Was miffed that they were not open at 11am as advertised, but, I'm glad I tried it later in the day. I did all 4 types of tacos, very very delicious. Wow, the guacamole chicken burrito was extremely delicious. Everything in this burrito screamed fresh. The chicken was moist and had a smokey flavor, the guacamole had chunks of perfectly ripen fruit. Onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and beans made this burrito a 5 star winner. This out of the way restaurant had the best tacos I have had ing a LONG while, unfortunately that quality didn't hold up with the carne asada. The meat was so tough and stringy that you couldn't hardly chew it. It you stick to the tacos though, you will love this place. read more

SO GOOD! I had the chile verde with pork. You know how a really good roasted pork is a little salty and really juicy, roasted tasting pork that flakes away under just a fork? That's this pork - really good. The sauces on the table are also really great, spicy if you want it or they have a lovely, creamy guacamole one. The corn tortillas are nice and fresh. I thought to write a review update for this place, because I decided to go and try their food again and see if I would get a different experience. And as it turns out, yes, my second visit here was a pretty difference experience. And after reading the other reviews, I wanted to try their tacos with the pork and pineapple and I have to admit, wow, this time was really, really delicious, was very tasty, so we ordered more. Then we tried the chips and salsa and this time the salsas were the real stuff, very good!!. Then we were offered a dessert, which was fantastic, a home made flan that reminds me of the desserts I use to get when I go to Mexico, so real stuff, the service was very good as always. I think I have to admit that this place really is authentic, and focus on the quality of the ingredients and details. Yes prices are still very high, but that does not change the fact that their menu has quality and is good, and they deserve 5 stars, next time I want to try their pizza, it may be a delicious surprise!! read more

This is a nice little place to enjoy well prepared Mexican Americanized food. Went there with my wife and child. It's a small place with maybe five booths, 6 tables that seat 4-6 people, and a few seats at the bar, so probably not the best for large groups. Service was friendly and timely enough. The menu has enough variety to come back quite a few times. I'm never a big fan of televisions in the dining area, but I'm probably in the minority. At least the volume was down. Gringos (like me) can celebrate, because the chips for the chips and salsa shatter with a satisfying crunch! The salsa was a little bland for my taste, and even though I requested salsa that was "mas picante", it too was fairly tame. I was hopeful the corn tortillas for my tacos were handmade, but despite the fact they weren't, the remaining ingredients were fresh and delicious. The enchiladas ARE prepared with handmade tortillas and were also delicious. Everything was well seasoned. Presentation was average. I have only been there once. but I look forward to returning and sampling more of their offerings. read more

With the overwhelmingly positive reviews here on yelp, I was ready for this meal to send me to nirvana! The food was ok but nothing mind blowing. I sampled the steak and chicken. If the food was a bit more reasonably priced, it would have made sense for the fare as far as I am concerned. I ordered 3 dishes for lunch and paid $35!! When I placed my order by phone, I asked for the total so that there would be no discrepencies from the menu I was going off of on the website. I guess they were short staffed and the guy that took my order was not able to provide me with the total. I suppose the menu posted online just 3 months ago is now terribly outdated. Overall, food is so/so but would be easier to swallow if prices made more sense especially for lunch. read more

Had an amazing dinner. All fresh and flavorful. Seemed family run and everyone was so nice. We loved the combo options so you can taste a variety of tacos for example on one plate. This is the best Mexican food around. The meats are amazingly tasty especially since they are grilled right out front on a bbq, the sauces and salsas are obviously made with care, and there is always a friendly face working. We consider ourselves regulars at this point. We have to go at least one a week. Must try. This is one of those hidden gems that everyone wants to find. read more

I was not impressed by the food at this restaurant. The meat in the chicken tacos was extremely dry and the steak tacos only tasted of onion. The rice was extremely bland. The beans were okay at best but very runny. Not the place for me. read more
