Yummy! Friends suggested for brunch. Ramen isn't typically what I think of as "brunch" but they said they love the place so give it a try. They have a limited menu for brunch but our waitress said they are updating it soon with some extra items. We had the wings and the sauce was sweet and overall pretty tasty. The ramen was very good. The broth was very rich in flavor, but of spice but could have been spicier. The pork belly was very tender and the egg was delicious. The noodles are made in house and we're very good. The food is so so good. My go to is always the yuzus ramen because i like the chicken and the zestier broth. My boyfriend has tried a new ramen every time we go, he's a big foodie, and he's loved the richie rich, the broth less ramen, and the spicier one on the menu. We always get the domu wings as an appt, however i don't have any pictures. They make they're own sauce which is like stc but not super spicy. We enjoy sitting in the dine in, but when it's just us we tend to sit bar side which is place orders at the bar service. Everyone is super chill, great environment with music and plants. I came here with my husband to grab some dinner before going shopping. I've been to one of Domu's Orlando locations and I definitely like this one better. It's more open and has ample seating. We sat at the bar and both of the bartenders were great! Things got a bit busy during the dinner rush, but the two ladies kept their cool and put a lot of effort into handcrafting each drink. Their winter drink menu has a wide variety of options. I went with the Daphne Bloom- it was fruity yet smokey and the flavors perfectly complimented each other. I was really excited to try this place as I've heard great things. I ate here with a group of 4. I like the menus on our phones. I really liked the atmosphere with the plants. Loved that we sat right down at 645 on a Friday. The drink I had was an apple vodka but I forget the name, very tasty. I tried the pork bun and it was delicious but way smaller than anticipated. I also tried the cheese dip and it was amazing. My husband had the miso and liked it. I enjoyed it but I don't know if I liked it more than the place we go to all the time. I love Domu. I come here often and have always had a great experience. From the food, to the service, to the aesthetics. My go-to is either the tuna don if I'm feeling rice, the New Japan Mazemen for a no-broth ramen dish, or the curry ramen! The bar here is also very welcoming and they have some creative and yummy cocktails! I came here Saturday night to just hang out at the bar and grab some drinks with friends (we got the Ong-Lai and Daphne Bloom), and was helped by Rue and EJ. Standing ovation! BRAVO! Listen I haven't been back in a few months.. but they have won a place in my heart again! Today we had brunch, I had the delightful chicken win bowl, they are boneless covered in this magical sauce that's a bit sweet but not overly sweet, I ordered a side of the brûlées eggs, listen that's not the real name it's a semi soft boiled egg that's not hot or cold and they torch it with sugar or something sweet and let me tell you, I closed my eyes and ate in complete silent, I didn't want anyone getting in the way of my savoring experience of this magical little egg! It was so good I ordered another one. We also enjoyed a chicken sandwich that was coated in this flavorful buttery sauce with some thinly sliced cucumber slices. Brunch here is simply divine, surprisingly it wasn't packed and we sat and received our food in very quick time. EJ at the bar was supremely disrespectful to me and my partner going as far as banning us and being loud in front of patrons. He was supposed to be the manager and yet he spent more time at the end of the bar gossiping and flirting with females rather than helping us. The glass was dirty and had lipstick which we know is a health hazard. No apology by the way. Good food is not worth this. Avoid! We know how the restaurant industry has taken advantage of us and the 'tip me' culture. So yummy. Such a cute spot and my server was so polite. I think her name was Payton. I got the richy rich ramen , unfortunately they were out of the usual broth that they use so I just had the pork broth with black garlic oil. Still so delicious. Added extra boiled egg and some corn. They had lots of yummy sounding cocktails to choose from I got the rocket pop which had gin and really did taste similar to a rocket pop! I like DOMU but, honestly, DOMU is probably not the best place for a date. Only because the tables in the dining room are so close together and small. It's impossible not to hear the next tables' conversations and a little too intimate for dining next to a stranger. Now, their food is pretty good! DOMU is one of the very few ramen places that take the time to make their own noodles and their broths are flavorful. Their portions are on the larger side and I can never finish my bowl of ramen. I tend to stick with the traditional and ever so popular tonkatsu when I go to ramen places because you can tell a lot about a ramen place by their tonkatsu. I love the tonkatsu at DOMU. The last time we were there, we ordered the Richie Rich and the Curry in medium. Both were delicious and the medium wasn't that spicy for a medium. We also had the DOMU wings in the seasonal flavor (yuzu citrus pepper) which was pretty good. The service is okay. The server we had the last we were here seemed a little preoccupied and it took a long time for the food to arrive. When it finally arrived to the table, there was a little mishap with my bowl where the noodles were a little undercooked and clumpy. When I shared this with the server, he immediately took it away and had another bowl made correctly... unfortunately, that also took a while and the other person I was with finished their bowl by the time I even received my corrected meal. Overall, it's a pretty good ramen place... not a good date place though. Maybe get take-out? read more

I wanted some ramen while working in Jacksonville, FL. This place looked really good and had great reviews. So here I am... There was no wait when I arrived but I opted to sit at the bar. They do not have menus so I scanned the QR code. The menu did not have many appetizers. I ordered the fingerling bravas. It was really tasty. The quinoa gave it a nice crunch to the fried potatoes and the spice gave it a nice touch. I love the cooling of the sour cream to tone down the spice. The yuzu chicken ramen was okay. The ramen was delicious and the soup was very refreshing with a hint of tang from the yuzu. The chicken was marinated and fried with no coating, so the chicken was dry. It also had a very strong flavor which I was not a fan of. They did a great job with the soft boiled egg. The bartenders were really nice and explained the menu. It was my first time here but boy...what a struggle. I came here on 12/21/2021 for dinner since they close at 10 PM. But they told me they close at 9 PM because they were short staffed. So I returned for dinner on 12/26 but was told they were out of pork belly and boiled egg. The egg is essential to ramen. But they do substitute for another vegetable. I ended up getting the Tokyo ramen which has chicken. I sat at the bar in front of the open kitchen. The waiter accidentally gave my order to the guy sitting next to me even though he came 30 minutes after me. So I ended up waiting longer for my order. Tokyo ramen was good. Not thick broth which I normally don't like. The ramen noodle was a bit odd..I don't know how to describe. It doesn't taste like authentic Japanese ramen. Maybe it was too al dente. On a positive note: they do give you a small complimentary sample size of ice cream. It happened to be green tea matcha which tasted pretty good. Overall it doesn't seem like we were meant to be given I experienced a lot of hiccups at this place. Won't be back. read more

I freaking love this place! It took me a long time to visit here because I truly needed to wait for the weather to cool down a little before eating ramen. I've visited a few times for dine in, happy hour, and takeout, and I'm a big fan! They don't take reservations, so I recommend going early if possible. Their specialty cocktails are amazing and the bartenders are all great. My favorite menu items are the spicy vegan ramen: tomato + shiitake broth, menma, scallions, kikurage, torched tomato, fried tofu, Japanese spices, lime zest. However I was super disappointed on my last take out order to see how much smaller the portion size was. I even paid extra for extra mushrooms, but there were just a few along with only 3 small cubes of tofu. The portion when you dine in is much larger. Either way, this is the most flavorful ramen broth ever, and it's vegan! I am obsessed. The noodles are so good and chewy. This whole dish is just perfect. Also don't miss the tako (grilled octopus)! It literally melts in your mouth. I loved it! Next time I will ask for no mayo, just personal preference. My boyfriend loves the yuzu chicken ramen and the tokyo ramen. We also enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee soft serve. This is definitely one of my new favorite spots in Jacksonville. It is located in the Town Center and there is a large parking lot. By far one of my favorite ramen spots in Jacksonville, FL. DOMU has an electric atmosphere with great food and great service. However, you might want to put your name on the list and go shopping at the local stores in town center if you want to eat here, as they have a pretty big waiting list. My girlfriend and I started off our meal with DOMU's Wings which had the perfect crunch and moist meat in the middle. The kimchi butter sauce they toss it in was finger-licking good and did not disappoint. Moreover, my girlfriend had the Tokyo ramen bowl as I had the Curry ramen. Her shoyu chicken broth was packed with flavor as it blended really well with the infused duck fat and garlic scallion confit. The curry ramen caught my eye as I've never really seen a curry style ramen bowl at a ramen restaurant before. It was very delicious as I thought it was perfectly balanced in spices. I thought that the Thai basil and the Japanese Beech Mushrooms Complimented the dish very well. The star of the show definitely had to be the noodles. They weren't too thin and weren't too thick, and finding out later that they are made from scratch just makes it 10x better. At the end of the meal, the server will give you a sample of their ice cream that they make from scratch. Ours was taro ice cream, which is kind of like a sweet potato. It's a root vegetable that has a lightly sweet nutty flavor that honestly blew my mind when I tried it. Overall, definitely a must try if you're in the area. read more

Have been here many times over the last few years and it was great until it wasn't the last few times. I always get a margarita because one of our favorite bartenders made a great one and it's always been tasty. Tonight my husband orders me a Don Julio margarita to which he's told they don't have so she suggests something else that is similar. We get our wings less than 2 minutes after ordering and they were obviously leftovers reheated and tasted like it, the cheezus was just ok so we decide we'll go somewhere else for dinner. We go to pay and the bartender "upgraded" my margarita to clasé azul with no mention that it was $36! Like are you kidding me? Both of us being in the industry a) would never serve someone that price of drink without disclosing it and b) tell someone you'll serve something similar to Don Julio ....and pour azul. This was a great place when it opened but after the leftover food and scam upgrade tonight we will never be back. $80 for two apps and two cocktails. Hopefully the manager sees the note we left on the receipt. We eat out frequently, are not cheap people, but this was just absolutely moronic and a bartender trying to bump up her tip, which didn't work we tipped based on what the drink should've cost based on what we ordered. Their new drink menu is so amazing and the "Be more Pacific" is a wonderful mix of sweet and spicy, the flavors combined definitely gave me that wow factor! Don't forget to start your day or evening with a green tea shot, you won't be disappointed. The small plate menu is full of amazing flavors, things I never would've thought of!
