I was never a fan of this place. They have alright pizza, but it's definitely an old divorcee kind of place.

We had no expectations but we were hungry. What a wonderful Plan B this turned out to be. It was mid-afternoon so the place was relatively quiet, in a pleasant way.Everything was clean and the dining room looked inviting. We seated ourselves and the waitress quickly came to take our order for drinks and food. She suggested the day's special, a personal pizza with two toppings, side salad, and a drink. It sounded great was was a real bargain so we both went with it. The wife ordered a simple cheese pizza and I ordered mine with sausage and mushrooms. In very short order, our salads were presented and they were delicious. The lettuce and vegetables were all very fresh, not the sad looking stuff you frequently see at other restaurants mid winter. Even the croutons were delicious, light and with just the right amount of crispness. Next came our pizzas piping hot. We both loved them .They came on a thin cracker type crust, my favorite, sauce was sparingly applied but tasty, and the Italian sausage on my pizza had wonderful flavor with just a light kick to it. My wife truly enjoyed her cheese pizza as well. We'll definitely be coming back. I'm tempted to try their Italian beef sandwich next time. It was highly recommended by the staff.

We were greeted by the owner, Lauren. During the event, we were housed in the newly renovated event space. Perfect for intimate events. They served guests a full spread complete and drinks on the house. The food was actually very delicious. There was this sort of cheese dip that we ate - all I know is that it had corn in it and spices, but everyone went back for seconds! It was good! (Put it as a regular menu option *wink wink*). Live music, photo ops, and a tour of the brewery where all the magic happens. Lauren led the tour and when I tell you she is knowledgeable, she is very knowledgeable! To learn about their inception makes me appreciate it even more. Go check them out!

After my flavorful Italian Sausage and Jalapeños pizza today, I will call Joe before a national chain. It was National Mom and Pop Business Day and my local Joe's posted a picture of their owners on Facebook and it prompted me to order. So I got on their website and ordered my favorite, Sausage & Jalapeño Small Thin Crust Pizza. When I order pizza from any pizza joint, I always add special instructions. I am not a fan of "square" cut and request mine to be cut "pie", the traditional way to serve pizza. My Italian Sausage was spicy, the sauce had zing to it and there was plenty of jalapeños. The jalapeños even had some crunch to them, which tells me, they were fresh. Then of course, the mozzarella cheese was plentiful on top of everything. The website was user friendly and when I arrived, the young ladies working the front counter were friendly and polite. Good pizza and friendly service will have me ordering pick-up again. Sure I can have them deliver, but I don't mind the short drive to pick it up myself. Support your local mom and pop businesses.

They have quite the operation with parking spots in their already large lot designated for carry out customers as well closer to the door. I opted to walk in from further away. Two ladies man the window ready to take orders or coordinate orders like mine that were called in. I walked in 20 minutes after placing my order but at peak hour they told me 15 more so I read a book until called to grab my fresh hot pie. I absconded with my prize to my hotel. I love St Louis style pizza. You can't find Provel anywhere near where I live in the PNW. This one has a really nice thin crust with plenty of mushrooms. I thought their sauce was a little on the sweet side. Not my favorite so far. I also came back with my coworker because he wanted a taste of St. Louis on his short stay, but he wasn't impressed either. I picked up some mushroom spaghetti on my next stop but that was also far too sweet and just okay. Sadly, for some reason pizza places seem to be closed on Sundays and Mondays which are the main days I'm in town this week for work, so I guess it's this place or Imo's this time, but I'll plan to go during Faraci's open hours next time.

The host seemed confused, left to check, and came back saying it was fine but we would need to pick up our pizza from the takeout window. We were seated and given silverware, but after that no one checked on us at all. It was as if we weren't there The restaurant wasn't busy--only 2 2-topa small tables and one larger group that left as we went to sit down --yet the two servers nor the host on duty stopped at our table, offered drinks, plates, or even made eye contact. Other tables received normal service while we were completely ignored. We eventually asked the sweet employee at the pickup window for water and napkins, and she was the only person who helped us the entire time. Thankfully the food was good but the service was extremely disappointing; aside from the carryout window staff. I have been to this location many times over the years and a handful of times at the St. Peters location. I expected a lot better from this family-owned pizzeria. This felt like an avoidable customer-service miss.

In addition to the bartenders, Tony's has an extra staff person behind the bar that takes care of food orders and keeps the bar glasses clean, too. That's good team work. The bartenders are masterful in their skills. I'm a classic cocktail drinker, so I usually enjoy a Martini, Manhattan or a Old Fashioned. I've also been know to order a Boulevardier and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. I have the Cab when I enjoy their Tuesday Night steak special. When I'm not super hungry and want a light meal, I do a house salad with Grilled Shrimp or a Shrimp Cocktail, or even a order of Oysters Rockefeller. I've even done the Wedge Salad with a side of Grilled Shrimp. Whatever I choose, I'm a satisfied diner. Small details that I like and make my dining experience complete are; Linen Napkins, Hooks Under the Bar, Eco-Friendly To-Go Vessels and a dog friendly patio. They just make me smile. In addition to the outstanding bartenders, the servers and hostesses are friendly, too. They provide upscale service in a casual dining atmosphere. The hostess was very friendly in greeting us. We had reservations and were seated right away. As we were looking at the various menus, our waiter, Chad, approached our table singing Anniversary by Tony! Toni! Toné! It was surprising but we got a kick out of it. He was a great waiter and was very knowledgeable about the menu and his suggestions were on point. Chad gave so much attention to all of his tables and went out of his way to make it a great experience for everyone. For drinks, my husband ordered the Old Fashioned and I ordered the New York Sour. I'm a big fan of New York Sours and that was probably the best one I've ever had. Upon Chad's suggestion, we ordered the Royal Red Shrimp appetizer. It was delicious, especially soaking the bread in the amazing butter sauce. We both chose the house salad with their house dressing, which was really good. For entrées, my husband ordered the surf and turf (he chose the ribeye) and I ordered the Jumbo Sea Scallops with Lobster Risotto. He says his ribeye was cooked to perfection with a really nice butter sauce. The shrimp were really good but the scallops and Risotto were just ok. Overall, he felt it was a good dish. I have to agree about the scallops. They could have been seared better and on both sides. The Lobster Risotto was just ok. I probably would have appreciated it more if it actually had lobster in it. It took a little longer for us to get our entrees, and they were not as hot as I would have liked. We also were there during happy hour, which is daily. We ordered a bottle of wine for a great price. Overall, it was a great experience and we enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to trying new things in the future.
