On a Friday evening, I reached out to several plumbers/companies, all of whom told me they would not be able to come out until the following week. A couple others who did respond gave me very spendy rates due to the weekend. Then Mario/owner from Bassin returned my call later in the day on Friday, apologizing for the delayed response ( he was busy responding to another customer crisis; "delayed" by a couple of hours). He said he could have somebody out the following day (Sat). Tim showed up arond 10:00 AM and resolved the issue in an hour, which entailed that he had to go under my house (Uggh!). His rate was more than fair, about half of what others wanted to charge. Even being that it was the weekend where the norm is to charge about double the price. So impressed. After talking with Tim I discovered that they also do bathroom remodels so that will be my next project with Bassin! Honest with resonable rates.. I recommend you call them at 503-308-9090! He ordered more than $1600 in extra fixtures he knew we did not need so that he could collect his commission from Morlan's, and promptly quit the job, claiming we were not ready. Mario never refunded me, and replied with belligerent rants each time I reminded him of his obligation. After 6 months, I filed a CCB complaint and he failed to respond to the CCB mediator. I have had to file a court order and am awaiting judgment.

I called Evergreen a couple of months ago because of a corroded, leaky pipe in the basement. Peter…read morecame by, gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable, and did the work quickly and efficiently. This was no small feat given the weird crawl spaces in my basement, that he had to crawl into in order to replace some pipes. Somehow he was amazingly cheerful about this! Of course, given my 1890 house, fixing that pipe uncovered a clog further along in the pipes that was stopping up my sink. So today James and Mason came out, cleaned it all out, showed me what the pipes look like on their very cool camera device, and now everything works like a charm. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and the estimates accurately reflected the final cost. All along, everyone I dealt with was great, from Marcus on the phone setting up the appointments, to Peter/James/Mason doing the work at the house. They were friendly, professional, explained everything, left everything neat and took care of the small details, and were very nice to and amused by my dog, who was doing his best to "help" their efforts. Haha, "help." Overall, this is now my only go-to place for plumbing/drainage problems - which are likely to be a recurring thing given the age of my house. I forget which other maintenance person recommended them, but I'm glad they did. I've had leaking pipes in the past where the leak was so bad that the water had to be shut entirely off, and the companies I dealt with then could never tell me anything more than "well, we're really busy, we MIGHT be able to get out there next week" etc. It was always nerve-wracking, calling different places to see which ones could come out first. I can't imagine that being an issue with Evergreen, given how prompt they've always been.

Posting again as the 2nd review I did seems to have disappeared. I don't recommend this business…read morebecause the estimators/inspectors they have sent out have made too many mistakes. They misdiagnosed a sump pump issue (was electrical, not plumbing issue) and immediately stated I had to replace entire pump (was not the case). They provided inaccurate information about a pipe offset which did not need to be fixed and put together a job for rain drains that would never work due to slope. All in all, I feel this company is rather predatory and high priced as well, and now do not trust them.

I admit the name made me giggle, and something about the nice, professional logo drew me in. There were some reviews there, and they were very favorable. So I gave him a call and got a time set up for him to come out and work on a hopelessly clogged drain. Something came up, and my husband and I were trying to juggle who could be there at the right time -- turns out neither could. So I called him the day before and asked if we could push the time back just a bit; he was really good in working with us to make it work, and not making a big deal out of it. He arrived in a meticulous white van with the company logo on it. He's prompt, professional, and very kind and hilarious. :) Clean and quick, he had conquered our minor drain problem the simplest way possible. (To be honest, I was expecting a trap replacement. Whew!) I couldn't be happier. I'll be happy to do business with him again in the future, and tell everyone I know that if they need a plumber, I know who they should call!

He didn't waste a second while he was here and also patiently explained the details of the problem so we could make an educated decision. We had a leak in the kitchen sink drain pipe on a horizontal section of piping in the ceiling below. All the work from beginning to end took less than three hours, which is no small feat considering he had to locate the pipe int he closed-off ceiling, which relied entirely on educated guesses. He also asked if we had any other things we wanted him to look at while he was there and he fixed two minor things in 5 minutes, which was invaluable.
