Best donuts in Washington! I was a semi regular and now I live in the "big city" of Seattle and NOTHING compares to the Donut Parade! Miss you guys over there! read more

Their maple bars are amazing! The shop is a little run down but with all the great donuts it's easy to overlook. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. read more

Talk about amazing!!!! As you walk near the building, smells of heaven assault your senses...tears of joy stream down your face as you anticipate the wonderful donut you're about to devour. Not to mention the staff being so incredible and helpful and generous!!! This establishment loves our military members too...the staff and a faithful customer recently pitched in to buy 3 dozen donuts for a group of servicemen in uniform. This will be our ONLY donut supplier! read more

Love this place BUT, I'm a plain cake donut girl. They never have plain cake donuts with either powered sugar or reg. sugar. They seem to always cover them with all manner of toppings when its not needed. I do like their maple bars, but us cake donut fans have to shop elsewhere. For a "donut shop" shouldn't have to go anywhere else for our donuts and that seems to be the case here. read more

Their donuts are the best! I found out about this place from my co-workers then on my birthday last June my husband told me he will bring me anywhere I want so I asked him if we can start my birthday with a breakfast here and we did. We ordered a dozen donuts with different variety and everything are delicious!!! Since then and every time I crave for donuts we go here instead and always get a dozen order. Also, the price is very cheap! and the size of each donut is perfect for me not too big and not too small. We keep coming back here until now. read more

Out of all the places you can get a donut in Spokane. Donut Parade is/has always been the best. I have been going there since I was a kid. The donuts are always stellar, and the prices are super reasonable. I love Donut Parade!! read more

This is by far my favorite donut shop in all of Spokane. The owners are just as sweet as pie, and the donuts are fantastic (I highly recommend the maple crumb donut). Great family friendly shop. read more

Amazing service and donuts!!!! Went there for my first time 6am sharp. Surprised to see there was already a few people in there and more coming in. The lady who worked there was so nice and gave me a free donut to eat while I was waiting for my order. She also said to come back and try one of their famous maple bars on the house since I was in a rush and couldn't wait until 6:30 when they are usually done. Truly a gem of a business in Spokane with the old fashion nostalgic feel and service that takes you back to better times. 5/5!! read more

I swing by The Donut Parade about once a month or so. In addition to donuts, they server various breakfast items like breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, etc. It is locally owned which is a plus and dougnuts are made fresh daily. It does not have the feel of a franchised doughnut shop if that is what you are looking for. It is more of what would be called atmosphere by some and old by others. Since it is one of only a few doughnut shops that I know of (Krispy Kreme in thhe Valley and recently Dawn of the Doughnuts in Spokane) it tends to be busy during prime doughnut times. It has diner type seat yourself seating and a small walk up counter area to place orders. As far as classic doughnuts go, it is what you would expect and a little more. They do have a bacon maple bar that is served with a thick whole piece of bacon that is one of my favorites since I personally like the whole piece vs. the crumbles. Prices are average for what doughnuts cost these days. Parking is located behind but is usually full during peak times but street parking is available. read more

We thought we'd compare the Donut Parade's fare with the Dawn of the Donut's offerings - it was a draw! I preferred the airy, super-sweet Dawn doughnut, and my partner in crime liked the denser, slightly yeasty lemon-filled one from Donut Parade. Donut Parade has a certain old-timey, dumpy charm, and the ladies there were incredibly sweet - they even gave us a free doughnut! Both places are definitely worth seeking out. read more

I love doughnuts. I crave doughnuts.... these did not appeal to me. The young lady helping me at the counter was very sweet, just the doughnuts... not light and fluffy at all... very heavy and not much flavor. read more

The glaze donuts are the best thing I have ever eaten. I moved from Idaho and Spokane but didnt hear about this little joint until a year or two before we moved to Ohio. I miss me some donut parade donuts. Almost all that I tried were good, but the plain glazed was a great mix of fluffy and soft yet dense read more

The Donut Parade under the ownership of Kathy and Darrell Jones was a wonderful and warm establishment. The current owners have done everything they could to discourage long-time customers from the neighborhood who come in for coffee and a doughnut. The prices have tripled, the menu has changed dramatically, the schedule has changed ( and changed again) several times. They even stopped selling the morning paper! All these are business decisions and, while it has been an adjustment for longtime customers to get used to, my husband (and others in the neighborhood) have continued to patronize this local business. Until last month, that is. My husband has gone to the Donut Parade every morning that he is in town for the past 45 years. He customarily arrives when they open. I've tried to figure out the amount he has spent over forty-five years of daily patronage. I come up with a figure of roughly $25,000.00. Actually it is probably more. On Saturday, March 1, 2014, there was an unusually long line at the cash register when my husband went to pay. These were all customers buying boxes of donuts. He estimates that his wait time would have been about 25 minutes. We had something planned that morning and he asked if he could catch the bill the next time he came in, which would have been the following Tuesday. In roughly 13,000 visits to the Donut Parade he doesn't remember ever asking this simple favor before. Not that that matters. What matters is that my husband was told very curtly to "get in line. These people are in front of you." He's 84 and hard of hearing and tried to explain that he'd pay them next time. Long story short, the new owner chased him out into the parking lot and gave him a lecture about how they "didn't really' make any money from customers like him who came in to have coffee and donuts and that "the big profit" was in over-the-counter box sales. These are exact words and this happened exactly as I am writing it. We are informing every one we know about the business philosophy of these new owners. And we know a lot of people. They have driven away loyal and steady customers whose goodwill Darrell Jones spent a lifetime earning. Shame on them. read more

They only make apple fritters on Friday. I special ordered some to pick up today. VERY disappointed. I have never had a worse apple fritter in my life. My husband agrees. They were almost burned and hard, looked like balls of burned dough. I expected them to be large and gooey. I don't know how they get away with charging $3.00 a piece. Called them and he said they have to almost burn them or they will not be cooked. Do not buy that story. I will keep buying Albertsons. read more

Drove 30 minutes for a box of donuts from Donut Parade (hour round-trip) and was quite the popular Dad and Husband as a result. Best Donuts in the Inland Northwest! Maple bars are amazing; in fact, all of their donuts are delicious. Their breakfast burritos are good too! Treat yourself and your family. read more

If you want factory ambience, move on. If you want delicious, fresh doughnuts at a reasonable price, try these. I had a fresh (still warm) maple bar on a Saturday afternoon. The counter was busy, but the ladies up front kept it moving. Lovely old-Spokane charm. Great food. You can call ahead and pick up your order, as well. read more

The Donut Parade has lost me as a customer. If you are going to charge outrageous prices for fried lard and sugar then you better have outrageous service to back it up. I'm tired of being told that I didn't give them enough notice that I wanted to spend $20-$30 in their store. I'll find another place that I don't need to give them a days notice that I want to spend money in their store. read more

I've lived in Spokane all my life (31 whole yrs.) and have drove past this shop a billion times and always thought WOW I cant believe that dumpy old place is still open! But I must say I NOW know why, I recently started working at Lilac city vapor which is just a few blocks up from the Donut parade and so I decided to stop in one day on my way to work to get a quick breakfast snack, so I walk in and get in line and first off was greeted by a beautiful blonde who had a smile that could light a room and the sweetest personality ever and now I'm pretty sure she is one of the owners? So she proceeded to ask me what I wanted and me being a HUGE maple bar fan got a couple maple bars and a" Fender bar" which is a maple bar with peanut butter and also got a few of the pumpkin spice. So I ended up just asking for a dozen and a dozen from donut parade is actually more like 15 donuts which is cool to me! And I was expecting to pay like $20 well I was wrong! They were only $10!!!!!!! I thought dang now that's a good deal! So I left and went to work and started on my first donut the "fender bar" (maple bar with peanut butter) and man I tell ya talk about a FOODGASAM! I honestly felt like i died and went to heaven!! This was the most delicious moist crispy yet soft in the middle gooey yummy donut I have ever tasted! They beat the heck outta the way over priced and grocery store quality of Dawn of the donut and definitely beat the over sweet way over rated krispy kremes!!! I mean the pumpkin spice was incredible the cherry and orange ALL INCREDIBLE!! And now I will have to blame the donut parade for all my future weight gain because I have been going back every day for more and not to mention my kids are always expecting mommy to bring home treats after work and my husband, lets not even get into that because I have to literally hide them from him because he will eat a whole box on his own!!! So yes I must give Chris and Roy at donut parade 5 stars and if i could i would give them 10 stars!!!! I'm still a new customer and have literally only been going there a few weeks and they all know me by my first name and know what I want to order as soon as I walk in the door!! And the one guy in the back with the halo and angel wings is the owner Roy and he's the one throwin down all the yummy goodness and lets just say he can cook his arse off and he is now at the top of my shopping list for Christmas because lets face it he deserves a freakin stocking full of gold for these masterpieces he pumps outta his kitchen!Chris ,Roy and there other 2 girls that work there are all class acts and they are all WONDERFUL!!!! 10 thumbs up Donut Parade you guys kick butt ;-) read more
