Such a fun dining experience! I absolutely loved the gimmick of the 2D interior. It was an adorable shop. The menu was crazy expansive. I was not expecting so many options. I love dumplings so was excited to get a soup bowl that included both vegetable and chicken dumplings. I found the broth to be lacking flavour. The dumplings were lovely. I added chili oil, which helped. The broth didn't develop any lasting flavour and tasted like it was just warmed up and poured on top. Since the menu is so large and I enjoyed the decor, I would come back and try a different dish.
We love 2D noodle bars! This location is fast casual and you order at the counter. Server was very friendly and food came out quickly. My daughter ordered the spicy ramen and it was very spicy, she was unable to finish it! It lived up to its title for sure! I had the build your own bowl with veggie broth and fried tofu, it was delicious! They have a small parking lot and it's in a very convenient location, we will visit again.
Second time at this Doodle Noodle location, and this visit was all about bringing our daughter and goddaughter to experience it. Let me say this clearly. It did not miss the first time, and it absolutely did not miss this time either. They were fully satisfied, loved the look and atmosphere, and took a ton of pictures and videos. The place is very camera friendly. The food speaks for itself. Service was top tier. Theresa was our waitress this time and she was awesome. Super attentive and knowledgeable. She even took the time to explain the Doodle Noodle Challenge to my husband after we noticed the photos this visit. While we were there, an on the spot interview was being conducted. Once we were finished eating, we decided to head out so the young man could continue without extra eyes on him. Respect goes a long way. On the way out, our daughter and goddaughter tried their luck at the grab game. I motioned toward the interview area because clearly they forgot where they were for a second. The manager noticed, smiled, and let it rock anyway. Friendly, relaxed, and welcoming energy all around. We will absolutely be back. Consistent food. Great service. Family friendly atmosphere. That's how you do it.
The decor and vibes is phenomenal. The noodle bowls are also good. Where they fall slightly short is the appetizers. You cannot promote fried tofu as special appetizer and give me itty bitty barely there tofu bits reminding me of croutons. Especially knowing I was expecting an Asian style fried tofu!
This place is super unique looking inside and cool. The pho here is delicious but expensive!! However we did order the most expensive ones being the filet mignon pho and short rib pho. The broths were amazing. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and so tender. The short rib however did not fall off the bone as they normally do(atleast the ones I've tried) which was a bit frustrating. The flavor was good tho once broken apart. I loved how they leave chili oil on the table to add to your pho, it added a nice touch. We also ordered the pork egg rolls and ragoons, bother were great! The boba teas here are good too although I'm not a fan of whip cream being added to them. I asked for mine to be left without it. The drink is sweet enough on its own.

Cute cartoon concept that would be perfect for a casual date night or family dinner or whenever you crave delicious Asian fusion food with an American flair Innovative menu with lots of inexpensive, fresh (!), Asian specialities, great to share or self-indulge. Staff are attentive and friendly. I'll definitely visit again soon!

This post is part of the three day foodie tour we did in Tampa. This place is whimsical and fun with good food too! Counter service to order but they bring it your table. Everything is a bit Alice in Wonderland.. painted doors that were walls , a full kitchen but was no functional and painted to look so. Everything black and white and seriously gives cartoon feel. We opted for an order of pan seared dumplings and krab Rangoons -then a green garden salad add shrimp, so fresh and so good.
We decided to travel a little further and try a new place for dinner. The Doodle Noodle was an excellent choice! From the outside it is nothing special. Could drive right by. But when you open the door you are transported to a black and white doodle wonderland. They happen to have great rice and noodle dishes as well. Staff was friendly and provided table service. They were attentive and service was pretty quick. You can use a paper menu or scan a QR code to view on phone. We got Seafood Delight, Vong Way and Cowabunga. I had Vong Way and it was very good. Shrimp and chicken with a slightly spicy sauce with veggies and ramen noodles. It was very tasty and all the ingredients worked well. Just enough spice to be enjoyable. Family had seafood delight and Cowabunga. Cowabunga was a rice bowl with seasoned steak a hard boiled egg and veggies. The steak was very good and tender. The sauce came on the side so you could use to your liking, it was spicy! Great dish if you want some extra heat. The seafood delight was packed with shrimp, krab, and fish balls. Glass noodles were very good and the sauce was excellent with minimal spice. Overall a great dish. We left full and really enjoyed the food and decor.
I didn't expect this place to be as good as it was but this food was amazing!! The best part was definitely the brisket. The doodle theme is also really niche and enjoyable to sit in. I can't wait to go back!

Imagine arriving at a restaurant that looks normal from the outside, but once you step inside, it's like stepping back in time to an era where everything was black and white; the decor is incredibly amazing. The costumers service was two young girls Sara and Theresa their are kindness worker and patient, and the way they explained each dish and its ingredients made us want to order everything. Everything we order was exquisite my Recommendation Hei Hei Bowl Pork Belly Heaven Mimi' s Wings Mango Milk Tea Thai Iced Tea with Lychee And Special thanks for chef Jhen & Mimi the owner for create an unique environment for your costumers with amazing asian cuisine style.

The food is brought to you and they clean your tables for you. We started off with sharing the chicken dumplings fried, krab Rangoon, and fried tofu. All were very delicious. We went back up to order our entrees. I ordered the Pork Belly Heaven Doodle Soup Bowl. It has pork belly, beef broth, ramen, Bok choy, mushrooms, fried onions, and fried garlic. I added a runny fried egg, bean sprouts, basil, and lime. I realized later that I did not receive the like though. I meant to add I think a hard boiled egg instead of a runny egg though. Very good though and full of flavor! Ended up taking half home. It was delicious the next day too! For dessert we ordered the Cream Cheese Churros and the Deep Fried Sugar Donuts. Both were good but I preferred the Cream Cheese Churros. We had a little issue at one point when ordering our entrees. When we ordered our appetizers, unknowingly, we were not handed a number on a stand. The girl who took our order was in training and I believe this was an oversight. When we went to order our entree, her trainer or manager was there and asked where our number was. We advised we were not handed a number and didn't know we needed one. The manager made it seem like we were being dishonest about the number, but the three of us were never handed a number when we ordered our appetizers originally. It was an oversight but the manger handled poorly with us but telling us we were definitely handed one. They later found the number we were apparently supposed to be given originally behind the counter. Overall food was great! The girl in training was great too!

This place very unique with its 'drawn' aesthetic, the theme was super dope inside and out. The employees were very kind and the service was fast too. I got the roll with shrimp & beef inside with peanut sauce 10/10 for an appetizer ($7), and my main order was combination pho for $15 it was a LOT, extremely filling and had to take the rest to go. The broth was super flavorful and the cuts of beef were very tender, the vibe inside was super chill, would definitely come back. read more
Recently heard about this place so we tried the Fowler location. The restaurant itself is very strangely decorated in all black and white. Interesting over all. You order at the counter and the bring to your table so not a sit down kind of place. I had the Chicken Pho with some add ons with fountain soda. First the size of the portion was for 2 anywhere else. I took home a full quart left over. This could be the best pho I ever had. Very flavorful. I do plan to try the Westchase location as well. read more

Great variety of Asian delights, including build your own bowls and an ample list of specials. I opted for steamed chicken dumplings and a noodle bowl (in photo). The noodle bowl was loaded with protein (chicken and egg). I would have liked a more sauce and texture (more bok choy and sesame seeds). The dumplings were good, but I didn't care for the ponzu sauce. Next time, I will try the pan fried dumplings and a customized bowl. Service kept up with a crowd and was very friendly. The ambiance is unique (white and black theme). I will be back! read more

Mimi is amazing! She's so kind, clearly loves what she does, and her positive energy helped guide us toward exactly what we wanted. The inside is a fun, welcoming vibe, and the staff were all super friendly. We tried the strawberry lemonade and the taro milk tea, both of which were delicious. I had the Too Many Dumplings soup, my fiancé got the Peppa Pig bowl with a hard boiled egg, and our daughter loved the food too! Definitely family-friendly! read more

Pros: A visually distinct location with stark black/white design both outside and inside. Courteous employees. The takeout supplies and utensils and fountain drinks are all grouped together. I ordered the Vong Way -a stir fry dish with chicken,shrimp, bok choy,and mushrooms. It was medium spicy 3-3.5/5. It had sweet/spicy elements,crushed nuts, lime, cilantro. It is basically a sibling to Pad Thai so some would say it is a "rip off" but it is distinct. 8/10 The restaurant is generally clean. Parking is adequate and they are open Sundays till 9 pm. Misc: They have fountain sodas and boba drinks. (I didn't get any. Thankfully, you can get tap water like fast foods joints) The prices are fair. Expect to wait approximately 10-12 minutes for food. Cons: Nothing big. I would have liked a bit more vegetables in the bowl,but that's a nitpick. Overall: A promising new pan Asian fast casual restaurant in USF. read more
So I have been trying to go here for months and our schedules wouldn't work. Last night was finally the night that my friend and I got to go!! We arrived a little after 6 as traffic is super heavy during dinner hours between Bradenton and Tampa. The place is clean on the inside and the servers are super friendly and helpful! Once you order your food appears very quickly! We ordered two appetizers-one dumplings and one spring rolls and both were served hot, fresh and were tasty! I got the too many dumplings soup and I loved it! You get a huge serving and I brought some home. We also got boba teas and they come in cute take home cups. I got the taro with black licorice and it was really good! The prices are not bad at all! Their exterior landscaping needs some help as it was neglected and overgrown but the inside was as promised. It's a fun experience and even has a photo op! Definitely a repeat location as the menu is varied! read more

Sooo cute and perfect for pictures! First of tampa's kind. The staff were nice. Food were very similar to the one in Orlando. Definitely try the spicy ramen! It has a kick to it so be cautious. I had a great experience at the doodle noodle bar! I got the rice dish and it was delicious! My husband got a pho dish and he absolutely loved it! The vibe is very casual with great art of the restaurant as it is supposed to be a doodle style. It's a casual atmosphere with great service! read more
This place was such a well detailed place with great decor, in comparison it is so much better than the Twenty-Pho Hours in Orlando and not as crowded. The service was great here! The bowl was a little salty to my tasting but other than that it was great! I got the Oh So Goood bowl with an extra poached egg and added fire sauce to it for extra spicy. read more

I really enjoyed this place. The interior was black and white like a drawing throughout the whole restaurant. It was fun and the drawings on the walls were pretty cool. I've been to their location in Westchase and thought it was good. So when they opened up a second location close to USF, I knew I had to give it a try. And once again I think they do a good job :) The portion sizes are very sizable. The people working here are super friendly and accommodating. I got the Pork Belly Heaven and was surprised by the number of pieces of fried and crispy pork belly that they included. The ambiance is very whimsical, like that of stepping into a coloring book or a comic book. A very unique restaurant. The only slight demerit is the broth was quite salty this time around. But other than that, everything else was great. Keep up the good work :) read more

I loved the doodle noodle bar! I ordered the "Too many dumplings" soup bowl, which had a veggie broth. My husband ordered the fiery noodles, which had the beef broth. Honestly, The veggie broth was even tastier than the beef broth. Dumplings were a bit bland in terms of the filling but soup made up for it. Service was EXCELLENT. You order up front and they bring your food to your seat, and the young lady working up front was doing a great taking orders and bringing bowls. The summer rolls were SO good and the peanut sauce was delish. I didn't leave a drop. The only negative was the boba drinks. We got the taro and the doodle and they were really bland. Like you couldn't even taste the taro. It was super watered down. I'd go back for the soup but not the boba. read more
Sooo it's finally here! I remember the first time I went to the first location in West Chase Florida. My taste buds were blown away hands-down the best Vietnamese fusion I've ever had.. this location is closer to me and it's just as good. I tried the chicken wings OMG. You must try the chicken wings. Wait till you taste that umami bomb in your mouth. I had the chicken for this time. Delicious. You can create your own pho. If you need. Also, there's summer rolls are huge and the peanut sauce is addicting.. I'm so glad it's closer to me very convenient. I recommend highly.. read more

Took a lunch break from work with a colleague. The all black and white decor was fun and whimsical, if a little disorienting. I ordered The Vong Way, a giant bowl of spicy stir-fried noodles with mushrooms, bok choy, shrimp, and chicken. This think was so spicy, so savory, so loaded, and so huge. I wanted to tap out after 2/3 of the bowl but it was so tasty that I just had to power through. It's a little on the pricey side for a lunch option but again the portions are very big and they had a 15% discount for USF employees. read more
