Food was great and huge portions. A lot of pictures show a full bar area in the back but they don't serve anything except a few bottled beers. The place is kind of small for a big crowd (we had a party of 8) but perfect if you have parties smaller than 4. Service is pretty quick. Wasn't sure what to expect, as my girlfriend and friend were hungry and looking for some tasty mexican food (We're from the famous Cali Burrito hub, so we're okay with fast or restaurant quality food). As we entered the restaurant, it was quiet, but it was very close to their opening hours so this is quite expected. I ordered the bravo burrito, and I hate to be cheesy (kidding, I love it), but bravo Don Asado, bravo.It's very rare I will visit a mexican place that will stray from the typical carne asada burrito or bean and cheese variety (delicious, a staple for sure, but sometimes you want something new!) So, this bravo burrito, what makes it different you say? Well, let's go over the ingredients shall we? First, the rice and black beans were light but also flavorful. There often is a heavy feeling I get after consuming rice and beans at cheaper mexican restaurants, but these, no way. The roasted pork and jalapenos blended beautifully together. These jalapenos were fresh too, when I took each bite I could see a vibrant and beautifully cut piece of jalapeno every other bite. The onions, I wouldn't say were "fried" but roasted. I particularly love onions, so I thought they were a great touch. The pico de gallo was fresh and again, light but flavorful. Finally, the cheese was perfect in it's quantity. Not too much, but not too little. Just enough to mesh with the rest of the burrito's contents. Not only that, it comes with freshly made chips, and the server (I believe may have been the owner or manager) presented us with three different bottles of salsa (SAUCE! :D) There was habanero, creamy jalapeno, and red. Out of the three I used the habanero. I loved it's smokey and fiery flavor. it had a nice bite, but nothing that would crying out for milk or horchata. In terms of service the server/owner/manager person, was very kind and friendly. Accommodating my friend's dietary and menu questions cheerfully. Definitely will be back when I'm in the area to try some more of their creations. read more

This review is solely based on their customer service. My family and I went here today to grab some early dinner and a have a Margarita but ended up leaving before even ordering our drinks. As we walked up someone who appeared to maybe be the owner (?) met us outside asking if we wanted to sit inside because if we did we couldn't have dinner today. We were a little confused but just went along with it, stating that outside is fine since it was a nice day out. Keep in mind that the waiter did not even bother to say hello at this point. He then moved forward with motioning us to sit at a small patio table and immediately got straight to business. "Drinks?" he says before we even had a chance to get situated. We then asked him why we couldn't sit inside with his response being that apparently the restaurant supposedly was closed for a private event. This may or may not be true but the way we were treated up to this point was just awful. We asked if we could see a drink menu before deciding and were told "there is no drink menu". Okay, like what do you mean you don't have a drink menu? Isn't this a restaurant? I can't sit here and tell you why he treated us the way he did - to be truthful we felt racially profiled but hey, maybe the dude was just having a bad day who knows. All I can say is no matter how good their food may be we will never return to this place. We ended up telling the waiter/owner that we were probably just going to leave. It was clear to us that we were unwelcome for unknown reasons. His response was "okay that's fine" as he turns around and walks off. Worst experience I have ever had anywhere!! read more

So glad I found a good Mexican place in Oregon! I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to Mexican food, having come from Los Angeles. The street tacos here are amazing. Tried the steak and al pastor plate, the kid nachos (surprisingly good!) and steak burrito. All stellar. They also have house salsa, mild and spicy, which are insanely good. I came here on a whim with a craving for some Mexican food. It is a small hole in the wall with a nice looking menu. Unfortunately they don't have their liquor license, but I did enjoy fresh non-alcoholic piña colada which was delicious. My enchiladas were just as good. read more

"WOW" this place is great, and the prices are very good too. They have excellent meats, fresh cut vegetables, and quality cheese that they're not skimpy with. It always irks me when places skimp on the cotija, that's not a problem here. Had a chorizo and rice dish one morning that was to die for, then had something called chilaquiles a few days later. Within a week was introduced to two dishes I didn't even know I was missing. I know, I know, everyone claims to be able to spot authentic Mexican food... But trust me on this place is the real deal! The food here is nothing short of amazing. I had the tacos arabes - the pork was perfectly tender with a wonderful slightly smoky and spicy taste - the tortillas were so fresh - really everything fresh and great. My son had the shrimp tacos and my husband had the enchilada pastor. Both were extremely satisfying. We all dug in fast and kept going- so tasty we didn't want to stop- so sorry no food pics. I should also mention they had many great juice and drink options. The watermelon juice hit the spot on a warm summer afternoon. The five star reviews on this place are spot on.
