Spotted this as I was about to enter Allen/Houston subway... popped in to try - very good! Super crispy, clean place - only 3 tables inside, but you could always eat in the park across the street too. I had a 10-piece crispy - incredibly crunchy, hot and cooked perfectly. False Advertisement!! The photo shows you get rice with the black eyed peas and honey chicken special for $11.99(which is their dry baked chicken doused with a container of honey). I've honestly had better chicken in a school cafeteria. The cornbread tasted like shoprite cornbread loaves. So basically you can buy it at the store for much cheaper. Oh and the black eyed peas had the most flavor in the dish but how they hell was I supposed to eat those dry ass peas without rice??? The whole meal was dry dry dry, the whole dame dish needed lotion. We were in NYC for a week, and the night before flying out, I made my family go there, because I had a feeling they would be very good from the happy customers leaving the restaurant.
