A Tale of Two Departments: Excellence in Sales, Failure in Service
I purchased my vehicle from Lincoln Doral in 2023, and I cannot say enough positive things about the sales team. They were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I had an excellent buying experience. The sales department set a standard of service that made me a proud Lincoln owner and a loyal customer to this dealership.
Unfortunately, that loyalty has been completely shattered by the service department, and I am now forced to take my business--including the purchase of my next Lincoln in April 2026--to the Pembroke Pines location.
The Beginning of a Nightmare
In November 2025, I brought my vehicle to Lincoln Doral for routine maintenance. At that time it was recommended that I undergo a full tire replacement and an oil change. I was quoted one price over the phone, agreed to it, and authorized the work. When I received the invoice via text, there was a $150 increase with no explanation. When I questioned this discrepancy and requested an itemized invoice, I was met with evasiveness. Instead of providing documentation, Abdiel, the service advisor, sent a screenshot of a revised invoice with a "better price on the oil change" to offset the difference.
This was my first red flag. A professional establishment should be able to explain pricing clearly and provide itemized invoices without hesitation. To this day, I have never received the promised itemized receipt for this service--the first of many empty promises.
Five Occurrences, Zero Solutions
Within days of having my tires replaced, a "tire pressure sensor fault" warning light illuminated. I contacted Pembroke Pines (closer to my work), and after inspecting my vehicle and finding nothing wrong, they professionally advised me to return to Doral since they had just performed the tire service. What followed was a frustrating cycle that has now repeated five times:
Occurrence 1 (Late November 2024): Doral kept my vehicle for several days, claimed nothing was wrong, and reset the sensor.
Occurrence 2 (One week later): Sensor came on again. Vehicle kept for several days. Same response: nothing wrong, sensor reset.
Occurrence 3 (5-7 days later): Sensor returned. This time I requested to speak with the manager. Service Manager Christopher Leon told me "sometimes these things take time" and that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. When I asked about next steps for this recurring issue, he simply said to bring the car back when it happens again. No solution, no plan, no accountability.
Occurrence 4 (Days later): I contacted Lincoln corporate to open a case. From December 26, 2025 to January 5, 2026, my vehicle was at Doral service. When they called to say it was ready, they once again claimed nothing was wrong. I refused to pick up the vehicle without repairs, and corporate intervened. Corporate arranged for the sensor to be replaced at my expense with reimbursement to follow. However, when I spoke with Service Manager Chris directly, he assured me he would replace it at no charge.
On January 8, 2025, Service Advisor Abdiel called to say the car was ready. When I asked for confirmation the sensor was replaced, he stated "no, once again nothing was wrong and we could only reset the sensor." I immediately requested to speak with the service department manager and was transferred to David, who claimed he was unaware of any agreement to replace the sensor but he would inquire with the other manager Chris. The following day, David confirmed the sensor had been replaced on January 9th and the vehicle was ready for pickup.
Occurrence 5 (January 10, 2025): The very next day after picking up my "repaired" vehicle, the same sensor warning light came on again.
A Pattern of Disrespect and Dishonesty
When I contacted Abdiel to bring the vehicle in with the warning light on (as previously requested by him), he instead asked me to text him a photo and stated "there is no point in bringing the car now as there is no available tech and no loaners available"--despite the fact that every single occurrence is documented in my Lincoln app and I have photographic evidence of each warning. He promised the service manager would contact me Monday morning. As has become standard, I received no follow-up and had to reach out myself by midday Monday.
I once again requested a summary of all repairs and services performed on my vehicle--a reasonable request for any customer. Four hours later, Abdiel responded, completely ignoring my question, only to ask me to let him know when my vehicle was ready for pickup.
As of January 12, 2026, my sensor is on again (the fifth time), and I am still waiting for Abdiel to email me a copy of the documentation of "completed repairs" and to get back to me about when I can even drop off my vehicle or for him to pick it up for service. read more
