    Beef bulgogi bento tray
    Yolanda H.

I enjoyed lunch at the quaint space at the quad. I had the beef bulgogi bento tray. The staff kept atop of all orders during the lunch rush. I hear the Korean fried chicken bento is lunch crowd favorite. Can't wait to try it and the hot beef udon noodle soup on upcoming visits.

Absolutely delicious. Saw this place on Uber Eats and got it for delivery. The mushroom roll was unique and really good. Everything tasted fresh too.

The space is so much smaller inside than I thought it'd be, but the interior is really bright. Now the food, I don't know if my expectations were too high or what, but I found everything to be kinda mediocre. I do like that they have a tasting menu that's a really reasonable price. The service was pretty slow, but that might have been because I only saw 1 actual server.

Took my partner here for their birthday lunch and was extremely disappointed when they made no effort to minorly celebrate that. A different table got to have a sparkler dessert but we did not :( I don't even care if that's something not offered, however it is very distasteful that we were straight up forgotten and left out. Especially when I made a reservation specifically notating it was for a birthday and also reminding staff once we arrived. The interior is great with all the natural lighting. And the 4 course lunch set was fine, nothing too memorable or would make you want to come back. My favorite item was the hamachi crudo.

Sushi lunch with Cabbage, sesame dressing, miso soup, edamame and dumplings

Wow!! I was not expecting such fancy and calm atmosphere as soon as I walked through the doors. The environment is so clean, calm and relaxing. I ordered the sushi set which came with fresh sushi, miso soup, cabbage salad with sesame dressing, a dumpling and edamame! It was the perfect pick for someone who is very indecisive I believe the chef and server did a fantastic job explaining the menu, which was a little confusing at first but I appreciate the time and effort in answering my questions. I hope to come back soon to have a belated valentines celebration and birthday :) Thank you for having me :)

Was exited to try. Was somewhat disappointed with the overcooked miso cod and the overcooked scallops. Overall a solid 3

Our waiter was so friendly and helpful with his knowledge and input on the menu and what his favorites are. All of the staff were friendly, small and intimate restaurant. The 3 course sushi dinner is definitely worth the $49. I would highly recommend it. The waiter told us to come back in a Tuesday for their hand roll deals. Highly recommend the shrimp tempura hand roll, everyone at our table got it and loved it.

Looks like I'm on the other side of enthusiasm for this place. They're known for their handrolls, so I focused my energy there and it was suggested to me I must try the Korean fried chicken. If I described the total eats experience in two words: boring and subpar. I'd return if I had a date because it's chic and has a vibe, but there are better options in the city if food is the focus.

Enjoyed a Friday lunch here with a girlfriend. The price is very good for the quality of sushi. The waitstaff was attentive and the ambiance was peaceful. We have already booked another reservation to go again.

Interesting concept, I heard it's popular in the New York area. Let's get this out of the way... the sushi is pretty forgettable. However, the other dishes are quite good. I especially like the carpaccio dish. They really went over the top in presentation as the "cracker" for this dish was held in this big "vegetable garden" setup. If you order the caviar handroll, they roll out this giant cart and make it in front of you. Like I said, they really go all in with presentation. The negative is you might leave Domodomo hungry since the portions are on the smaller side.

I had a great time at domodomo. They offer valet parking and there's also a parking lot/garage nearby too. This restaurant is more like a casual fine dining omakase experience. Menu changes monthly I believe. My all star favorites were the scallop juk and American wagyu yukhoe. Each dish is beautifully presented and explained. They change out your dishes and utensils after each course. It's like a modern take on Korean fusion dishes. It's definitely filling for $135. Would be a super cute date night spot. Highly recommend trying out!

    Lunch special - 2nd course.

I loved everything about this experience. The location was open and light. It felt like warm sunshine. The service was helpful and attentive. The sushi was fantastic. We went for the lunch special and it was spot on. I will be back.

I got the 4 course sushi dinner for $49. This is a great price for the quality of sushi and the amount of food that you get. It tasted very good & if I'm basing the review just off of food, I would give it a 4/5 stars. I got to the restaurant right when the opened, and the man at the front was very kind and sat me quickly. Since I was the only one there, I could hear the people working talking very loudly and cursing- it was a bit off putting. My server was also not the most helpful and a bit sarcastic at times. The combination of the two threw me off a bit & it why I'm removing a point from my review.

I usually have to share with my husband and that's more than enough for us. They have an awesome selection of cocktails here too, so don't ignore the drink menu. Not a problem since we enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying our drinks. The bartenders were great, fast and very friendly. I appreciate that before pouring my wine, the one bartender put in a lot of effort to buffing my glass. I ordered a plum wine to start, which is always delicious and sweet. We were seated a little earlier than 20 minutes, but unfortunately weren't greeted for a bit following that. They were super busy though. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, and we stuck with splitting apps versus getting ramen. We ordered the shishito peppers, karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. To drink, we ordered and split the hot sake. The first plates came out pretty quickly, and were hot and delicious. Our hot sake took a while to be delivered, and we had to ask our waiter to double check it was still on the way. Then when it arrived, we had to fight off a bunch of gnats that kept landing on the bottle. I guess they wanted to party, too! The shishito peppers were definitely my favorite. They were perfectly coated in sauce and flavoring. The karaage was tender and tastes especially good when paired with the watermelon. takoyaki was served hot and it's a blast watching the Bonita flakes dance on the balls. The edamame, while good, needed to be stirred up because the salt distribution was heavy on certain pieces. We wished we could order dessert, but felt a bit rushed by the server. It was a little before 10pm, so we understand they're off at 11pm, but as a former server there's definitely better ways to keep up with the closing process that feels less intrusive to the patrons. Overall, we had a blast at Wabi house and the food was great. Maybe we went on an off night for service, but overall will definitely be back again!!

The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.

We got spicy gyoza to start, black pork tonkatsu w/ small curry rice bowl and a spicy dan dan. Gyoza came smothered in their sweet garlic chilli which defeats the purpose of a crispy gyoza skirt. It might be better to retain the crisp and crunch of the gyoza skin with the chilli sauce on the side? On to the ramen -- if you want to know if you're getting a quality bowl, look no further than the preparation of the egg. No respectable ramen shop would serve you well done boiled eggs which was the case here. The tonkatsu had heavy garlic flavor which is good but was unfortunately overshadowed by the abundance of burnt garlic bits. Not much to say about the Dan Dan. Bathroom clean but had a strong smelled. Would not go out of my way nor return with the amount of noodle options in dfw.

I am surprised despite the popularity, the wait was not long at all and we were able to get seat almost immediately. For the first time, we ordered 2 appetizers - shrimp tempura and gyoza, not particularly outstanding, but they came out fast! As we were diving into our appetizers, the ramen was ready for us. I had the Spicy Miso Special (with mild spice) and my boyfriend had the Hinodeya special with medium spice. I personally like mine better because it was creamy and super flavorful compared to the Hinodeya special. My boyfriend tends to get stomach ache and fee bloated if he eats too much MSG. But he didn't feel any of those symptoms. To him, it was one of the biggest indicators if that is a good ramen or not. For the second time, we ordered takoyaki and karaage. Again, nothing too outstanding. This time, my boyfriend had what I had last time and I ordered the Tonkatsu special (no pic, sorry!). Maybe because of the lack of spice, I still prefer the Spicy Miso Special over Tonkatsu (Tonkatsu ramen is always my go-to in ramen spots). Regardless, we enjoyed our meals very much in both times.
