Been looking for a place where I can have my front car seat covers replaced. Found this business on yelp and I was kinda hesitant in the beginning cuz the cost is pretty pricey for me. Each seat cover cost $400 and labor is $200 per seat. I don't want to spend that much money since my 4 runner is 24 years old. Anyway, when the owner showed me what the seat covers look like, I was blown away. I went ahead and seal the deal. I chose the color I want and they filled the cushion. This review is long overdue. I took my SUV to David at Churik and they did an amazing job. The SUV had pulled apart at the seams in the front seats, I took it to Mercedes for repair and they rejected it under the warranty. I found Churik and took it to David, it came out better than new. There is no sign of the repair at all, it took about half-a-day for the repair and it was a VERY reasonable price. I. Ought a Toyota Highlander brand new in 2002. I've taken excellent care of it and it has been a great vehicle. The leather seat in the drivers side has had do much wear it was coming apart on the outside edge. My mechanic S&M automotive, also excellent, told me about Churik just s few doors down the street. I really had no idea what to expect. I was astounded at the quality workmanship when I picked it up. The stitching was perfect and the leather almost perfectly matched even though 17 years old. I needed to get my motorcycle seat redone but wanted to get it done locally rather than sending it off to a specialty fabricator. I stopped by and Ceaser gave me a reasonable quote so I let them go ahead and do it. It turned out even better than I pictured it. The quality of workmanship is incredible. They picked up the chairs when they said they would and finished the project much faster than estimated. Alright, I meant to write a review (yikes...2 years ago??). BUT better late than never. Churik Upholstery is AMAZING. Fair prices and exquisite work. I brought in a chair that needed to be completely gutted (springs...stuffing...etc). I had my own bolt of fabric that I wanted the chair upholstered in, I told him I trusted his judgment on placement of the fabric medallions. When I came back to the store (a few days later) I didn't even recognize the chair. It looked like it should be in the Ethan Allen catalog! My nine year old motorcycle is outside most of the time and the seats needed reupholstering. I tried to find Churik at it's old location but the neighbors didn't know where they'd moved to. They sent me to another shop down the street. I got a quote for $375 and decided I could ride on slightly faded coming apart at the seams seats for a while longer. My wife told me she'd seen another shop which turned out to be Churik's new address. They quoted $200 for the work and I left my seats there immediately. The work is beautiful. Do NOT do business with these people. They will try to cheat you. I called this place because of the good reviews on Yelp. I wanted to get two chairs recovered and repaired and was quoted $450 for both. I drove to their office to look at fabric samples, and while I was doing that, the guy (the one in the pictures wearing the black hat) asked as he was looking out the window, "Is that your van?" It was. Then he asked where I lived. After seeing my car and finding out where I live, the price went up to $400 per chair. HE HAD NOT EVEN SEEN THE CHAIRS, was just pulling numbers out of thin air because he decided maybe I could afford to pay more. I told him that was a bad way to do business and left. Somebody else claiming to be the guy's son sent me a text trying to say it was a misunderstanding, that he had been the one quoting the price to me and his dad didn't know, then offered to do the chairs for $325 each. NEITHER of these guys ever looked at the chairs while I was there, so why would the first guy give me a price at all, and why would the second guy not honor the quote he had given me? I wouldn't take the chairs to these guys if they did it for free because I don't do business with untrustworthy people. If I knew how to post photos of text messages to show this in writing, I would. I had the quote in writing and they did not honor it. read more

Am extremely satisfied with good quality work this shop performed for me. Had a recliner chair recovered with custom color fabric... Turned out beautiful. My large custom sectional sofa in the family room was in good shape, except for the welting on the 13 cushions which showed some wear. Cesar redid all the welting with the same color fabric that was used on the recliner and made two new throw pillow with that same fabric. The sectional looks like new... Fantastic!
