David was extremely professional, clear patient and thorough. For our second call to him we had some minor flooding in the basement caused by our AC and the moisture sensor he had installed the prior time was triggered shutting off the unit (thank goodness otherwise the flooding could have gotten quite bad). To our surprise he insisted on no charge for this visit, just on the off chance that the issue was caused by any potential oversights in his prior service. That shows a ton of integrity, we will definitely stick with Marty's in the future!

I had questions about rebates for heat pumps and he had answers about rebates, rough costs and advantages of the new heat pumps. He reiterated that we didn't need to change out our current equipment but if we feel it's important for environmental reasons there are good options. We'll definitely be using them going forward, and have a fall furnace checkup scheduled.

On the first cold day this winter he claims the heater is all rusted out in the exchanger and has to be replaced, along with the entire system because a new heater can't work with an old air conditioner. Our neighbor suggested we call their guy. He's been in business for 30 years. Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney. The outside air conditioner was only 10 years old. I'm convinced SK had never done anything other than collect their fee and try to sell stuff we didn't want or need.

Later that evening I reached around my toilet and felt water from the connection , so they sent a guy out and he said he wouldn't fix it and started writing an estimate , so I kicked him out of my house , so I took a pair of small channel locks and fixed the dripping in a half turn of the supply connection nut on a compression fitting , dumb plumbers , I flew off the handle and deservedly so they wanted $599.41 to fix it
