Later, a representative informed me that Hector was no longer working with the company, so they transferred me to somebody else who only reached out to inform me that Hector was no longer with them. Months passed by, and I wondered what was happening with my order. I took measures into my hands and called the number for customer support. Over this year, I talked to representatives Isaiah, Tamra, then Daniela, and others, who couldn't pinpoint what was happening. One of the representatives told me that my order was lost, and another representative said it had accidentally shipped to somebody else and was probably in the warehouse, but he couldn't find it. This back-and-forth lasted a year, see. I understand that they were doing their job and reading from a computer that had four different case numbers assigned to me over the year. Now it is June 28, 2023. I still have not received this table, nor have I had contact with somebody in a higher position that can read my history from 2021 till now and give me an explanation and a direct answer to if I'm going to get this table or should I cancel this transaction and get my money back by this time I feel it's ridiculous that a" high end quality" company like Mitchell gold +bob Williams does not have the courtesy with their customers I mean we're not just spending $100 their products are expensive therefore we as customers deserve higher quality service especially when a product lasts two years!!! in production keep in mind this is not a customize special maid to order product as I was told from one of the representatives. as a customer I have constantly been calling customer service to see what's happening with my order as I did today and by now it's ridiculous it's outrageous this company only cares about the money. I particularly like this location as it's pretty big, always clean, and coming during a weekend they actually were pretty well stocked with cashiers and staff. That's usually my biggest pet peeve at other world markets, as I've ran into long lines and only one person on register but not here. They've got their staffing stacked and everyone was helpful and moving along the lines. As far as home goods go, I love shopping here for cushions, artwork, kitchen wears and occasionally there are some nice furniture items. What I really come here the most for is their international food section. They have some of my favorite ramen, Greek olive oil, German mustard and canned fishes here. A good selection every time and despite a lot of the goods being imported, I don't feel that they crank up the prices or anything like that. Secondly they have a solid wine and fun beer selection - I'm always impressed and it's a great spot for gifts. Two weeks when by and I didn't get a notice of delivery. I called and they told me it was a two month wait. I receive a message the day before the delivery date of my delivery window. I waited the two months to receive my couch in mid-late July to then have it damaged on the bottom in which have stuffing come out of a large cut any time the couch was sat on. I called again and was told it would be a two month wait for me to have a replacement. I asked for a refund and I was told no. Yet again, I receive a message the day before the delivery day of my delivery window. I receive the new couch only to also have it damaged on the arm rest. I spent more time waiting for a couch than having one. The couch purchased was the Bettie Avocado 86" sofa with a "chaise" (it's just a foot rest extension and not connected to the couch). Quality of couch - The material used is itchy and not comfortable to have direct skin contact. The "chaise" not being attached is heavily disappointing and was not made clear during process to purchase. Pillows included with the sofa are atrociously tacky. The couch is not large enough for two people to lay on (for couples who like to cuddle watching movies/shows). The couch smells odd and between the two I had, they both smelled different and equally terrible. The one I am processing a return on (for a full refund) smells like someone else used it prior to my ownership. Cost - The sofa itself cost $599. - The delivery was not optional nor included in the price and was $399. - If purchasing multiple items, the delivery cost would not be fixed, but would increase based on the item.
