We have used Donlon Plumbing several times for several properties. At all times they have been prompt, courteous, and provided me all of the information I need to make a educated decision regarding the maintenance of my properties. They just did a great job replacing a tankless water heater very promptly so our tenant would not be without hot water. That is very helpful to me. I recommend Donlon Plumbing to everyone. read more

Donlon saved the day again!!! We've always used Donlon for our non-emergency plumbing repairs. Last night was different. Late in the evening, we discovered a large trail of water in our garage that we traced to a nearby wall. We were concerned, and knew it needed to be repaired, but did not panic... until we looked on the other side of the wall that is our exterior entryway, and saw our house "weeping" through the siding. It suddenly became an urgent situation. At 7:30 the next morning I called Donlon and explained the problem. They were able to get a technician to our home within the hour, and the leak was successfully located and repaired within 2 hours. Joey was the ultimate pro, and quickly assessed the problem by feeling the wall, following water discoloration, and checking the water meter. Lining up with a faucet on the exterior wall, he determined the path of the vertical pipe that would lead to the leak up top. He cut two small squares ~ 1 in the ceiling, 1 at the top of the wall, and immediately detected the pinhole leak right where he cut. From there, he went to work expertly removing & replacing the damaged pipe. The entire experience, from my phone call to completion of the repair was a little over 2 hours!!! I give Donlon 5 stars ~ for fantastic customer service, as well as friendly, knowledgeable & skilled technicians. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Donlon for all your plumbing needs. read more

Ok so, i am compelled to write this review, not to bash but to offer some friendly advice. I gave three stars not because quality of plumbing work, they know what they are doing and do it good, i gave the three stars because the cleanliness of the job site while they are working and clean up. I have 4 kids and several small animals. Since i set up several appts with them on days i am home from work ( my days to laundry and clean house) i realize my house isn't put together as it normally is, but cutting into walls with not putting plastic down on the floors and going from inside to outside constantly tracking a ton of dirt and dust throughout my home isn't ok. It's just not professional. The first visit i had just swept my whole house, and was waiting for them to leave so i could mop, trying to stay out of their way, i stayed in one room, after they left, literally white foot marks and debris everywhere they walked. I was not happy at all, how do you and your workers not see the mess your tracking into people's homes? The second visit, i came into the laundry room, where they had cut into the roof, again no plastic down anywhere the dirt and dust all over my washing machine and dryer, all over the floor, they walked through it all tracking it throughout my downstairs , stairs , up the hallway all the way to my sons bedroom. It was everywhere, i said " i hope your going to clean all this up when your done" and he said yes of course which one of the workers did wipe it almost all down. In the laundry room they swept, but white dust was still their and in my hallway mats ( i will need to pull outside and hose down) the garage was all swept up but when i went in my sons closet to see the work, they left a completely exposed wall, and dirt and dust all over the floor. I am happy i caught it because my cat or dog could have walked right into the house walls, not to mention spiders and such able also to come through. Honestly i would not have even left this review, except this is now the second time i am cleaning up after their mess, and i feel it's extremely unprofessional to leave someone's home like this. My advice: if you decide to use this company- i would insist they wear botties in your home, and place paper or plastic down to protect your items and home. If the owner of this business sees this review, please teach all your workers to maintain professionalism and to not tract nastiness all over peoples homes. The lack of respect is not ok - sorry not sorry read more

Mark and Andy came out to open a clogged kitchen drain. After using a snake and finding no obstruction, the problem still wasn't solved. Both men were disappointed. Then Mark observed that the back flow was filled with the same food particles that he had observed before cleaning the drain pipe. He realized that the clog was in one of the pipes immediately under the sink...he took it apart and voila! There was the clog, blocking about 50% of the pipe opening. Problem solved! Thanks to Mark's keen observation and Andy's skill. I had felt confident when I called Donlon Plumbing. This is the third time I've used them and each time the job was done to my satisfaction and the price was more than fair. read more

Great customer service, got me seen asap, no issues after incident was fixed highly recommended.

It's Baseball Season now and I had 5 plumbing jobs to get done. When you go 5 for 5 in baseball your an All Star! When your plumber does it, they get little credit. I went to the Bullpen and called Donlon! If there not in your lineup then put them on the team. Those guys hit homers!!! Thanx Guys-now I can relax and watch baseball ! Newby read more

Our hot water stopped working, Donlon sent a tech out the next morning (it was non-urgent and we were fine with waiting). The tech, Joey, called before arriving and was courteous and professional the whole time. He also made sure to check more than just the water heater to ensure that we didn't have any other issues and was happy to switch out a pipe fixture on the patio while doing the maintenance on the heater. Not the first time we've called Donlon and it won't be the last. read more

They cant unclogged a kitchen sink. And their 30 days warranty is a sham....Please stop calling us. Thank you.

Donlon Plumbing continues to be an important cog in our property management directory. We recommend Donlon Plumbing for any plumbing repair whether it is an emergency after hours call or weekend service. read more

Donlon was responsive, friendly, and reasonably priced when we recently had to have the seal under our toilet replaced. They scheduled someone right away and the plumber who came out did a great job, cleaned up perfectly, and put a nice, neat caulk bead along the bottom of the toilet at the floor. We will call them next time. read more

I called Donlon Plumbing, they were able to come in and fix the problem the same day I called. Raul provided excellent service. He was very professional and very knowledgable. Thank you Dolan Plumbing for your excellent service read more

I remember when Donlon was professional and honest in their quotes and level of service. Yesterday, they came to my home to fix a "burping" sound from the toilet. They quoted mid-$80's or mid $120's for after hours. To my utter dismay, they charged me mid-$180's for the 5:15 PM service and needed me to complete a very "long" form to use my credit card. Surprised doesn't describe my shock! He fixed the noise. However to my surprise, I found my bath mat soaking wet and soiled on the bathroom floor after he left. I'll NEVER call them again! read more

The management company our rental is through uses Donlon and I have never been disappointed by them. Service is almost always same day and the employees are courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they come in, fix the issue all in a timely manner. No idea as to how much they charge since it all goes through our management company, but I will say I would imagine they are reasonable....knowing our management company. ;) read more

Boy oh boy, it's great to find a plumber who actually knows what he's doing! Seems to be a rare find these days. Called Donlon on Wednesday afternoon, set an appointment for Thursday afternoon. I suggested to them if they can come earlier, please do. Got a call from Donny Mays late Thursday AM asking if we could do aprox. 11:30 AM. Great; a plumber showing up early instead of late, like most of 'em. 1st really good takeaway -- Donlon is fast to respond & easily meets their time commitments. Next, the services I hired them to do were done quickly and quite professionally. The work was done without any drama and the worksites were completely cleaned-up. The fees charged were reasonable. Not cheap (like anything is these days?) but it was fair. 2nd good takeaway -- Donon does professional work, doesn't overcharge, doesn't over-do the work needed, and in general proved themselves to be to ethical. We will definitely hire Donny Mays again if and when more plumbing issues arise. read more

I had a messed up gasket in the shower handle, which made the water run non stop. This was also 10pm and I had a sleeping baby in the room next door. Art was the on-call plumber. He answered the phone right away (I called 4 other places before and either they had no emergency contact or they didn't answer the emergency numbers, also they never called back). Right away he figured out what the problem was, was hienst about the price and his Eta. He was super professional, fixed the issue promptly and explained what happened. I was pretty aggravated initially when I called just because of the stress of it, but he was super cool and stayed cheerful. Oh and all this, and baby never woke up! I really, really appreciate the work. Thank you! read more

A waste of my time & money! Yesterday I paid $125 to fix running toilet that started running again an hour after Donlon tech supposedly fixed & left. I called his cell, he said he'd come back before 5pm...no show or call. I called Donlon's office next morning, they said they'd be out between 3-5pm same day, 2nd day, no show, no call again. I will be replacing the toilet, but not with Donlon Plumbing. By the way I love giving good Yelp reviews, so this was a big disappointment & a waste of $125 very sad! read more

We needed to replace our mid 80's installed copper plumbing as it seems we were one of the few in our neighborhood that did not have a serious problem from a leak. We choose Donlon plumbing based on the many good reviews on Yelp and we were not disappointed. The night before the scheduled repipe we also decided to convert to a tankless water heater. Even with such short notice Peter was able to provide a top rated unit at a reasonable price. To do the repipe he sent a crew of nine plumbers so they could basically complete the repipe in one day. There were a few things remaining to be done the next day but all in all I was surprised how quickly they were done. The crew were all courteous hardworking gentlemen who cleaned up after themselves. Now we are considering a water softening system and I am sure we will look to Donlon plumbing to provide. read more

Flooded second floor and first floor after Donlon plumber installed a new valve for my bathtub on second along with a drain. Electrical ruined in walls along with water damage to drywall. When I called and spoke with the owner his response was " I underbid the job anyway". As if that substantiated the damage to my home. Their plumber failed to solder around the entire span of the copper pipe. I cannot and will never recommend them unless you want your home damaged by an incompetent plumber. read more

Mark and his associate (I feel terrible that I didn't get his name) were really outstanding. I would encourage anyone to use Donlon Plumbing after my experience with this amazing company, especially after the nightmare I experienced just days before with another well known plumbing company. Hi All, Just wanted to let anyone know that if you looking for a Plumbing Service, These guy's are super. I had a Clogged Kitchen Sink and Toilet with a slow flush. I called 6 services and 2 answered. Arlene and Vic were super professional and courteous. Vic came out immediately and unclogged my backed up sink in 20mins. (Very reasonable price). He then proceeded to try and unclog my toilet, There was a cell phone that 1of my sons friends dropped in that I was not aware of.. Ha Ha.. He had to remove the toilet and tried to remove it for 30-40mins.. Anyway, He could not and I have to buy another but He did not charge me extra.. In fact he explained exactly what to do and how to replace it if I chose to do so myself.. What a professional. I Highly Recommend the Business. read more

My house has needed plumbing services on 3 different occasions the past year and have called on Donlon Plumbing each time. I've had a backed up main pipe the first two times and most recently a pipe leak/seepage issue. The plumbers that came to my house on the different calls were Hector, Mauricio and Doni. Each one was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. It's refreshing to find people who are honest and fair in their pricing. Thank you guys for doing a good job and providing excellent service! read more

Could not be any happier with the removal and replacement of my old water heater today by the excellent plumbers from Donlon Plumbing. The installation was greatly upgraded from the original installation configuration, and additional safety features were added that were not included in the install by the previous installer. The installers were really great guys, and obviously very knowledgeable professionals. I would not consider any other plumbing contractor for any other plumbing needs that may arise in my home in the future. Thanks for the great work you did today, you went above and beyond the normally expected standards read more

I had the worst experience with Donlon Plumbing. Not sure if their staff changed or what since I see some good reviews from last year, but this year seems to be consistent with poor customer service and experience. I'm honestly surprised the woman working at the office, MARIELLA, even still has her job. When we called to follow up because the plumber sent out, Quinton, had came to inspect our ceiling for a bathtub leak she kept cutting me and my husband off and talking over us. She did not want to listen to us explain what happened..PERIOD. She was so defensive and it was so unprofessional that I needed to take time away from my break at work to argue with her. What happened was that the plumber came to inspect and diagnosed us with a leak, but he said he needed a taller ladder and that he'd be back in an hour. After reviewing the visit note, she told us he reported that we did not want any work done! She insisted that that was what happened. Like I wasted my own time sending someone out because I didn't want any work done. I am in a medical profession where someone's integrity means something and I expect if someone tells me they will be back, that they will follow through with what they said. If you don't want to do your job, then there are plenty of other people out there looking to do honest work. Then of course when It was the final straw for me and I was bout ready to write this review and move on to the next company, it was "oh, let us send someone out there now to do what we should have done the first time..let us move forward from this and please don't write the review". I'm writing this because I feel employees and company's should be held accountable for wasting people's time and a plumber should not be paid for paying a visit and doing literally nothing. read more

Our first two experiences with Donlon Plumbing were top notch & that was the reason for calling them with the current issue. I called on 3/31 requesting an appt for a technician to repair a leaking toilet. I was given a window of 10am-12pm on 4/1. I know every job is different and that my window could change a little before they arrive. I do think if it becomes much later that a courtesy call to the customer is deserving. At 12:30pm I had heard nothing so I called to ask if there was an update on when the technician would arrive. The clerk (I later learned her name is Mata or Mara) told me there were several emergencies and the next available tech would head my way. I totally understood. At 2:30pm I again called to question the tech's arrival time and was again told I would be next. At 3:30pm I called again and the same clerk told me she had called me to confirm I still wanted a tech to come out and I didn't answer so the tech went on to another job. That was the most bold faced lie I had ever heard. My phone was glued to me and it never rang & I had no missed call. I questioned what number she had called (as maybe she wrote it down wrong). She was very argumentative with me that she had called and left a message. I asked her what time she called me. She couldn't say. Then she told me the technician had shown up at my door and knocked and nobody answered. Bold faced lie #2. I assured her he did not show up at MY door as I was sitting outside within 2 feet of my front door in view. Next she asked if I still wanted a technician sent out and I assured her I did. Finally, at 4:00pm technician Clinton showed up. He never came to my front door either. I had to go outside and walk up to the truck which was parked several condos down from mine to see if he was there for my appointment. Clinton couldn't have been nicer and solved my leaking toilet issue within five minutes! I'm still not happy that I sat and waited from 10am until 4pm with absolutely NO communication from the plumbing company explaining the delay or asking if I wanted to reschedule, etc. My time is just as valuable as the next one's. Not sure I will ever use this company again. read more
