Italian Parm wings
Ahmad W.

Delicious pizza with sweet sauce. Delicious wings. I got a pepperoni and beef pizza on my new bakery crust. I also got the Italian Parm wings Delicious. Great customer and at this location. Exceptional experience.

Pizza half plant based sausage spinach and mushroom half serious cheese

I ordered online. The online ordering experience is okay. Rewards were easy to use but it wouldn't let me order a day ahead. I had to come back and choose a time day of. When I got there the pizza was ready. It's clearly mostly fake out because only a couple tables were inside. My order came with a bag and some paper plates, seasoning and Parmesan. The pizza was good. It's definitely thin crust and I like a thicker crust which they did have but I wanted to try their original. It was good just I don't know if I'd go out if my way to try this place over others. One bonus for it though was the plant based sausage which was good to try.

First time at Donato's. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of online ordering and pickup! You can tell at first taste they take pride in fresh ingredients! I ordered the Skinny Pizza, cauliflower crust mozzarella and spinach pizza and the garlic cheesy bread. My favorite was the mozzarella and spinach. The atmosphere was cozy. The young lady at the counter was very nice. I'm glad they added a pizza place to the area that is not your typical chain pizza restaurant. I will be going again!

After months of wanting to try this place, I finally decided to pull the trigger. Customer Experience: 10/10 By trade, I'm a CX Coach, so I'm always on high alert and this was a great experience. I was greeted upon entering. And the manager, I think, took my order. I had questions bc I'd never been here before. He was very friendly, enthusiastic when answering. I witness this same interaction with his staff and other patrons. I decided to wait inside for my pizza and he didn't just call me up, he brought it to me, let me inspect it before leaving and also handed me a bag full of Parmesan cheese and paper plates. I thought that was super cool. Interior: very clean and organized. They had gender neutral bathrooms. There is limited space to eat inside, but not good for really large groups. Food: I ordered the "Thicker" meats pizza. It only comes in large but I didn't want thin crust. It was FULL of meat. But, I wish it had more cheese. The sauce wasn't bad. It killed my hankering for pizza, but I wasn't particularly wowed by it. Now, it's not bad at all. I just lived a good distance away, and would return if I'm on that side of town. Parking: free lot with plenty of spaces. Right next door to a gym, so have a pie and then go burn it off. Lol!

Donatos has arrived to Atlanta (Toco Hills)!

Nostalgic! My go-to pizza spot while a student at The Ohio State University. So pleased to see Donatos finally arrive to Atlanta! I got a large classic edge to edge pepperoni plus sausage. I received a warm welcome upon entering the restaurant. I like the special touch of writing a personal message on the box. I also appreciate the reserved parking spaces for Donato customers. Easy to find in the shopping plaza with LA Fitness. I'll be happy when I don't have to make a 30-minute drive just to get a Donatos pizza in my city.

Cauliflower Garden w/black olives

So excited to see Donato's Pizza has finally returned to Metro Atlanta! We've been craving it for the last 20+ years ever since they closed their location in Gwinnett off Sugarloaf Parkway! They got my husband and I hooked and then bounced. Rumor has it McDonalds bought them and then resold it to the original owners a few years later after closing several locations. Anywho, they are back and the pizza is as delicious as ever. My husband and I drove the 45 minutes to the Toco Hills location the very same day we discovered they had reopened. He ordered THE WORKS pizza (minus the mushrooms) and a Big Don Italian sub for his lunch the next day while I ordered the Cauliflower Garden (minus the plant-based sausage) and a Vegy sub. Yes, I also wanted it for my lunch the next day but after just a sample bite I couldn't resist eating one half of it. BAD DANI, bad!!! NOTE: The owner quickly remade my pizza after they forgot to remove the plant-based sausage as requested. He was so kind and apologetic. I really appreciated the gesture because it's hard for me to ask for anything to be remade, even when the error wasn't mine. I'd rather have just eaten it than make a fuss, but I was grateful that he insisted on correcting the error. THANK YOU!!! Good thing they are a considerable distance from our home or I might find myself foraging on their pizza and subs far more often than my girly figure would appreciate! But make no mistake about it, I'll be back soon and often :-) * limited seating PS - The next location to open will be Avondale Estates.

A pepperoni pizza without edges

I was very excited to see I had a Donatos nearby. At last a thin crust pizza I can appreciate from edge to edge with pepperoni. I love the edges of my pizza. I moved to Atlanta from Columbus Ohio and I love a good thin crust pizza, Tonight was my first time ordering pizza for delivery. I will not do that again. I am simply a person that enjoys my pizza hot. I order from places that still hired delivery drivers from within. My pizza was no where near warm. I didn't realize it was an outside silvery service until I received a text whereas I could track the delivery. On this night it was battle of the pizzas. We ordered from two different places at the same time. The competitors pizzas did arrive first. It was hot right out of the drivers hands. Mine not so much. I won't bother to go into detail about what was ordered. I just know it was not right. The cheese bread was mediocre at best. One person ate their entire piece. My pizza...let's just say it was missing some pieces. As an edge person you can only imagine how disappointed I was. The pizza arrived at 9:50 and at 9:51 I called the store 4 times and no one picked up. Throughly disappointed as the pizza was cold. But it was missing pieces . From the looks of the piece...that never made it into the box. I was so frustrated I forgot to take a I picture of the garlic cheese bread. Service was great taking the call in order. But the product and delivery not good at all. Is it me or are pieces of my pizza missing? $27 pizza plus $5 tip. #neveragain

Paid $42 for 2 large pizzas. Quality somewhere around Dominos, Papa John's, etc. So not terrible but just not worth the price. Was also really looking forward to the edge-to-edge pepperonis they advertise but guess those are just for the website pictures. Staff was nice.

Worse pizza drenched in honey. Not worth the price and not in the same league as Italian Pie.

The food was good, but we didn't get the salads we ordered. We've called 3 times and keep getting transferred and then hung up on.

The ambiance is lovely, the crowd was great, and the place had a really cool vibe. I visited after hearing so much hype online, and it absolutely lived up to it. I tried two burgers and both were delicious with perfectly cooked smash patties. The standout for me was the "That Shit Slambing" -- a smashed lamb burger loaded with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, jalapeños, and Che Sauce on a soft brioche bun. Packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I also tried the "Patti Labelle," a patty melt made with a Superior Angus beef patty topped with pastrami, Swiss, cheddar, mustard, and chipotle aioli on their Big Beautiful Bread, served with fries. The bread was incredibly fresh and honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The only thing I'd change is the fries -- they could have been a bit crispier. Other than that, everything was excellent. Overall, this is a must-visit spot for every burger lover in Atlanta, and it's definitely a place I'd keep coming back to.

Overall really solid place…read more Very clean setup and loved the atmosphere and vibes here. Felt like a spot that takes pride in what it is doing. I ordered the "That S**** Slambin" burger and it was good. Had a unique herb sauce flavor that I actually enjoyed and made it stand out a little from a normal burger. Fries were delicious. That being said, after looking at other reviews and pictures, I honestly think I should have tried the Patti Labelle or one of the bigger burgers. Feel like that might have been the thing that really blew me away and would give me a 5. This is definitely the kind of place I'm going to keep exploring. I'll be back a few more times and could easily upgrade the review if I find the right order. Price felt fair for what you get, service was nice, and overall I'd definitely come back.

It's a walk up window spot with the menu and a bell, when you're ready to order, ring the bell. The service is friendly and succinct. Non invasive and just helpful without asking when needed. The seating area is a mix between covered and uncovered, with a small speaker playing contemporary tunes at a respectable level. There are string lights above, and I can only imagine how beautiful this all looks at night. I'd read a LOT about their fish sandwich. That it is a good size helping. That it has a great light fresh vinegar sauce with thinly sliced carrots and other crunchy veg. The fish tasted fresh fried. And I have to say, this is the Best fish sandwich I have ever tasted. I only am upset I hadn't come much sooner. I will have to return, probably on a monthly basis for that fish sandwich. There are enough pictures out there of the sandwich. But I also had the Thai basil lemonade and it was a nice pairing. Not a waste of time, effort or dough. Just go.

We bring friends here, and one friend in particular is so obsessed that he was dreaming of their food when he was on a film shoot out of state, and could not wait to get back. You order at the window, and can take it away or eat outside. The place feels like a party when the weather is good. I don't think it is possible to order badly: the owners keep the menu tight, and everything is SO FRESH. When they run out, that's it. (The curried carrot soup will go fast, I've found.) My husband usually gets the vietnamese fried fish sandwich which is delectable with lots of flavor and texture. We rarely eat meat, but I have made an exception to try the Moroccan lamb burger which was worth it. I usually spring for the upgrade to get crispy smashed potatoes instead of chips. And it's worth noting that the drinks are also well above average: I've enjoyed the indulgence of a Bravassi hard Italian soda with my meal on a lazy afternoon, after shopping at the Second Life thrift store. Their drinks are very good, and they serve them up straightaway to savor while you wait for your order to come up. I have not yet ordered a salad but they have an array of excellent / choices, and I know they will not disappoint. I also want to note that although there is not waiter service (which makes it an ideal spot to meet friends) the staff is friendly, and well above average. It's such a great vibe, and a real bonus of living in the area. They also serve breakfast, and I feel confident in their level of quality in recommending them as a stop for anyone.
