After the install, they went over each piece with us, including the new fancy thermostat. The system is fantastic - it's so quiet - and it works great! However, their flat rate pricing resulted in my wife and me paying $790.42 for an hour's worth of actual plumbing work for what turned out to be two simple tasks--removing and installing a new faucet in the kitchen sink and draining our hot water heater. Roth Home's initial price for the faucet repair was $878.24. They also drained the hot water heater while they were here. We did not ask questions about what was involved and how long it would take (our mistake). When we questioned the charges after the work was done, we were given a 10% senior discount. Later they said we weren't charged the usual fee of $336 to drain the hot water heater. According to them, we were "only" charged $790.42 and received a "savings" of $423.82. Our recommendation is to ask questions and proceed with caution. Document what you are told (and by whom) and how long any work takes.

He had to get some more parts but then came back early the next day. We are so excited to have this working again, and so impressed with the efficiency, care, and helpful hints that he provided. I am very disappointed with the installation and the subsequent customer service I received…read more The new faucet that was installed became extremely loose shortly after installation, began leaking, and did not function properly. I have a video documenting these issues. Since the faucet was clearly not performing as it should, I purchased a replacement faucet and contacted the company to ask whether it could be installed as a replacement. I was informed that I would be charged an additional $325 for the installation. I found this charge unreasonable, particularly because I had paid $472 for the original installation just one day earlier and the faucet installed by the company was not functioning properly. I ultimately hired another plumber, who charged $150 and completed the replacement in approximately 20 minutes. During that process, it was discovered that the original faucet had been installed with plastic disks that restricted the water flow. Additionally, in attempting to tighten the faucet to prevent it from becoming loose again, the original plumber cracked the underside of the fixture. Unfortunately, the damage resulted in the faucet being broken, and I was therefore unable to return it. Given the cost of the original installation, the problems that developed immediately afterward, the additional charge requested to correct the issue, and the damage to the fixture, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the handling of the situation. I expected a significantly higher standard of service and workmanship for the amount I paid.

North Pacific came out and bid the replacement of the unit. They charged me $6k for the work which was higher than others but they seemed legitimate. The mini split they installed is woefully insufficient to cool the space. They have not responded to my repeated requests for a solution. Would not recommend.
