, but everything after the handshake was a nightmare. I would leave 0 stars if I could! Doral Kia relies on exhaustion tactics and dishonest "errors" to squeeze money out of you. After agreeing on an all-in down payment, we were forced to wait 2.5 hours to see the finance manager. We literally had to pack our stuff and threaten to walk before they suddenly became "available." The real issues started in the finance office. Despite our clear agreement, the finance manager tried to sneak the 1st month's payment and tag/title/tax fees on top of my total out-of-pocket amount. I was so fed up at that point I walked out of his office, out the main door of the dealership, and got in my car to leave. The General Manager actually ran out to the parking lot to stop me, apologizing and re-confirming the original deal. When I sat back down for the 2nd time, the finance manager AGAIN tried to sneak in the fees. When I called him out, he removed them instantly without even checking with the GM, proving it was intentional. I eventually got the deal I wanted, but only because I fought for it and because I know to read every line of the contract. I feel sorry for anyone who gets duped by this dealership. This is my 5th Kia, first with Doral Kia, and my LAST with Doral Kia! read more

TLDR: John Escobar from Doral Kia treated my girlfriend and me extremely poorly after we made it clear multiple times that we were not interested in leasing a car that day. This was, without a doubt, the worst car-buying experience I have ever had. My girlfriend was contacted by John, who told us that Doral Kia could match the lease we currently have with a newer version of the same car for approximately the same monthly payment. We agreed to come in and look at the newer model, while also mentioning that we were interested in potentially looking at a hybrid. When we arrived, everything started off fine. We test-drove the vehicle my girlfriend initially wanted to see, but it was the base model and she wanted to see the next trim level. We looked around the lot for another vehicle, and eventually John found one that matched what she was looking for. Before going back to the dealership, I made it very clear to John that we were NOT interested in signing another lease that day and that we wanted to keep our options open. I even apologized and told him that I didn't want him to continue spending his time with us because we knew we weren't going to sign anything that day. He insisted on continuing to show us the vehicle, so we agreed. After returning to the dealership, John began discussing the lease price again. He initially said the payment would likely be higher because the vehicle was more expensive, but that he could potentially match our current payment. I politely declined and explained that my girlfriend and I wanted to speak with our financial advisor before making a financial commitment. Instead of accepting that answer, John repeatedly lowered the monthly payment and continued pressuring us to sign. He went from the initial offer to $400, then $390, and eventually $350 per month. Each time, I clearly told him no. During this conversation, his tone became increasingly aggressive, and he was essentially yelling at me while telling me that he was someone who "communicates very well" and that this was an incredible deal. He then tried to make me feel responsible for his having to explain to his GM why he didn't make a sale that day. He said he would have to go back into the office and explain that the price wasn't good enough, but that he could push his GM to get us the best possible deal. At this point, my girlfriend and I discussed it privately and again decided that we were not going to sign. John came back and asked, "You wouldn't sign for this car with a $350 monthly payment?" I said no because I didn't want to commit to another 36-month lease simply because the monthly payment was attractive. His response was, "Well, that tells me all I need to know." I explained that we still had eight months left on our current lease and that a lot could change during that time. I even told him that I might come back later and consider a more expensive vehicle depending on our financial situation. After this experience, I would not return. John then told me that negative things could happen during those eight months, which was supposedly another reason I needed to take the deal immediately. I told him that I prefer to think positively, and we left. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that John continued directing the entire conversation toward me while barely acknowledging my girlfriend, despite the fact that SHE was the person looking for the vehicle. My girlfriend left feeling extremely uncomfortable and said she never wants to go car shopping again or buy another Kia, despite absolutely loving her K5. I left feeling completely disrespected. John, you repeatedly talked about how important good customer service is and how people never forget good service. You're right. I will never forget this experience, but unfortunately, it won't be because of good service. No customer should feel pressured, belittled, or intimidated simply because they say no to a sale. We came in willing to consider a future purchase, but the way this interaction was handled ensured that we will not be returning to Doral Kia. read more

I have been kia customer for 8 years now. I was one of the first to get the telluride when it came out in 2019. I got my ev9 in 2024 and it broke down and was towed to doral kia for service. It's been 3 weeks and no news on my car. They don't answer my call nor they call back when i left a message. I asked for a 7 seater loaner or atleast an electric substitute but was given a sportage and now i have to pay for gas when i owned the electric so i never have to. They said to give me one when it'll be available but its been 2 weeks and Noone has reached out to me. Horrible service and customer support. read more

Horrible dealership for service. This location is an old bank so the service center isn't even in the building. You drop your car off and they have to drive it to a nearby Hyundai dealership to actually get it serviced. The inside is very cramped for both staff and the waiting room. They really prioritized the space for sales. I took my car in for service at 11am and it wasn't returned to me until 5:40. They had to order some parts which they said would take 3 days, but it took a whole week. When the parts came in, I was told I could come in the next morning for service, so I did exactly that. Turns out the mechanic in charge of my car wasn't in that day so they said I could leave it over the weekend but no guarantee that it would actually get fixed. I took it in today and it was finally fixed, but I dropped it off at 10am and again I had to wait till around 5:30pm to pick it up. Absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, I am never returning unless I absolutely have to. It would've been nice if I could have been granted a complimentary car wash or some discount on future service, but I didn't even get an apology for the troubles I went through. I was only gifted with the service people's trash in my car, like the plastic seat cover and service tag. I also had a damp rid bag in the trunk that they managed to break somehow and didn't say a word about it, and they forgot to retie down the trunk liner. read more

The service department leaves much to be desired. A free oil change ended up costing $248! Yes, we went for an oil change, and tire rotation and balance and spent $248 (First service for brand new car) Highway robbery. The same rotation and balance anywhere else is $79 and if in fact oil is free the math does not math. Avoid it at all cost, there are plenty of cheaper options without the bait and switch. read more

Shore a ad for this dealership on Carfax I called the number drove 2 1/2 hours in the rain and the car was still there. The list price was 19,000. The final price with the dealer add-ons was $26,000. They didn't make me I drove down there there's no way to verify if they have the cars that's advertised on Carfax or cars.com is the same problem. read more

I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding my recent vehicle purchase from Kia Doral. I purchased a 2026 Kia Sportage, which was priced at approximately $26,000. At the time of purchase, I provided a trade-in vehicle with an agreed value of $12,000. Based on this, my understanding was that the trade-in amount would be applied toward the purchase price, reducing the balance owed. However, despite providing a $12,000 trade-in, my final total after taxes and fees still amounted to approximately $26,000. This raises a serious concern, as it appears that the trade-in value was not properly applied to the transaction. If the vehicle itself was priced at $26,000, I am requesting clarification as to how my total remained the same and where the $12,000 trade-in credit was applied. Additionally, during the sale process, I was advised by the sales representative, Lillian, that my vehicle included oil changes for life. Relying on this information, I was surprised to later be required to pay out of pocket for an oil change, only to be told that this benefit was not included. This directly contradicts what was represented to me at the time of sale. Between the unexplained trade-in discrepancy and the misinformation regarding included services, I am extremely concerned about the accuracy and transparency of this transaction. I am formally requesting: 1. A detailed breakdown of my purchase agreement showing how the $12,000 trade-in was applied. 2. Written clarification regarding the final out-the-door price calculation. 3. An explanation regarding the oil change representation and why I was charged despite being told it was included for life. I expect this matter to be reviewed promptly and resolved accordingly. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to address these issues. Sincerely, Sabrina read more

This dealer has incredibly shady sales practices my mom went in and the finance manager erick mendoza told her that if she didn't get gap and lifetime oil changes her payment would actually be more expensive because it's a package now after getting the actual documents what this snake did was extend the loan an extra year this is a direct violation of the truth in lending act and we will see this through, also to add insult to injury, he put $1500 worth of gap??? when we quoted getting it added for $200 from another company, and $1000 for life time oil changes is another rip off. We have attempted to cancel this multiple times and keep getting the run around, oh and they blocked our number from calling what does that tell you? and it's just been a few days since we purchased this car. But we have everything recorded and will be seeking legal assistance steer clear of this place they're only motive is to take advantage of you and line their pockets. read more

One of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I came in with an appointment. It took 4 hours to get an oil change. The coffee machine was broken. The service cost almost $300.00 and my car was returned to me dirty. My service agent did her best but there was clearly a staff shortage and very poor communication. Please do not come here if you value your sanity. The smooth brain at the parts department didn't know how much transmission fluid my CVT took, so instead of finding out he just sold me the wrong amount just to get out of my way. So know I had to send my girlfriend back through horrible traffic to get more, when she got there he acted extremely "slow minded" and "condescending" in her words and tried to sell her an entire transmission. Absolutely no words for our experience here. Would not go within a couple miles of this place unless it was for warranty work. I'll be taking my business to Hollywood Kia after this. read more

I wish I'd have seen the reviews before going here. I life over 2 hours away. I negotiated a deal on a used Kia with this dealership making it abundantly clear that I didn't want to waste my time driving all that way if the deal didn't make sense. After hours of back and forth, a deal is agreed upon. Only when I arrive this dealership makes multiple attempts to change the deal, trying to add additional fees, trying to REQUIRE me to buy aftermarket coverages, trying to REQUIRE me to limit the amount of money down I can use on the car. It just really felt like they were intentionally trying to screw me around or scam me! This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had! read more

I was trying to buy a used car, i am a woman and they definitely tried to take advantage. I test drove the car, he came back with an itemized receipt of the offer. the salesman added a $2,000 LOJACK optional add on i never asked for, tried to charge me a $1,200 pre-delivery charge fee which is obscene, and a few other fees which I knew were way over the necessary amount they needed after my research. I told him I need to go over the fees and instead of removing the fees he said his manager was graciously willing to give me a $2,000 discount... I told him taking off a $2,000 add on I never asked for is not a "discount" and politely told him i would not be purchasing a car here. If you come here bring a man, they are gross. read more

Went to the dealer again and they told me that there was nothing they can do and that I had to take it with Goodyear. Financed a preowned 2024 Buick from this dealership and a week after getting it, an excruciating noise would happen any time I hit the break. I wanted to bring it in to get serviced and it has been absolute hell to try to get in contact with someone. I've left voicemails, emails and tried messaging them via the virtual chat online and I keep getting the same response "I apologize you haven't been contacted yet. Our internet teams are working to assist customers remotely and responses may be delayed. I will forward your information again and ask that you are contacted as soon as possible." It's been two week and I still cannot get anyone to get back to me. They are quick to throw $1500 on the bill to ensure everything is working correctly for the car but looks like it's just fluff and not as "intense" as they say it is. My recommendation is to go anywhere else to buy your car unless you're willing to deal with any issues yourself because I can promise you they won't be any help. read more

Maybe the staff was changed six months ago, but every review for the prior six months has been a negative review. My negative experience was with the management who promised to do something that he lied about. Doral Kia wanted me to purchase a car that had an air-conditioning problem, a knocking noise, and needed brake pads. They refused to fix that car but promised me the car would be sent to the repair shop on Monday. I was advised that if the car cost too much to repair, they would sell it at the auction, but i would be the first to know. Everyone knows that you would never get the same amount of money from an auction that you would get from a person financing a car, my problem is that I never heard anything back to date and that same car 2017 BMW gray 538i Grand Turismo is still online being advertised. Do not go to Doral Kia and do not purchase this car. The service at Doral Kia is horrendous and if you read, any other reviews you will notice the exact same trend on every review platform. They will ask you to call them to fix the problem, but they will not fix that problem. read more

They tried gluing my key back together but in the process the actually ended up cracking the key so they ended having to order a new one. I leased a 2023 Niro EV from this dealership in December. It was the worst experience I've ever had with any car financing in 30+ years of driving. It's really a mystery to me how they are still in business... Whenever I call them, they either don't answer or put me on hold forever. They don't do much better with email replies either (very late or not at all). If you get a vehicle from here be very careful since they will not give you any attention after you drive away. Even the lease document they provided on a USB thumb drive was corrupted (unreadable) and I had to ask them to provide another copy... it took over 2 weeks. Do your research online and see that other customers are saying many bad things about their honesty, communications, etc being far from professional. I have left a negative review on other platforms and the manager "responded" to save face and offered for me to contact him... guess what? I emailed him and there was NO response. The only 5 star reviews are because the sales associates beg customers to leave those reviews so that they get an incentive. I am still waiting for this dealership to fulfill their promises over a month later. read more
