We initially called in another plumber, and he and his boss felt very strongly that a hairline crack in the pan of our master shower was causing the issue. They came back with an estimate of $7,000 to redo the entire master shower (and vanity). What? We called Bommer Plumbing for a second opinion and boy, are we glad we did. Jim arrived right on time and he worked with my husband and me to troubleshoot the leak. He spent close to 90 minutes at our place. Long story short, the culprit of the leak was worn caulk along the top of of the master shower basin, NOT a hairline crack. We all cheered when the source was found! We saved thousands of dollars with this (accurate) diagnosis. And he even pointed out a potential issue with the electric source for our downstairs bathroom fan. Jim was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and hilarious. We were cracking jokes like old buds. He was awesome! And office staff is super friendly. They keep you apprised of your plumber's whereabouts on the day of your appointment. They even send a picture of your plumber so you know what they look like ahead of time. This was a great touch and much appreciated, as you can never be too careful these days. I cannot recommend this company enough. Now, you can imagine that we aren't the only ones with frozen pipes right now (it's 26°f today, and down to around 3° last night) , so I expected a wait before they could come out to help. Nope!
