I cannot recommend this company enough. We had a sewer backup and contacted Smith Drain on the advice of Oxford Plumbing. Theresa immediately answered the phone , contacted her husband and we had an appointment the following morning. Ron showed up on time and I immediately knew that I had called the right people. He was extremely friendly, gathered some information from me and got to work right away. He patiently and methodically troubleshot the problem and ultimately had to pull the toilet to locate the blockage with his camera. A short while later the clog was dislodged and I was able to visually verify that the cast iron pipe under the slab was in good shape. Ron left the worksite spotless. On one of the coldest days so far this winter the sewer drain pipe became blocked in a vacation rental which was occupied by a family of four, leaving them with no ability to use water or bathroom facilities. It was an enormous inconvenience for them, and a challenge for us to find a competent, timely fix. It was a Sunday afternoon with weather forecast of snow turning to freezing rain. We succeeded in getting an appointment for the following day, but the plumber who responded did not have the equipment or training to clear the blockage, promising a drain specialist could return in two days. Fortunately, we were referred to Smith Drainage Solutions the following day. The person who took my call was very understanding, promised a same day response between 11 and 1 pm. and followed up to let us know his final ETA of 12:30. Ron, the service technician, could not have been more professional. Within an hour and a half our guests had full service.
