I had a baby shower to put on and reached out to Bogue's Alley for a sandwich platter. After talking with Amanda I realized that finger sandwiches would be best for our group. We wanted grab and go but delicious. Amanda recommended doing a variety of sandwiches to appease all of our guests. We ordered turkey, roast beef, tuna and chicken salad. The sandwiches came on nice sturdy trays that were all labeled so the kind of sandwich could not be mistaken. Our guests absolutely loved them and they went quickly. These sandwiches were delicious, excellent quality and priced well. Thanks Amanda and Bogue's!

The one disappointing thing though was when I asked about if an order of 3 churros was enough for two people. The girl said they were small--about six inches or less each. So we ordered 6. The pricing for the drinks was a bit expensive in my opinion, but what I had was tasty. I'd check it out again if in the area.

Hubby went with the Pepper Jack Ham - scrambled eggs, diced ham, onion & pepper jack cheese on an English muffin. Both were hearty & delicious! You can't go to Ozzo & not order the churros. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside & the spicy cinnamon sugar was yummi. The drinks deserve a spotlight of their own. Walking in still feels like stepping into a slice of neighborhood history, the kind of place where the walls could probably tell a few stories and every regular has a favorite order. And the grinders? Still absolute classics. Somehow they've managed to preserve that 100‑year flavor profile--hearty, perfectly layered, and packed with the kind of seasoning and balance that only comes from decades of doing it right. It's comfort food with character, the kind of grinder that reminds you why these small markets matter. The new ownership seems committed to honoring what made Reale's special while giving it just enough polish to keep things running smoothly. Service is friendly, quick, and familiar in that "we've known you forever" kind of way. Why not five stars? Mostly because transitions always come with a little room to grow--tightening up consistency during busy hours, maybe expanding a few offerings--but honestly they're well on their way. The heart of Reale's is still beating strong, and the grinders alone are worth the stop. A true local staple that's managed to keep its soul intact. Four stars and a big nod of appreciation for keeping the tradition alive. Cheers

A rainy day calls for going out for breakfast, and in this case, it was Nana's. We were staying at…read morean Airbnb nearby and our host recommended this place, so we decided to try it out. The GPS led us to a parking lot, with a good number of spots and Nana's was 20 steps away. They do have a patio with a few tables but because it was raining, we went straight inside. When we arrived, there were only a couple parties seated, but by the time we were mid-way through our meal / leaving, the place was packed. Our server helped us with understanding some of the items on the menu and also warned us about some of the iteme they didn't have, like pepperoni, mushrooms, and donuts. With that in mind, we ordered risotto balls to start and the pesto egg and cheese sandwich (baked fresh eggs, pesto, cheddar cheese, lemon aioli, brioche roll) and Dijon and lemon chicken salad sandwich (slow roasted chicken thighs, lemon aioli, herbs, local greens, pickles, and side of fries) for the main meals. The Yaupon iced tea caught our attention since it has indigenous tea with rotating fruit fusion so we ordered one just to try it. The risotto balls came out a little sooner than the other items. We loved the crispy outside, but not a huge fan of the inside since it was mostly risotto with not enough cheese or something to glue it all together. The sauce tasted like a fancy marinara - it was tart, lightly sweet, but a tad acidic and herby too. In our minds, we imagined our main plates looking differently, but I think it was mostly because we didn't do a good job of reading the menu. The pesto sandwich was good. The eggs reminded us a lot of a quiche-spongey and light. It did not have a strong pesto flavor. The roll seemed homemade; it was good and airy. The Dijon lemon chicken salad sandwich was okay. The chicken thighs chunks were tender, and I could definitely taste the pickles, lemon, and Dijon. I think it needed more salt or even something sweet to balance out the acidic flavors. The bread was well toasted. The fries were delicious with the right amount of salt, crispiness, and variety. The iced tea was not our favorite as it tasted overly sweet which might've removed any fruit flavor. The staff was very attentive, they have lots of tables and high chairs to choose from, and lots of natural sun coming through the large windows.
