It is several steps below ground, unlike the adjacent businesses. There is a small covered (but not enclosed) underground patio with maybe 6 seats. There is no interior seating. Staff were pretty friendly. No complaints. They have the typical Middle Eastern fare, with donairs and plates available. The lamb donair I had hit the spot. They didn't skimp out on the filling, which is nice. Great place to visit if one wants a snack, especially late in the evening. Recommended.

Have you ever felt sorry for a food you were about to eat? These fries looked so sad and pathetic that I felt guilty digging in. I think they are known for the Halifax donair or at least it comes very close to it. I first tried the donair several years ago and remembered it as very big. Taste wise, it was ok. It used to be a bigger place with dine in area. Now it's half the size with only a take out window. We ordered the large rice platter with chicken. It came with a can of pop for $16.50. Portion was good, enough for 2 small eaters or two small meals. I was initially disappointed to see white rice as other places version were with dill or yellow spiced rice. But the white rice was not bland, it was very flavorful and went really well with the meat and sauces. I liked how we were given pieces of chicken which were nicely charred on the edges. Not dry at all. I will get the rice platter again. Maybe I'll give the donair another try in future.

The Downtown locations have a happy hour deal this month that makes eating here affordable with a pop and large beef donair combo for around $10. This donair Dude location does not. And I notice this Donair Dude sometimes is late to post the monthly specials compared to the downtown one. But other than that-this Donair is a welcome addition to Kits. The Donairs are fairly big and you can load it up and customize it like a certain Sandwhich franchise. Because this is a newer location the interior has a newer finish and there are more tables and chairs to sit down and eat.
