I had two chairs that desperately needed some tlc and thankfully I came across Donate's! I called in asking for a quote and was told I could text in photos of my chairs and receive a text by phone - easy peasy, I prefer receiving a quote by text versus going in, that's my personal preference! Anywho, I was given my quote and took my chairs in the next day. You have the choice to bring in your own material for the chairs or choose one from Donate's - i chose a material from Donate's. I declined new padding since the padding on my chairs worked just fine for us. The gentleman was nice enough to help me unload the chairs from my car. The turnaround time was maybe 5 days, including the weekend - but that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. He texted me when my chairs were ready for pickup and he helped me load them into my car. 10/10 would recommend their services. I've added pictures for reference. LOL. From creating cushions for all makes and models of chairs, indoor to outdoor - and always exceptional pillows - the round tufted, velvet ones a favorite. They even 'fixed' 'sad' sofa cushions, from BRAND NEW, Designer Sofa Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams David & Co couch made them decently passable before I even considered using the piece!! You simply can not go wrong with using Donate's Upholstery. Don't expect a 'rush job' - but he keeps an amazing amount of high end fabrics in stock and if you are like me and he already knows the measurements of a few favorite items and what to order. They go above and beyond to get the fabric ordered and then offers pick up and delivery ( TIP well my friends this is a RARE service). David could charge twice what he does and customers like myself would still rely upon his services without thinking twice! Bottom Line; if you have a beautiful antique or a new designer piece with 'bad cushions' Donates staff will help you out!!! Think twice about getting rid of that hideously upholstered solid mahogany couch that some relative left you or you fell in love with at a flea market or for FREE on CL or FB marketplace. I have since moved from Oxnard and Port Hueneme, CA. My move, to me, was a nightmare. However, my rattan furniture with those beautiful cushions made by Donate's traveled in bags like champs. No damages. They look the same as when they were placed upon their rightful seats. I still get compliments wherever they roam.
