I was only going to this Dunkin because it's the closest one to my job, but I've given this place way too many chances at this point. This store seems to be understaffed all the time or constantly have a lack of urgency to help their customers. Mid morning during the week is typically when I've gone there. Almost every time, there's maybe 3 cars in the parking lot and 2 in the drive thru, and it's still very slow service. I opt to go to the drive thru most times, because I'm usually just out on a quick run during work hours, and they have people sitting there for way too long. And the worst thing is that because it's only a small little drive thru lane, once you place your order, you're stuck in there; you can't even leave the line if it's taking too long. Along with the slow service, I don't think they care or even know how to make drinks half the time. To be honest, I don't think the staff is properly trained. The last time I ordered a hot drink from here was a hot chocolate. It was so watery and tasted horrible. When I opened the cup to look at it, it was straight up just brown water. How do they look at a drink like that and serve it to someone? Another time, I ordered an iced coffee. After I drank a few sips, I realized it was so sour. Tasted like spoiled milk. My stomach was hurting so bad the rest of the day. The definitely used expired creamer. The very last time I ordered from here (and probably my last time ever), I ordered a frozen coffee. I order ahead on the app all the time for the points, but I always put it thru like 1 or 2 mins before I arrive, just in case there is a wait in the drive thru. When they gave it to me, it was completely melted. I understand that it won't be completely frozen after it's been sitting there for some time, but it was literally like an iced coffee. It's unacceptable. I'm paying for a frozen coffee, not an iced coffee (frozen is more $ than an iced coffee btw). They need to train better, because they clearly made the frozen coffee as soon as the order came in. And then they left it sitting there while they took forever to accommodate 3 cars in the drive thru (no customers were inside the store either). With frozen drinks, they should NEVER start making it when it comes in on the app as a "pick up in the drive thru". Other Dunkin's that I've been to, they wait until the person arrives at the drive thru speaker to make the frozen drink... and it has come out perfect every time (even after waiting in the drive thru line for a while). I mean it's common sense.. Think about if someone ordered ice cream somewhere ahead of time, are they gonna let it sit out for 15 mins and then hand it to the customer all melted? Of course not. I've complained to them twice, in hopes they would just give me my $5 back for the drink that made me sick and the drink that was brown water; but both times they just made it this big thing where their customer specialist (Brittany) had to reach out to the store manager privately. And all Brittany did was offer for them to make the drink again for free. She told me to go back, ask for the store manager (Tina) and to tell her that "Brittany had a free drink waiting for me". I mean really? I'm sorry but what makes them think that a customer wants to come back after all that?
