We contacted ClearWater to get a second opinion/quote after having HPS come out and tell us we…read moreneeded a new tank and well pump, that everything was shot. Our realtor referred ClearWater to us. ClearWater came out the next day, 2 hours earlier than anticipated and saved us $8k dollars. They found that the previous company (HPS) put in a new box but didn't connect it correctly and that is why the pump was not working. After ClearWater connected the box correctly, the pressure gauge went up and the tank filled. The 2 techs spent so much time dumbing it all down so I could understand everything, explaining what to look for when it's not running correctly and showing me what repairs should be done, how it would benefit us and advised that there was no need to pull the pump from the well and replace. Do not use!!!! Terrible service!!! Had an issue with the pump coming on every 8 minutes. That meant…read morethe tank was draining 40 gals of water every 8 minutes. I called Mather which installed the pump in 2005 as I thought that the check valve was faulty. They sent a field man out and he checked the check valve and said the pump system was ok. My problem was that leaking 40 gals of water every 8 minutes will leave a real mess. I could not find a leak anywhere along the short run of line to the house and barn. I called them back after searching for the leak to ask some questions. After three days of talking to the receptionist and she telling me that someone would call and no one did, I called Leak Detectives. They came out and stated that the water was leaking back into the well through the pipe or check value, the outside lines where OK. I then called Mather's again as I had paid them 155.00 for the first call out. I was told by the receptionist stated that she would contact scheduling and get back to me. After a day and not hearing anything and with being out of water for almost a week I called another pump service. They were on the property within an hour and two hours later fixed the problem at a fraction of the price quoted by Mather. Poor, poor, poor service.
