Sign imploring "Let's eat donuts!"
Niels M.

The cold brew Nitro coffee is delicious and refreshing. The donuts are at another level. I had a French toast donut that was the best donut I've ever had. The staff was friendly and quickly put my order together. The interior has a cool sign suggesting "Let's eat donuts!" I concur wholeheartedly! It's down the street from Sikorsky helicopters so they have a poster of a chopper lifting a donut. Check it out!

Cannoli Donut

Service was excellent. Coffee was great. I was kind of disappointed with the donut flavors which is why I gave 4 stars. They are beautiful donuts but kind of missed the mark with flavors for me. I will say they are definitely fresh and I did come after the morning rush so maybe if I had gotten there earlier I could have had more of a variety to choose from. I will definitely go back another day but earlier.

I've been to this joint twice now. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable The donuts are MONSTERS. Humongous! The two times I ordered there were mistakes though which is why I'm docking a star My first order should've contained egg whites on the sandwich but this didn't happen My second order asked for avocado on my sandwich, but this was missed as well. They did correct this mistake upon me calling them. Overall, good food. Decent service, but could have better attention to orders.

Birthday Cake Donut

This was exactly what the doctor order. I have been crazing donuts like Homer Simpson for the last 3-4 months. Ended up here and was pleasantly surprised. The birthday cake donut was everything. Felt like it was my special day after that one. I also tried the Cannoli Donut which has all the characteristics of the Italian dessert but uses the donut as its vehicle. It's sweet but not overly sweet. This is the places to go if you want a special donut or if you want to indulge on the refined classic versions.

I'll go all the way here with a 5 star "great" rating. I've come here several times over the years and I've never been disappointed with my selection. My go-to is the cannoli doughnut, but Boston cream, cookie monster, and the regular glazed are also really great. Indulge in a sweet treat and give Donut Crazy a try.

Dunk - a - roos, Kookie Monster, Monster Red Velvet, Cereal, Dunk - a - roos, & Glazed Jelly

This was part of a small strip mall and contained a drive-thru. The selection of donuts was overwhelming. There was a lot to choose from. They also had other breakfast options available too. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered 6 donuts ($3.25 for crazy and $1.95 for a daily one). One of the crazy donuts was discounted off since the half dozen deal was given. Glazed Jelly - This was easily the best donut of the day. It was filled with black raspberry jelly and dipped in glaze. It was packed with thick jelly and it was delicious. The glaze was a nice added touch too. Dunk - a - roos - I was most excited to try this one, but it was the most disappointing. It was a vanilla cake donut with vanilla frosting in crushed graham crackers with buttercream, rainbow nonpareils, and teddy grahams. It was extremely dense and I was not a fan of the buttercream. The teddy grahams were also a little stale. Monster Red Velvet - This was recommended to me by the lady taking my order after I asked for her favorite. I am usually not a fan of red velvet, but this donut had so much going on it was not of concern. It was glazed red velvet with brownie batter, chocolate chip cookie dough, mini M&Ms, nonpareils, fluff, and topped with a house-made bruleed marshmallow. There were lots of flavors here, but I did enjoy it. All of the toppings went well with one another. Kookie Monster - The donut was a glazed raised ring with blue frosting dipped in chips ahoy cookies and drizzled with more blue frosting. This was solid with the cookie crunch. Will I go back? Easily.

Donuts galore! There are lots of unique and classic options at Donut Crazy. I got a mix of donuts for my family and they were all generously sized and tasty. They do stay fresh for a few days as well in case you are in a sugar coma. Note, when you order a dozen you get 2 extra for free (says so on the sign). The cashier seemed to have forgotten so I had to ask.

Donut Crazy - Maple Bacon, Hostess is way too sweet, French Toast, Raised Cinnamon, Black Hawk and Strawberry Frosted

I'm not a big fan of donuts but if you're going to have one might as well be a good one. The donuts at Donut Crazy are definitely not the standard. While some of them are better than others they are all made with high quality ingredients. Some of them are also sickening sweet so just be mindful when choosing!! Speaking of sweet, some of the women working the counter are anything but. They are generally unfriendly and act as if you're bothering them.

Half dozen of various ridiculous donuts

This place is ridiculous, and I mean that in a good way. I am a fan of donuts, and since moving to Connecticut from Buffalo, I hadn't really found anything that compared to Paula's. . . until now. This place delivers. Well, I don't know if they actually deliver donuts to you, but they deliver on taste and quality, plus some ridiculousness. Do you want a donut that also has small cakes on top? They have that. They have cookie dough filled donuts. They have something that looks suspiciously like a Hostess cupcake. Even their regular donuts are great, both in yeast and cake form. I am lucky that it's a bit of a drive for me to get anywhere near one, otherwise I would be 500lbs.

The class size was about 8-10 of us, a nice mix of people like me who were new to the sourdough adventure, and some more experienced. The class was $200. The different stages of starter development, proofing, fermentation, shaping and baking were demonstrated. At the end, you get a container of starter and a loaf to take home. For a new sourdough baker, I wish there was more hands on so you feel the textures of the dough.

There are sandwiches, sweet treats, sourdough bread varieties, focaccia, cookies, coffee and more. The place is inviting and casual with air of class and attention to detail. Very welcoming. There is seating avaible to enjoy your coffee or cornetto. The products are all thoughtfully displayed and the service was genuinely friendly and upbeat. The cornetto with him and cheese was a simple and delicious sandwich. The bomboloni (1 pistachio and 1 lemon) were light and decadent at the same time, with a creamy custard like filling with subtle tastes of lemon and pistachio. I will be coming back for these. The garlic sourdough was filled with whole garlic gloves baked in with a nice chewy outside crust and soft inside. The country sourdough was equally amazing. Both great for dipping, sandwiches, toast, or simply spreading with a good quality butter or jam. There are no preservatives or artificial ingredients and all is made by hand. Right off the Post Rd in Westport with a small parking lot shared with other businesses. I highly recommend and will be a regular!

I spent 50$ there and everything tasted a few days old. The smell of the quiche reheated was inedible, smelled gamey. the cake tasted old. theres not labels above and below all of the food and pastry options so I dont know what anything is. there was no coffee drinks menu but teas were randomly written on a piece of paper. they should redo menu, make it clearer, offer less options that are all fresher. salads are great, sandwiches are great, flatbreads are great. Fill in the holes of what nc really needs, they shouldn't sell muffins with Rosies next door, you cant even compete, stick to what youre good at or where theres a hole in the market, for example NC has no donut shop, serve those to stand out.
