Disappointed--Overpriced & Stale Donuts Stopped by early Sunday morning (7:15 AM) expecting fresh donuts, but what I got was overpriced and stale. Paid $20 for six basic donuts (glazed, chocolate-covered, etc.)--nothing fancy, just standard donuts you'd find at any shop. When I asked about the high price, the owner blamed rent costs instead of explaining the value. On top of that, the donuts tasted old and stale, like they had been sitting out for at least a day or two. I understand costs are rising, but at this price point, I'd expect fresh donuts--not leftovers. Definitely not worth it.

I bought 6 donuts and after first couple of bites I tasted acetone just like in the nail salon. Threw them away. What a shame

Donuts were terrible. Overdone, tasted like the oil was used for other food and as expensive as I've seen! Stay away.

$11 for a cinnamon roll and glazed twist. They were both hard and gross. Save your money.

$40 for 12 donuts seems insane. The donuts were good, but not worth $40. They do have quite a large selection and the donuts were fresh!

I would not recommend this business. The chocolate eclairs were terrible. They taste like chemicals. Save your money and time. Very unhappy.

I chose to leave the 36$ dozen donuts right there on the counter. No thank you. Thought I was at Disney land.

These are the best donuts in Springhill. They are huge and full of yummy filling. Highly recommend the chocolate glazed custard filled.

Unfortunately, what should have been a great experience turned into a very uncomfortable one. The gentleman who took our order was extremely rude from the start and made us feel unwelcome and clearly unwilling to respond to our questions about the menu. We initially gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming it might be a cultural misunderstanding. However, things only got worse. After we sat down, he never brought us water while consistently serving other tables. At one point, he even prepared a full table setting--with water and food--for a reservation that hadn't yet arrived, while we continued to sit there unattended. After nearly 30 minutes of awkward waiting, we were finally given water. What made the situation more concerning was the clear difference in how we(Caucasian Americans) were treated compared to other customers. He was warm, kind, and engaging with others--particularly those who appeared to share his background--but would not acknowledge or engage with us at all. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that I made the decision to leave for the sake of my daughters. As a father, it was clear they felt unwelcome, and that was not something I was willing to tolerate. I left without asking for a refund due to what seemed to be hostility. We've had many wonderful experiences at Asian restaurants, but our experience at Daylight Sushi was deeply disappointing. We did not feel welcomed, and unfortunately, we were treated in a way that made that very clear. Wish this was not the case and hopefully this was a major misunderstanding!

Oh yes, the review points and what not: * The ambience is ambient, the kind of place where you'd enjoy sipping coffee. * The staff is chill; the kind of peeps you'd love sharing a coffee with. * The bean water is pinky-lifting tastebud euphoria that both longtime locals and recently relocated Californians can enjoy. The hot and sour soup, a staple of all of my orders, has completely lost its pleasant bit of heat, is entirely bland and flavorless, and even worse, it's gotten so thick and gelatinous that it's unpleasant to slurp. The sesame chicken is still ok, though the meat runs tougher and chewier than past orders. I will give them credit for continuing to pack the to go box as tightly as possible, so you're really getting a lot of chicken. Only a piece or two of broccoli, so, if you're looking for a chicken and veg combo, I'd recommend adding a side of steamed broccoli. The dumplings are still good, and generous with an order being 10 dumplings.

Sesame chicken wasn't too bathed in the sauce and it had just the right amount of crunch. The fried rice, in my opinion, could use more seasoning but other than that, the combination hit the spot. My only gripe was with the Hot & Sour Soup. It was lacking in flavor and it was oddly sweet. It was missing the vinegar flavor that I'm so used to. Can't complain though since the entire meal was less than $10. Service was also very nice as well.
