The receipt.

I asked DoneRite to replace the drain lines under my kitchen sink and when I seen the bill I was like WTF . $851.37 for 8 pieces of black PVC pipe! You're kidding right. Nope. My wife was the one at home so she thought I had got a quote from them already so when they told her how much it was, she's like ok I guess. Then I seen the bill when I got up. (I had just had dental surgery) so I was completely knocked out still in bed from that. Bottom line is they completely took advantage of her. Then when I called them to get a break down of the job, they said that they don't do that anymore and no one else does that either. So I have no idea how much they actually charge me for parts and then how much they charge me for labor because there's no breakdown of it. The manager even said that they gave me a $200 discount, but I have no idea what the discount was for what was military discount repeated customer discount lying through your teeth discount. They couldn't even show me on the receipt where it was supposed to been $1051 and then they discounted the $200 because none of that shows on here so he could just be lying through his ass about the discount. Don't use these people. They are completely dishonest.

Old plumbing still there

Bought my house which donerite did all there new plumbing for water lines. They left all the old plumbing on walls, crawlspace, etc. Just removed my shower walls. All the plumbing was just hanging there for its life. Absolutely a terrible job. I wouldn't recommend this company. They charged 12 thousand dollars for something that another company could do for half the price. Outrageous pricing for poor work they do. As you can see the picture this is one of the showers they replaced valves and water lines. I can't imagine how the other shower is. I'm a contractor myself and I wouldn't hire this company nor recommend it. Be careful who you hire or you can get scammed

This company was hired through a general contractor. Overall the company did a good job. However, we had several issues throughout. This was a whole home renovation, new piping, water heater, fixtures, and changes along the way. The crews were diligent and good workers (caveat below); courteous and responsive to query. Some were very green, but they had supervision. We had a hot water circulating pump installed on our system. They installed the pump (see picture) and I requested they do a better job than what they had; they obliged. During install we discussed a air purge valve to be installed on the pump return to prevent cavitation. It wasn't installed. A hose bib installed by them wasn't the correct length, it cannot be fixed to the siding. It hasn't been replaced. I called them today to arrange installation of of an air purge valve, service the heat pump water heater they installed, drain the tank, and replace the hose bib. I'm happy to pay for services. They don't install air purge valves, and apparently, they don't service water heaters they sell. I wonder if they can manage the hose bib swap. I remind myself, I caught one of their employees going through a desk drawer of mine in the midst of our renovation. I brought this to the attention of the foreman and their project manager Travis (who no longer works there apparently); I demanded the employee be removed from the site. I requested contact from the owner of the company and did not get it. I was advised the journeyman was terminated; sometime later I was advised the employee was still working for Donerite. I genuinely hoped they would support the customer, they had some good employees who did did good work. I'll find someone else, I encourage you to do the same.

Roger and Rodney showed up on time at 10 am, crawled under the house, and ended up quoting us on a new water line.

Last week, when the system was not functioning, two technicians came out and worked on the issue. They were professional and courteous, and we appreciated their efforts. However, the next morning the same problem occurred, and the house was again without heat. When I called to report the issue, my first call was routed to an answering service and I did not receive a return call. I called again and reached someone at the business. When I explained that the system was still not working and the person responsible for paying the bills was understandably upset, the woman who answered responded by saying, " That doesn't matter to me." I found this response dismissive and completely inappropriate, particularly given the amount of money we have spent with your company and the urgency of the heating issue. As a result of both the unresoved issues and this interaction, we will not be using Mill Creek again, nor recommending your services to others.

Every person that I have interacted with at Mill Creek has been incredible. From the estimator to…read morethe front desk to the installation team, all fantastic. I had a 40-year-old furnace in my house and I wanted to upgrade to have AC. Justin walked me through every possible option that I had and explained the differences between the options (including long-term, and short-term savings). They were able to look up any discounts and rebate programs with my electric and gas company and apply those. I never felt pressured to buy anything or to pick one option over the other. I ended up replacing the entire unit and opting for a heat pump. I have a family member that does HVAC in another state, and I asked him to review my estimates to make sure I wasn't being overcharged or ripped off. He said that all of the estimates were priced right where they should be and there wasn't anything I was being offered that I didn't need. I'm very happy with Mill Creek. 10/10.

They didn't charge for the service call and had an estimator, Omar, out here the same day. He laid out all the options and we chose our new HVAC. They scheduled our install for the following week, which is unheard of in this post-pandemic world. Randolph and Bryan showed up on time and were quick in their work. They completed the install and clean up by early afternoon and took measurements for a new custom door to cover the HVAC system. Today Andrey came to install the custom door. He was also quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, everyone involved from start to finish was top notch. The entire process only took three weeks, as compared to five months to replace a broken garage door in 2021 and a year to replace our kitchen in 2022. We already trusted Air Stars because we had them install Mitsubishi ductless units 18 months ago in our granny unit (to replace baseboard and wall heaters and to add A/C). We are very pleased with Air Stars and would recommend them.

They do not honor their work warranty. They came out to my house which had a clogged sewer drain…read more I told them clearly where I suspect the clog was. The decided to clear out a different part of the line such that water was barely flowing. Upon having to come out the second time (6 days later) when the house was backed up again, they found where the real issue was - exactly where I said it would be. They didn't have the right camera equipment to diagnose the issue and took the easiest approach to maximize their hourly rate. Their initial receipt said "30 day warranty" on the work. However, they charged full price to come out the second time. $550 for the first time, $750 for the second visit when he *actually* fixed the problem by popping the toilet. They should have either done the job correctly the first time, or honored their work warranty (which included diagnosing where an issue is) and reduced how much the second charge was. Just expect that they will do poor work the first time they come out to get your system in minimum working order just so they can bang you again shortly after. I would hire a different plumber that knows how to do the job correctly.
