I needed a new faucet, a couple of toilets, and a fix for my shower. These guys will be my plumbers from now on. Dennis was assigned to my house and he gave us a good estimate and then got the work done quickly and well. A couple of months later, my shower handle quit working and I called them and Dennis came by and fixed it that day. I was lucky enough that he had the part on the truck but still, just getting to stop by that day would have been great. First, let me say if I could have given BUDGET ROOTER zero stars I would have. I am a widow, who recently moved to a tiny 1300 square-foot, two bath house in Delaware, I started to have a problem with my tub in the master bath draining up into the shower, and under the toilet in the master, and also under the toilet in the main bathroom, flooding both. Being new to the area I had no clue who to call. I found BUDGET ROOTER online and because they are local I called them BIG MISTAKE! I was impressed when Mike and a helper showed up the same day. I told him what was going on, and he proceeded to put water in the tub to determine that it was indeed draining into the shower and pouring out from under the toilets. He informed me that the main Drain needed to be cleaned. I gave him the OK to proceed, $810 later, $425 to remove the specialty toilet(??) and $385 to clean the drain. Not long after he comes out and shows me a couple pieces of what look like rocks and declares the drain is clear, awesome right? WRONG! I went away for five days and when I came back and soaked in the tub, SURPRISE. when I drained it, water went everywhere, up into the shower and under the main toilet. That morning I called BUDGET ROOTER and told them the exact same thing happened again, luckily they would send someone out ASAP. Mike showed up. He proceeds to tell me this is a separate issue with the front of the main drain and it would be another $810. ($1620 to clear the sewer line in a 1300 square-foot rancher??), lucky for me my BF was at my house and questioned Mike about why he didn't clear the entire line (which I thought he did since he knew the main bath was also flooding) Mike went from 0 to 100 real quick. He got very loud and rude, accusing us of saying he didn't know how to do his job. (He obviously don't) after several minutes of nastiness, and my boyfriend wanting to speak to his boss, he informed us he wasn't arguing anymore and ran to his truck as fast as his little legs could carry him, to call his boss. lying about what happened isnt beneath Mike, so when my BF did talk to his boss, along with the master plumber, both were rude and condesending, then accused me of clogging the drain myself within a week, (most of the time I wasn't there) FYI, they also have a 30 day guarantee on work done, that's a joke. A couple of days later I called another company, Mr. ROOTER, they sent a gentleman out. I told him the exact same problem I was having, he removed the toilet and cleaned the main drain (sound familiar?) I have a picture of the clog he removed, they charged me $461 for the job. In closing...do I feel like I got ripped off by BUDGET ROOTER YES! did I get nothing for my $810. NOTHING! did I learn a valuable lesson about companies like BUDGET ROOTER taking advantage of women/widows, who know nothing about plumbing ALSO YES! please beware of BUDGET ROOTER I'd hate to see this happen to any other women. read more

(day after July 4) to see when they could send someone out to see why my bath tub was not draining..Within half hour Austin arrived and proceeded to work on my problem..Kept me informed every step of the way and was so friendly and courteous..I need to have a water line hooked up in my new frig and will def call this company again...The girl who answered the phone was even great!..Excellent customer service..Call these guys if you have plumbing issues..You won't be sorry! read more

Landlord called in clogged bathroom sink, what at first seemed like a timely, professional place went all to crap when a problem happened. The owners grandson came out and damaged my floor and sink. I requested someone come out to assess damages, they wanted to send the person who damaged. I questioned and was treated nasty. This family owned business is rude and unprofessional. They did send another person and he looked and stated should of been snaked below elbow under sink. It was snaked above, pressure cracked 2 sides of my sink and has damage marks from snake on sink and on silver drain part. Not even sure no drain/pipe damage. I was told they would fix it and werent that type of business. Well here we are 3 weeks later having to call back, being treated nasty and no repair. BUYER BEWARE read more

I just had Budget Rooter at my house to open a bathroom drain with Mike C. He could not open the drain and the company had the nerve to charge me $145.00 for him coming out and not fixing the problem. he needed me to open the wall so he could get to the pipe and than charge me $245.00 more to clear the drain. This past weekend I had a major problem with my kitchen sink not draining. I tried everything to fix the problem but nothing worked. Our kitchen was a complete disaster. Dirty dishes everywhere. Needless to say I needed a plumber asap. I looked on yelp for a local plumber. I came across budget rooter and I was very happy because of the fact that they were the only company that I was able to get service the same day. Not only did they come out the same day, but they came out within 2 to 3 hours. I was shocked how fast they arrived at my house. When the service man, Tony Sales, came inside he presented himself in a very professional manner. I explained the entire situation to him and he told me exactly what the problem was, how it happened, and how he could fix it. He also answered all of my other plumbing questions related to this problem. I will say I was a little skeptical of how easily he said he could fix the problem. Nevertheless I gave him the go-ahead to proceed. A short time later he called me in to the kitchen to show me what he did. I was absolutely amazed. He told me that he pretty much cleaned The entire pipe. The kitchen sink drained perfectly. He filled the kitchen sink halfway with water turned on the disposal and the water drained perfectly. I was very impressed from start to finish. The customer service over the phone as well as in person was fantastic. I would recommend this company to anyone. I had a leak in my main water line to my house and I was referred to Budget Rooter through my warranty plan. Everyone was simply amazing. All businesses could learn from Budget Rooter. They are all courteous, professional and friendly. I could tell that everyone really enjoyed their job and truly take pride in what they do. Amanda kept in constant touch with updates and arrival times. Tony (I think that was his name) who came out first to inspect the situation was thorough and explain the next steps. Then when Austin and crew arrived they did a great job repairing the line. Within 2hrs, they had the yard dug up, repaired the line and filled back in. They even offered to reschedule since it recently rained and they didn't want to tear up my yard with the excavator.
