    Humus
    Rob C.

Extremely rude service, but good food, not good enough I would come back. I did a skipthedishes pick-up and the woman who works here made it so stressful. (She was mad because she thought I was a delivery driver and didn't want to give me my food I already paid for and even left a tip for in advanced... I would not recommend doing this based on my experience). I recommend the mushroom Donair and the humus. They use a lot of mushrooms and sauces. But the terrible customer service and lack of professionalism is why I'm leaving a 1 star review.

I came here with a friend for Taste of the Tri-Cities and we were both amazed at the quality and…read moreservice we received. To begin, we were greeted by an extremely friendly and cheerful server who genuinely seemed happy to serve us. He took our food order first as we weren't decided on drinks yet and said he would return shortly after he put our food order in. My friend ordered the 3 course menu, while I ordered the 5 course menu. He did note that since they were still new at serving the taste of tri-cities menu he wanted to get our order in right away as it tended to take longer than some of the other menu items. A few minutes later he returned for our drink order, and I requested a grape-ade drink (white grape flavoured lemonade?). Another few minute later, he returned with our drinks. Mine was absolutely delicious and reminded me of a particular Japanese white grape flavour that I love. After getting through a third of our drinks, our server returned very apologetic. He advised that our courses were taking longer than expected to be served and therefore we would be able to order another drink of choice on the house. As it hadn't even been that long, we were surprised but extremely grateful for the upfront honesty and quick action on the part of the staff. After another 10 minutes or so, our first course was set on our table. My first course was a soup of the day, which turned out to be a delicious cheddar and broccoli soup. It had some carrot slivers as well, and was a perfectly well balanced soup. My next course, the seared scallops, were brought out quite quickly and were also quite delicious. Admittedly, this was my first time trying scallops so I can't truly review them one way or another, given I didn't know what to expect from them. My third course was the beef arugula salad and although it didn't smell as appetizing given the mixture of plates I had prior, it was incredibly delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and was just as tender and juicy as I had hoped. My fourth course, the red wine braised short rib served with fondant potatoes and roasted seasonal vegetables, was positively to die for. I, admittedly, was stuffed at this point and already knew I'd have leftovers, but I wanted to finish every bite if I was able as it truly was perfection. Finally, for my fifth course, I was given the cheesecake which was rich, creamy and delicious. It was just the right size of slice and finished off the meal wonderfully. I could not recommend this place more given the service, friendliness, ambiance, and quality of the dishes. This restaurant is incredibly welcoming, with something for everyone from morning to night. It's well worth a visit!

We were greeted right away by a staff member and seated when a table was available such wasn't long as there was an empty around the corner. We were given menus and menu sheets to order. He didn't give us a pencil or pen but I had one. We decided to get 2 orders of xlb, wontons in chili oil, boiled pork/chives dumplings and hk style curry fish balls. If you don't order drinks there is complimentary water machine for hot/ cold water and a self serve sauce bar. Bowls are also located there. At the table are disposable chopsticks and spoons as well as napkins. After filling out the paper wifey brought it up front to the staff to fill. As we waited for the food i created my sauce. The food arrived and looked good as any dumplings should. The wonton on chili oil was tasty and I liked them. The wrap seemed a bit loose so maybe over cooked by a little bit but not a big deal breaker. The chives dumplings were yummy. Not huge but a decent reasonable size. Tasty as well and the wrapper wasn't overly thick and had a good chew. The curry fish balls were ok. Not bad but not great. The xlb were very nice. Wrapper not to thick, not thin either but acceptable thickness. Plenty of soup inside and decently tasty. The meat filling itself is also tasty. Very good meal and would go back in the area for decent xlb.

I visited…read morea few weeks ago and tried a unique hot chocolate item, and I revisited for the new limited item for the festival. #139 Maple Nutty Bliss Hot Chocolate - This decadent treat combines the deep, roasty flavors of maple pecan beer, creamy cashew purée, and the classic warmth of hot cocoa. First, maple pecan beer is reduced to a syrupy sweetness, enhancing the chocolate with nutty, caramelized notes. Then, smooth puréed cashews are stirred in, adding a creamy texture that balances the rich chocolate base. Served with velvety squash purée swirled into a rich traditional vanilla custard in a buttery croissant cup. The hot chocolate's cashew nut puree was very unique. I stirred it well, and it made the drink even creamier. Before stirring, I tasted a bit of the puree, and it was so nutty, flavorful, and had a great texture. The hot chocolate itself wasn't too sweet, with a subtle maple pecan beer flavor. The squash puree into vanilla custard in the croissant cup was delicious. The vanilla custard melted like lava, and the croissant cup was crispy. I hope I can have it again, even though it's a limited item. Service was very friendly and attentive. It is a very popular brewery, and I will revisit to get a beer again.

I've only had beers here so I can't really comment on the food but my friends seem to like it. They rave about the beef brisket and the pulled pork. My choice of beer is usually the Juicy but they do have an interesting variety to choose from. To be honest I'm not sure how the ordering works, sometimes you order at the counter and other times they come to your table. The service is friendly. It's a decent size place and has a cozy atmosphere. There is free street parking out front.....
