On 9/9/26, my 85 year old mother called Harris to repair her gas leak to her heater. The technician…read moreperformed a bubble test, the same exact bubble test that PSE&G previously performed to find a gas leak. The tech from Harris claimed he found the leak, but couldn't reach the leak to repair because the hot water heater was in the way. Harris charged my 85 year old widowed mother $637.50 for the bubble test and fixed nothing. The tech didn't lift so much as a screwdriver, charged her $637.50 and fixed nothing, leaving my mom with no heat and a big bill. The invoice stated that Harris would have to come back out and move the hot water heater so they could reach the leak, a job that can cost thousands. We hired another contractor to come out and check the leak to see what they would say. It turns out the leak that Harris said was behind the water heater wasn't where the leak actually was and they fixed it for her and charged $200 and never once even considered that the water heater needed to be moved. When the 2nd contractor left, the heat was working. The 2 Harris representatives defended what Harris charged and the job that wasn't completed. Sean and Paul, you both failed your customer miserably. Paul told me Harris has been in business since 1985. That should tell you that for 4 decades this company has been taking advantage of people by targeting elderly women and pressuring them into paying for unnecessary work for profit. It isn't about the money Sean and Paul, it's about how you treated an old lady on a fixed income. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and will also file a claim in small claims court. I promise you I will cost you more than what you charged my mother going forward by any means necessary. Stay away from Harris. They prey on the elderly and are proud of it. I am attaching the invoice that supports exactly what I've described in this review. Anything short of an apology and full refund from Harris will not be accepted. Don't call us. Don't email us. Don't send us a letter. It amazes me that Harris has a 1.9 rating. Should be zero!

They almost always have the unique, old school, or oddly sized part that we need, or they know where to find one. Once, when we had an actual emergency and they didn't have the part, they called around for us and found one in another plumbing shop in Pennsville, and off we went to pick it up! We were so impressed that they were more concerned with fixing our problem than with making a sale. Carol, the owner, is a gem, very friendly, really knows her stuff. and shares extremely helpful advice freely! Their prices are a little higher, but it's worth it; first, it's a small, local shop, and second, you'll never find some those parts at a big box store. If you're working on an older house, make this your first stop.

Excellent, fast, affordable service…read more So there was this shower drain that wasn't living up to its name. And then there was me and my Fella and a host of effective-looking tools. Rawr! And yet, our repeated attempts over two-week long period of doin'-it-ourselving were doin' nothing but creating a lake in the bathroom. We had two choices: call Campbell Plumbing or bust out the swimtrunks and floaties. Since I like a nice, hot shower and dislike weeks of frustration, I opted for the phone. A lovely duo arrived and showed that drain who was boss. (Clearly them, not us.) And, they even offered me product recommendations to prevent them from coming back out again. Sweet! Next time: passing on the plunger and picking up the phone first.
