    Perfect endcap! 3/29/25

GETTING HERE: Located on Main Street in Ventura in the old Bed, Bath & Beyond and near the old Target. RIP to BBB, but this is a nice replacement for the strip mall. REVIEW: I am rather excited for this Homegoods in Ventura! To be honest, I feel like it's a step above the TJ Max or Burlington, but I am newbie to all 3 stores so I am not 100% sure. They seem to carry similar items and have a similar layout, but one of the many things I like more about his HG is is that it's light and open inside. The aisles are spread out and I feel comfortable walking down the aisles and don't fear I will run into another customer. Very cute things for sale and have loved their endcap displays so far. You also had me at the pink flamingo lamps! Service is sadly hit and miss, which is the norm apparently in 2025. My last visit was pretty crappy due to the grouchy older lady working behind the counter. Good luck in here with all the things, you'll need it! :)

I truly enjoy the experience I have at this HomeGoods store. They have a great selection of cat things/decor and holiday decor. The store is a but crowded most of the time and I wish it were a little more organized but you can work around it. They have lots of cute stuff and the staff is very friendly. Most of their stuff is pretty affordable too.

Drove by the old Bed Bath & Beyond area & needed a distraction. Spontaneous window shopping turned into buying unnecessary items & already contemplating my next return at Home Goods. This place is dangerous for me. Just take all my money why don't you lols. Lots to see & get here at good prices. Had good service at checkout.

I'm very disappointed in the store. I'm a HomeGoods fan and I love looking in the stores whenever we travel as well. This store has been open long enough to have had all its kinks out. There were empty shelves and that was surprising. I waited in line for 10 minutes with no one in front of me and three people behind me. I watched four employees chat it up at the end of the counter, and they all looked in my direction more than once I asked for a price of an item and the manager said "I think it's this price". Thats very unprofessional. I'll continue to go to my favorite store in Thousand Oaks.

Shopped for 20 minutes waited in line for 40! I don't think they were expecting many shoppers today. Finally added a third cashier.

I knew about the Rug Design Center as I've walked by many times. I decided to place my rug which has a lot of sentimental value in their caring hands for repair and cleaning. About 5 weeks later I've got a rug that looks better than it did brand new. The fringe in small and uniform and well sewn onto the existing rug. I couldn't be happier with the results! It's also so bright and vibrant since they cleaned it. You owe it to yourself to check this place out. Lots and lots of rugs in stock and ready for sale, and you know if any repairs and/or cleaning is needed you're at the right place! They have been in business for 26 years at the same location which is a testament to the quality of their products and the customer experience they provide.

I recently came across a 75 year old rug that the fringe was not tied and it was falling apart. It also had white spots everywhere on the rug that you can't see in the picture that were threads showing through. The owner, Abbey, is amazing. He had my rug re-tied by hand and dyed all the little dots in the rug to make the thing look like brand new. The price was very fair and now it will last another 75 years. Also, I would trust no other place to clean my rugs, other than Rug Design Center. Abbey will come over and give you a quote, pick up your rugs and deliver them, it can't be easier.

I actually recently found them as my mom had been raving about this store and took me in over the weekend. The store is super cute inside. Clothing, jewelry and some small accessories. A great store with a little bit of everything for us ladies. I found their clothing selection to be fun and slightly western forward as a theme but they also had great regular prints and styles. Their jewelry was pretty and I liked some of their gift accessories like hats and passport tags etc. The store was clean and spacious enough to walk around without bumping into people. Staff were very nice, bubbly and welcoming. I liked that they were the perfect amount of attentive but also gave you some space to shop. Didn't have my weird vibes of being watched etc lol. Multiple staff on shift which was nice as one gal was walking the floor talking about sales while another could attend to customers wanting to pay. I walked away with a super yummy smelling rollerball perfume and a Christmas gift for a friend. Prices were reasonable with the sale, so it was a good time to stop in. Definitely check this store out if you're looking for cute clothing and accessories.
