Great first expert at this location with my two girls on a rainy day. We opted to go inside as there were multiple donut choices. They had a steady business in the drive-thru but we were able to easily park (and later exit). Indoors was chilly but bright. We were greeted by 3 different employees, all with a smile, all understanding we needed time to choose (as there was no one behind us). The gentleman who helped us in the end was great, joking with the girls & making helpful suggestions. I think $10 for 6 donuts is rather pricey, however, this was a rare treat AND we were told a few of our choices would have an up charge. The donuts had decent flavor & satisfied our collective sweet tooth.

Splash of coffee.. drink is majority cream only. Bad and inconsistent drinks.

When you go to order coffee, you expect to actually have coffee in your cup and not just a splash of coffee and majority cream. This can't even be drank as it's all cream and disgusting. There is so little coffee in it that you can't taste it over the amount of cream in it. Waste of money.

    Bad donut service

I sat in line for over 20 minutes without ever placing my order. How is that even possible?

Have you ever heard or seen a donut place that is out of donuts at 3:00 PM, I just did. Place is pathetic.

That box of…read moredonuts I carried out was plenty heavy, wasn't sure if it was going to be sugar or oil heavy. Wow, extra extra sweet, really too sugary for me, the glazed donut was the first bite, was warm and sweet, too sweet, ate half because I knew by looking at the rest of the box was going to be a challenge, cut half of the chocolate bar with cream, no cake icing filling and same deal, at least I got a bit of a chocolate taste, advice, use cream filling for filled bars. Next was the apple fritter, cut it in half, seen apple bits but still biting into sugar, this didn't taste no where near an apple fritter, I didn't bother tasting anymore. I can say customer service was excellent, even the baker went out of his way to greet me. Sure hope I can find a donut shop that won't cost me an arm and leg, I've reviewed close to 60 donut shops my last 10 years, I won't forget Donut Palace.

I felt like my cheeks were actively getting filled with nail polish air. Not to mention 6 donuts were $30 and I ended up only eating the equivalent of one donut and threw the rest out. I tried to be optimistic and tried every donut I bought and they all had that very weird taste. do not go here and waste your money or risk getting sick. The actual building was not very clean or lively in my opinion either.

Unfortunately, what should have been a great experience turned into a very uncomfortable one. The gentleman who took our order was extremely rude from the start and made us feel unwelcome and clearly unwilling to respond to our questions about the menu. We initially gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming it might be a cultural misunderstanding. However, things only got worse. After we sat down, he never brought us water while consistently serving other tables. At one point, he even prepared a full table setting--with water and food--for a reservation that hadn't yet arrived, while we continued to sit there unattended. After nearly 30 minutes of awkward waiting, we were finally given water. What made the situation more concerning was the clear difference in how we(Caucasian Americans) were treated compared to other customers. He was warm, kind, and engaging with others--particularly those who appeared to share his background--but would not acknowledge or engage with us at all. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that I made the decision to leave for the sake of my daughters. As a father, it was clear they felt unwelcome, and that was not something I was willing to tolerate. I left without asking for a refund due to what seemed to be hostility. We've had many wonderful experiences at Asian restaurants, but our experience at Daylight Sushi was deeply disappointing. We did not feel welcomed, and unfortunately, we were treated in a way that made that very clear. Wish this was not the case and hopefully this was a major misunderstanding!

The hot and sour soup, a staple of all of my orders, has completely lost its pleasant bit of heat, is entirely bland and flavorless, and even worse, it's gotten so thick and gelatinous that it's unpleasant to slurp. The sesame chicken is still ok, though the meat runs tougher and chewier than past orders. I will give them credit for continuing to pack the to go box as tightly as possible, so you're really getting a lot of chicken. Only a piece or two of broccoli, so, if you're looking for a chicken and veg combo, I'd recommend adding a side of steamed broccoli. Sesame chicken wasn't too bathed in the sauce and it had just the right amount of crunch. The fried rice, in my opinion, could use more seasoning but other than that, the combination hit the spot. My only gripe was with the Hot & Sour Soup. It was lacking in flavor and it was oddly sweet. It was missing the vinegar flavor that I'm so used to. Can't complain though since the entire meal was less than $10. Service was also very nice as well.
