Everything leaked so they definitely had their challenges and they were good at helping me only replace the most critical components. The only downside is I found their pricing to be on the (very) high side. I understand good plumbers are never inexpensive but they are pricey. I've worked with several of their techs and they all know their stuff. The work was flawless!

Avoid this company at all costs! I called them during a highly stressful emergency when my sump…read morepump overflowed and my basement was actively flooding. When I called, they told me it would be a FREE ESTIMATE. However, another company happened to show up at the exact same time due to an online inquiry I had started. Because the other tech was already there looking at the pump, I sent the Delaware Plumbing tech away without him ever lifting a finger or doing a diagnosis. The tech immediately got aggressive and demanded a $65 dispatch fee just for pulling into my driveway. I NEVER signed anything agreeing to this fee, and I shouldn't have to pay a dime for a "free estimate" where zero work was done. When I refused to pay, things got disgusting. I called their office to sort it out and spoke to Linda, the woman who took my initial appointment. She was incredibly hostile and explicitly threatened to send me to collections over a measly $65! They even text-blasted a voice recording of my emergency phone call to my phone as a petty bullying tactic to scare me. Trying to extort and harass a homeowner while their house is actively flooding is predatory. These companies should be ashamed of themselves. It is disgusting--all about the money! Delaware Plumbing sucks. Linda and the rest of this company can kick rocks!

I had a few yard related tasks to do and requested Yelp project quotes. Sunny's got back with a…read morepreliminary quote and I provided pictures of work needed to firm up the quote. The cost went up slightly but still beat competitors' pricing. They provided a time convenient to me and were able to get bulk yard waste removed, trim back some hedges and repair bug screens in an afternoon. I would use them again for similar work. They do all sorts of handyman work in and outside the house.

I saw this service off of Yelp, and decided to try them out for requesting an estimate. When I…read morefirst made an appointment, the person was going to be late and my schedule was jam packed. I ended up deciding to cancel that appointment and made another one. On my second request, I initially said "any time on a particular Friday." They gave me a range of 9-11 AM on a Sat and I asked if they could come in at 9 AM and they said yes. They ended up coming in right before 11 AM. So, I can understand that I needed to try to pick a time interval to be available rather than a time, okay. I gave them some stars for working with me and being professional for the in-person estimate itself. I was then told that I would receive an estimate over the phone in the same day some hours later. I requested by e-mail instead and was told that this was fine. During a time period of two weeks and two days after that, I had made three phone calls. I left voice mails twice and got through one time, the 2nd time I believe. I was told that the estimate was mixed up with something else and that it would be coming out. I'm not sure if they want to work with me or not, but at least it would be nice to let me know that instead of running me around. For potentially big jobs, my reasonable concern of not being able to receive an estimate by e-mail (or snail mail physical copy) makes me feel like there would be a he-said-she-said dynamic if I went for this. For smaller jobs, it isn't such a big loss and they seem like they do good work from the other reviews and my interaction with the attendant during the estimate. They may not be the most pronounced with their words, but I was willing to consider them with the other good reviews and them being local to me. With the lack of an estimate by e-mail, it made me wonder if the company or someone in the company has a PA license number. I would like to presume yes, but I couldn't find one personally based on company name. I know the search engine isn't the best if you don't have the actual license number to look up. If there are any updates/changes to this review or if it's proper for me to write another review as I can't update this one after about a month, then I will do so. I've strongly considered and tried to rate my experience as fairly as possible, and I really feel that Sunny's services could've done much better with their interactions in working with me after the estimate was completed.

However, once we went to my basement to look at the pipes, he sat on my workout bench and started using my weights without asking. Later, he sat on my sofa upstairs, again without permission. I let it go at the moment because the conversation was going well. I also mentioned a bad experience my mother had with a previous contractor and simply asked if his work came with any type of guarantee. He took it the wrong way and became defensive. Later, his secretary called me about a payment plan, which I explained I would consider once I had the money ready. The next day, she called back saying the plumber decided not to do the work -- and shortly after, he texted me saying: "WHY WOULD YOU CALL A PLUMBER AND YOU HAVE NO MONEY WASTE OF TIMES." That message alone shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect. When I called the company to report it, the secretary defended his behavior instead of apologizing. I do not recommend this company at all. Experience means nothing without professionalism, manners, and respect for clients.

I just wanted to remind you also, that Rick is always on denial when taking the complains. His work was very bad and caused additional leaks. She said the guy "was down in the basement for about 7 hrs". Im like doing what!! The "return plenium" he fabricated was made out of some sort of insulated cardboard material. Nothing thats going to last years. And certainly nothing worth the price. Onto the price I got a call that the total cost would be $2657. I thought thats high but no big deal. It wasnt until I got home & saw the work that I knew it was a blatent scam. They left the heat turned up to 88 to make it look like the system was working better. After it was all said & done it was determined that I only had 400 cfm & not 1000-1200 that the system needed to run right. Essentially i had "incorrect system" installed by previous owner. Being professionals they could have diagnosed this issue & sold me the correct system but they just put crap in & took the money. Other people leave great reviews so I assume they "chose" to rip me off.
