Love this shop. They have the best donuts and service. I love the cronuts on Sundays and the special donuts they do throughout the year

Gosh how I hate to leave bad reviews - but the truth is the truth. We tried this spot a few weeks ago - it was an afternoon ..... we grabbed an apple fritter and a cake donut. They both were oddly dry and the flavor was kinda off - we decided it must be due to the late afternoon and were willing to give it another try. We stopped by yesterday to grab two coffees and two donuts. The apple fritters looked SO good - I mentioned to the young lady working the inside counter "oh man - we tried an apple fritter a few weeks ago and it wasn't very good" we discussed that they looked so delicious so we I decided to give the fritter another shot and grabbed one and my husband grabbed an old fashioned. As the young lady was getting our coffees I reached in and broke a piece off of the fritter and took a bite - yep ... it was much more fresh but the flavor was just off again. I decided I'd grab a different donut and chalk it up to the fritters just not being to my liking. I had not paid yet - so when the young gal came back with coffees I said "I'm going to get another donut - I tried the fritter and I don't like it" and ordered a cronut - I was told "You still have to pay" - I was taken aback as I didn't imply nor state I didn't want to pay- I wasn't expecting anything for free - the fritter wasn't to my liking and I wanted something else - I never asked for anything for free and had no intention of getting a "free donut" - it not in my wheel house to try to finagle a free couple buck donut. I gladly paid my bill - sadly I didn't tip because the interaction was offensive - walked out the door and tossed the apple fritter in the trash. Needless to say - we are still on the hunt for a new donut spot. My husband did say the old fashion donut was decent - he mentioned maybe they use a different kind of oil and that's why the donuts taste "different" to us - and the cronut was okay but again the flavor is just a bit different. All this first world problems over a fritter - it's really just a lesson that not everybody that doesn't like your fritter wants something for free. read more

Tried the white cream, raspberry, old-fashioned, and white cake. The service was something. Willing to try another shot, but we're very dried out. Though dry, still tasty. My kids didn't like the taste of the raspberry since it was very sour and sweet. Overall, pretty good. Peace read more

We love the donuts here and love that it's family friendly with seating and games. But for the love of maple! Why oh why won't you make more maple!?!? Or just more in general. They are sold out so often. The want is there so why not make more. Today before 11am there were out of maple and chocolate. I say that as a customer request, not hate. We recommend Donut House. Just be ready to be disappointed. Today is the FIFTH Sunday in a row they were wiped out and of course out of maple. read more

Well, I gave 3 stars because my husband and I always wanted to go there so we finally did. Pulled up to their bakery and the sign on the door said they were closed and to go through drive-through. Maybe it was an emergency or something? So we went through the drive-through thinking maybe there was only one or two employees in the store, got up to the window, and on the window was a sign taped to it that said "we are out of donuts." Well that was a first, we couldn't stop laughing actually. I've never seen that before at a donut shop during normal working hours. Anyway, we've never been back. Maybe someday. Hopefully we won't wait too long in case there's a sign on the door that says "out of business, no donuts" lol read more

Your apple fritters are sub par on a great day! If your anticipating biting into apples you would be wrong to assume so. Soooo yeah go to Gross donuts as their fritters taste much better and actually have apple in them!! read more

At present, not super thrilled with the Doughnut House! You see, today my husband got me a treat and brought it to me. While I was enjoying my much needed treat, I stumbled into a hair in my doughnut. It was super disgusting!! I didn't even get to finish my treat because I was so disgusted by having someone's hair in my mouth! I love the whole vibe and there are a lot of donuts to choose from. As far as donut shops go, prices were not insane, which is to say about twice what you'd pay at a gas station or grocery store. I really did appreciate the friendly service and hometown feel. However, donuts themselves ere not very good IMHO; on par with a grocery store. Apple fritter: dry, bready, bland, and nearly apple-less. Avoid. Bavarian Bismark. Dry and bready with a smidge of filling, which seemed to me the kind of heavily processed industrial product that comes in 5 gallon tubs. Avoid. Chocolate cake donuts. The best thing I had here. Delicious and moist. Thank you. Apple filled bear claw. Again with the cheap filling. This is the stuff McDonalds puts in their apple pies, or might grace the inside of a frozen breakfast pastry. Commercial grade and low quality, surrounded by dry bread. I got an assortment of others too, and the theme prevailed among the yeast donuts. Honestly about as good as grocery store donuts. Overall, this is probably a fun place to grab a bunch of donuts for coworkers or a softball team and I'm sure it would be well appreciated. But if you're a big fat donut lover like myself actually looking for something special, you may be disappointed. read more

I had this at 5 a year ago. They had the BEST apple fritter I have ever had. The last 3 times I've been there, the recipe has been changed. Now fritter is worse than average. I had hoped it was a temp thing but they have obviously made some changes and I won't be returning. read more

Came at the end of the day, there wasn't much of a choice, so we settled for the maple and cake doughnuts. The young girl didn't seem to know much about the doughnuts, or even the time that the store opened in the morning. Not sure if the owner was changed, but the price went up (understandable due to inflation) and the quality went down. Some donuts look so sloppy (never been that way before). What a great donut shop! My daughter, dog, and I drove through recently, and the customer service was excellent and the products were great. My dog received not only one but two treats, and he was thrilled. My daughter loved her donuts and I picked a glazed twist for myself, and while they were out, she gave me two traditional glazed donuts, with one on the house for the inconvenience, which truly wasn't a big deal. Headed to Silverwood but stopped here for a quick breakfast because someone recommended it. This place was the greatest place to feed 3 teenage boys breakfast along with all their friends. Visiting from out of state we found this place by coincidence. Fresh, delicious local donuts. Opted out for the classic raspberry filled, bear claw, blue berry, a buttermilk sugar glazed and can't forget the coffee!
