Now, they are sending predatory, inflated bills to a completely different address trying to force us to pay for a service that never happened. On top of that, ever since I gave them my contact info, I have been targeted by 10 to 15 spam calls and texts EVERY SINGLE DAY. They clearly sold or leaked my phone number. Absolute scam. My husband drained the old hot water heater, disconnected it, returned it to Home Depot and then purchased the new one, brought it home, took it in our house so that when the mechanics arrived at our home at 10:04 AM all they had to do was take it down the basement and make 4 connections. My husband also saved the fittings from the old hot water heater that were an exact fit for the new one. There was NO retrofitting, just connecting. As I stated they arrived at 10:04 AM and left at 10:45 AM. 41 minutes and the job was complete. They charged us $600. for 41 minutes of work. In my humble opinion, NOTHING justifies that. I want to buy and use local services, however, I do not want to get ripped off!!!
