Lee our installer phoned an hour before he arrived to let us know he was on the way. Lee and his young apprentice did a very good and professional job including inlet shut off valve, leak detection valve, new hoses and soldering of fittings and earthquake bracing.. They hauled away the old heater and cleaned up any installation debris. It only took a couple hours.They were very polite and answered all of our questions. I am very happy with the entire job and the cost. This is the best and easiest way for someone who is not a DIY guy, and who is elderly to get your hot water heater replaced.

I have a video documenting these issues. Since the faucet was clearly not performing as it should, I purchased a replacement faucet and contacted the company to ask whether it could be installed as a replacement. I was informed that I would be charged an additional $325 for the installation. I found this charge unreasonable, particularly because I had paid $472 for the original installation just one day earlier and the faucet installed by the company was not functioning properly. I ultimately hired another plumber, who charged $150 and completed the replacement in approximately 20 minutes. During that process, it was discovered that the original faucet had been installed with plastic disks that restricted the water flow. Additionally, in attempting to tighten the faucet to prevent it from becoming loose again, the original plumber cracked the underside of the fixture. Unfortunately, the damage resulted in the faucet being broken, and I was therefore unable to return it. Given the cost of the original installation, the problems that developed immediately afterward, the additional charge requested to correct the issue, and the damage to the fixture, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the handling of the situation. I expected a significantly higher standard of service and workmanship for the amount I paid.

So today James and Mason came out, cleaned it all out, showed me what the pipes look like on their very cool camera device,and now everything works like a charm. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and the estimates accurately reflected the final cost. All along, everyone I dealt with was great, from Marcus on the phone setting up the appointments, to Peter/James/Mason doing the work at the house. They were friendly, professional, explained everything, left everything neat and took care of the small details, and were very nice to and amused by my dog, who was doing his best to "help" their efforts.
